for life balance so before we get started do you have anything you want to ask or any questions about anything that you might not have gotten i really don't i'm excited okay cool um well then i'll just go ahead and jump right in uh so essentially and i will send you this after we get done so don't worry um let me go ahead and share my screen so obviously the goal here is to help you tell your story and not only tell your story but to also really for you and for your clients to change their lives right so to do that the goal is really to get them not only to tell your story but to get your clients in the door so they can start living a better life so marketing is about making connections with people but it's also about telling the story of the business itself and how that business can affect other people's lives to do that we have to be able to reach people online because as we all know the digital space is really where things take over as far as marketing is concerned now traditional marketing you know tv radio print it's still effective but the best part about this and one thing i like to point out is the amount of reach that you get the amount of people that you'll be able to reach on the budgets that we have allotted for our businesses and that's what is so great about digital is for example with naric we were able to reach i think it was for a thousand people it was costing us four dollars and twenty cents to reach a thousand people and he was telling me he was doing mailers that cost him three thousand dollars to reach about 3 000 people so you know it's a big difference as far as how many people we can reach with this type of marketing nowadays so it's super awesome not to mention the biggest benefit and this is what most businesses don't even take advantage of is the tracking and improvement of campaigns using data that we're able to collect on the biggest difficulties with traditional marketing whether it be tv radio or print is you can't really tell except for with like print you can do a coupon code but if you're not doing something with a coupon code it's hard to tell who actually took advantage of those campaigns and so again with digital we're able to do that super quickly [Music] the goals or really the scope of services looks like this step one we start defining your product and your service so when you sign up what we do is you and i will sit down for probably several hours and just talk about your business i want to know every service that you provide the key points to the service that way i'm able to do my job and explain to your potential customers why your business is so great and why your services are so life-changing and something they need to consider putting into their life then after we do that we understand the market we have to understand why your customers are looking for these services what makes them tick what's making them want to go online and actually begin searching for these services whether it be you know a pregnancy whether it be just wanting more a more centered lifestyle as far as their their mental strength or their their spirituality because i know there's several different reasons why somebody could come to a service like yours and we need to understand that to be able to deliver the message to those customers properly next identifying and engaging your target customers that's where we really do our best job and that's going to come between a combination of seo like you and i mentioned remarketing ads with facebook and instagram and then finally having a killer website that's going to give them all of the information they need to go ahead and click and set that appointment right now four is creating your on and offline communications and promotion strategy so whether we're on or offline we want customers to be able to sign up and set appointments whether they can reach you or not they need to have that ability in today's time people are very very impatient and i'm seeing that uh kind of adjust over time and so we want to make sure that with their impatience with their impulsiveness they're able to take advantage of your services as soon as they want to take advantage of them finally after we get through all of these first four steps we have to track analyze and measure the results that we're getting and then b what we do is we take that data and improve upon the campaign by looking at the data and understanding okay these customers like these services we need to fine-tune either our keyword targeting or our content or our ad approach with the data that we've collected [Music] okay so let's look at the service description and essentially what this is is i've built out a six month contract for you that i think will really get the results that you're looking for and provide the roi that you need to feel comfortable moving forward in the future and you know even spending more ad dollars to increase that bottom line for you month one looks like this first off actually i should have put it in order but first off we're actually going to look at your website the biggest things that i saw um and i did a deeper dive into your website and into your content your ad strategy stuff like that after we got off the call on uh tuesday is the website needs to be a little bit just redesigned not a ton we don't need to mess with it a bunch but we do need to shift some things like the colors are totally fine i actually like the color scheme that you have going on but we do need to shift a couple of things and really what i found was with webvolve what they did it seems they used a so you've heard of a theme or a template for your website and the theme that they used is super super slow and it's actually a super large file size you might remember when we were talking how i told you you had a large css file and that was probably slowing down your site it's actually the theme of your your entire website so what we can actually do is just adjust the theme a little bit it'll still have essentially the same look but we need to use a different file type um to keep it simple and what that'll do is allow your your website to render faster when people search for it and click on it because that was the one thing i did notice when i very first came to your website it took about five to ten seconds to load and again that's something we really want to avoid in today's impulsive society so what we want to do is look at redesigning a little bit adjusting the theme a little bit this is going to help with speed as well as other things we're going to do like compressing images that they haven't