hi Gary Cruz with Gary Cruz calm if you're interested in learning how to set up your kiosk in a basic slideshow mode then watch this video today we're gonna set up the kiosk with a basic slide show first we have to transfer the images from my Mac over to the PC which is the Windows 10 Piazza I've got remote desktop setup here and if you haven't figured out how to do this over the network you can also do this on a thumb drive I went ahead and used Photoshop to resize these images and basically what I did is I went over to Photoshop created a new file and set it up under film and video under 2k which is alright actually set it up as 4k as 13 3840 by 2160 and i resized all the images from the source file to that screen orientation I even set up these guidelines here once I scaled those images to fit to the screen accordingly we'll go ahead and transfer them over so let's connect over to the Windows 10 kiosk I should be able to mount this drive all right so let's actually go over to my Mac and go to Network here's kiosk you can see it says try it's trying to connect by default let's go ahead connect as administrator well let's double check if file sharing is enabled let's go to Windows settings and sharing manage advanced sharing options file and printer sharing when file and printer sharing is on files and Printers that you've shared on this computer can be accessed by people in network so we want to turn file sharing on and click on save and close this out switch back over here and connect as you're attempting to connect to the server kiosk click connect to continue and I want to connect as administrator I want to remember the password so I'll have to type it every time connect alright I don't see a shared drive here what I'm looking for is for the D Drive so if we go back to the kiosk you'll see that we have on this computer a local disc and D and what we'll do is let's go ahead and set up a shared folder here I'm going to create a new folder called photos and let's go ahead and give access to kiosk mode since I'm going to use this in kiosk mode later and let's go to properties sharing advanced sharing and share this folder click apply and ok close now let's see if that's shared there we go photos now I've got some photos here that I've exported from the process go to chapter one and I've got ten photos in here let's go ahead and drag those in like this alright it's not no you're right to it for some reason ok what's going on check the properties here oh because it's read-only and we want to uncheck that...
