hi everybody this is Patrick from doggie dashboard today I'm going to show you how to use the new customizable placeholder appointment feature so let's say we're going to create an appointment here on November 13th we're gonna type in Jones it's gonna be for Ballad John's and Maisy Mae and it's going to be a day care appointment at 7 a.m. so this is pretty pretty normal right here schedule that appointment there you go that'll end Daisy Mae at 7 a.m. now let's say we have a potential client that wants to come in for a visit but we don't want to save them in our database yet because we don't know if they're going to become a client let's create a placeholder appointment for that we're in heaven placeholder here so I placeholder and then we'll say 10 o'clock and then it says type of placeholder we're gonna write site visit here here you can write things like site visit or grooming slot or anything you want and that's going to be the name that shows up on the calendar instead of placeholder so if we schedule that appointment there you go you can see that at 10 o'clock we have a site visit and if we do one more let's say we want to do something like a a grooming slot so we always have a grooming slot at 11 o'clock in the morning so let's find 11 there it is and we're gonna call this grooming slot we're gonna say that Grameen's Latinamerica you can see there's a grooming slot there at 11 a.m. now let's say we want to duplicate this grooming slot all on that following week we're going to click on the grooming slot click here to duplicate this appointment and then just select the days next week when we want to have that let's say we only want to have enough Monday Wednesday and Friday we're gonna duplicate the appointment on these days and now you'll see that you have grooming slot appointments on Monday Wednesday and Friday of the following week and now let's say you've owned your slots a client calls you and tells you they want to prove me with 11 you simply click on the grooming slot I'll go here to edit it put the pet in it's going to be banded and you can even add the grooming logo there update that appointment and there you can see now your grooming salon has been removed and bandit is now in there so that's lot for a grooming appointment so that is how you use a new customizable place holders feature and it also works on the kennel calendar as well thanks a lot right
