oh sure we do the story that I've taught some of my project managers on how to get more money for the projects that they run so I said this is the Soraa shared with the month this is not even my story I found this story so she comes in and she goes hey listen before we start on meeting today I started reading about Einstein did I love Einstein and did you know in 1942 Einstein taught in Oxford College ok Mead had a class of about 28 physics tutors and at the end of the first year he gave them an exam they all passed with flying colors of course you're being taught by Einstein but in the second year here taught the same class and he wanted to do something no one's ever done in the history of Oxford University he told the assistant teachers give the exact same exam the second year as we did the first year and they said what you're crazy but of course his Einsteins they did it right so at the end as they handed up the test they went to the back of the set I thought what the hell are we doing this is crazy and Einstein said the most profound thing he said the questions may be the same but the answers have completely changed and so as we begin our project managing meeting today I just wanted to share with you all of you the questions in project management always the same how can we get things delivered on time how can we effectively manage the team that we have the questions are always the same but the answers have completely changed in 2019 if you don't fund the project we won't find you the new answers guess we've got money she got money whereas normally how do they want money missing the report of last month showed that we weren't able to meet our that doesn't matter stories move emotions humans are emotional that's how we make decisions they got money they've got money and again it just shows you the power of it so imagine you wanted to influence client or sorry patient behavior do so with stories but ones that you can craft within you can tell 30-second stories that was a bit longer that's about a minute 20 I know the length of all my stories and just have a bank of it yeah I've got ones when I want more money everything I've gone there and I used them on I used them on my wife as well so honey before we argue let me tell you this story if you ever come to the workshop I'd do this for three days non-stop I'm the only teacher okay I'm the only teacher I do this for about ten hours a day straight and what people don't realize is this is a muscle so I mean I hate to say this but I'm basically the LeBron James of talking yeah sorry I'm just kidding not that good but close and and it's because it's practice and here's the thing what what I realized was and this was one of the most painful realizations I made I give you this version of me right guess what I do when I go home I switch off and then I give my son and I give my wife the sheis version of me vocally and then I start to realize this and I started to go oh what am i doing so then I started to be on most of the time and I go my mentor said to me then you can rest when you sleep dammit and so after a few years of just making sure when I play my instrument I play it beautifully I now have the stamina to go all day baby and it's a muscle it's a muscle and there's actually particular exercises you should be doing can I recommend your book the book is called is by Roger love and the book is called how to set your voice free yes and that is a great book to read about if you want to have more stamina with your voice it's a wonderful book to read for them
