security officer on cruise ship so I'll go through all the details with my experience I'll share with you everything I guess which is not available on internet so let's start it I will go through point by point so it will help you so the very first question comes in our mind is qualification what is the minimum qualification you need to apply as a security officer on board so guys the minimum qualification is graduation or any level of degree happy I know some of you who doesn't have the graduation degree I said but but but if you are not graduate don't get disheartened there are some companies which hire twelve pass also you just have to find it as every company has different criteria rules so you have to find it but such companies are very less so we will consider as graduation as a minimum qualification I hope it's clear and guys if you are undergraduate and if you can if you can complete your graduation do it it's useful and most of the company big companies where if you you want to work the criteria is graduation so I hope I'm clear on this oh let's move to next question what is the maximum upper age limit to apply as a security on board so again let me tell you it varies like from company to company as different companies has different criteria but most of the company I'm talking in general about it the standard age limit is 45 years yes friends 45 years so it's not too late yet for you if you are in your early 40s actually I have many friends who are working in navy and after retirement they join the ship so if you have lost your hope that is great to join the ship get up and apply for it it's not late yet yes you can apply if you have B of 45 so I hope it's clear and let's move to our next question and that is the most important question what experience you need to apply for security job these guides the experience also matters so this is the most tricky question various people have various answer for it but as I am working on a cruise ship as a security officer I can tell you that the minimum requirement is two years yes two years but if you see various videos somebody will say three or five years or and so on okay but but hold on don't leave the video if we have experienced less than two years as per my knowledge if you are applying through any agencies yes if you are applying through agencies you need two year of experience if you will go and you'll say sir I have experience of six months of one year one and a half year they will take your resumee but they will not consider it because they have like n number of resumes so but there is a you know we say dark zone or little bit hope for others also who was less than two-year experience so if you apply through the company website directly that is if you go to carnival or Royal Caribbean or Norwegian mcl piano and all and all and Cl MSC if you are apply through their website one year experience is fair enough yes like I know people who are working on board has one year of experience or near around that so I'll make a separate video on that topic like how to apply directly from the website so do let me know in comment section if you want to know about it now from where can you get the experience okay like what experience you need so if you date if you have a defense background like airforce military Navy then that is useful now question comes in your mind what if I don't have defense background don't worry you can still work you can still apply if you have experience of working on airport or big hotels as a security well then you can still apply or even experience of private security form or if you're at the ex-policeman it will work so you can apply if you have all this experience in all these fields now next questions come in in our mind that is what is the course you need to apply like what is the degree you need what is the is there any specific course related to security or something like that so guys the answer for this is very surprising for you people and that is you don't need any specific course or degree to apply for security yes guys if we have graduation in any field you can apply you just need STCW certificate and you will have a benefit or additional as i can say if you have experience or certificate again two things if you are applying through agency you need the xray certificate and if you are applying through the company website it's not mandatory if you have working on airport you must have worked on x-ray machine or in the big hotels also they use the x-ray machine to screen the luggages that's it you don't have to have a specific degree for security officer oh you don't have to go to college or special course to become a security officer on board if you have it well and good and if you don't still running good sir guys from here let's move to our next point and that is salary of a security officer again again let me tell you there is no specific answer for it as it varies from company to company and it's also depend on your position on which position you are working so the basic range is from lamin hundred dollars to $8,000 yes $1,100 to $8,000 yes friends now I will cover in a separate video where I'll talk about the position and salary about the security like different position of the different salary if you're joining as a security guard obviously you will not get so on again then in night yes we do two shifts so in night shift safety room fire patrol checking the designated restricted area and on sea day it's just patrolling in you know chilling around is like