compressed or making sure that there's just not extra coding on the website that doesn't need to be there next is we want to actually add four new service pages and so really quickly let me show you what that'll look like because i've already built it out a little bit uh what this will look like is kind of like this our home page we actually want to give people all of the different services listed out and this is going to do two things number one make it easier for people to find and click and set the appointment for the service that they're interested in this is a good signal to google it means that when people come to your site they can find things super easily which means positive user experience that means that google is going to say okay a bunch of people are coming here they're setting appointments we want to rank this site a little bit higher and start sending them more traffic which is good for you so what it would kind of look like is this we would have all of your services listed out here for childbirth since i know you have doula and prenatal all of those were from your atlanta birth and baby site you want to add these to this site but just list it under childbirth services and then your top bar will look like this it'll actually kind of be a little bit separate and a smaller bar where it'll say home it'll have your about your contact and reviews because currently i see it has location which we typically in the website building space want to put under the contact section because people just know when i click the contact session there's going to be a map there's going to be the phone number all types of information there's going to be a contact form so that way they know where to find things exactly and currently if you're looking at your website now there is no contact button and that's what people it's just a trigger that people have in their head when they see that they understand that means i can get in touch with this business currently they're going to have to search around for it which again that that adds to that negative user experience um i did you have a question you wanted to ask though well yeah the question is so can we move the site from webvolve because you know i don't know how that works like does he own my site because i mean this is a this is actually kind of a friend of mine and it doesn't matter i mean you know we've been doing business for a while but um but i just didn't know how that works like you know can we do we have to take it from him or i don't i don't understand it so essentially what would happen is we would do what's called a migration and i would recommend migrating it over to a web development platform that we use called duda if that's not possible that's totally fine we can work with them the issue really is that webvolve uses a hosting platform that is really really slow and that's actually hurting your website more than it's helping on top of the theme that i was talking about that has a really slow load time the actual hosting or server that you're using for your website is also not render it's not allowing your site to render fast enough so the reason i like duda is because they actually use amazon hosting amazon has a cloud hosting platform and cloud hosting you've heard of the cloud before same thing but with hosting so it makes it a lot faster because there's a lot less baggage there's a lot less weight meaning your website has that ability to come up and pop up super super quickly so it would be a basic migration and then obviously we would take over the management of your services so if that's something that's you know kind of you want to think about i totally understand that's not necessarily something we have to do we can work within you know webvolves boundaries but again the issue is if they're not willing to increase your hosting speed or the size of your hosting account it's going to make it very difficult for us to get the speed of your site where we need it to be and really we want to get your score up to about a 90 to 100 and if we can get in that range you're instantly going to start showing up in search results for all of your different keywords that we target so that's the biggest reason why we want to make that adjustment and the other benefit really for you is it's actually going to be more affordable than webvolve because amazon is done in the cloud again a lot less baggage meaning a lot less work on their end to keep the product up and running plus it's amazon they're the biggest company in the world they've scaled everything so far that they can provide the cheapest cost to their customers and so it's gonna not only provide you a cheaper cost for hosting and management of your site but it's also going to provide a faster speed which again means more people setting appointments and that's really nothing you would have to worry about if you know if you wanted to go that route all you have to do is let me know i would get in contact with webvolve and the person you have managing your your account and we would work with them to make the migration happen all right so that's website also the last couple of things are outside of creating the four new service pages to help people find your services easier we would obviously set up analytics and tracking i'm really surprised that webvolve never set up google analytics that's one of the first things typically that web development companies do and especially since they're not just a web development company i saw they also do marketing and things like that so i'm really surprised they didn't do that but that is one of the first things we need to do and that's going to help us figure out really what pages people are visiting not to mention being able to remarket to those people after they visit your website so that way we can ensure that we get as many of those people to sign up as possible finally we're going to set up call tracking and this is a super useful tool for two reasons number one it's going to allow us as the marketer to understand we're helping you drive appointments currently like we mentioned you're not ranking in the maps section of google if i can make adjustments to your site add call tracking call tracking actually tells us where the lead came from whether it be from facebook ads from google search organic from paid search and that's going to instantly be able to let me know hey we're driving results to your to your website already in the first month because of the adjustments that we made to seo well maybe not the first month because we will have to do some adjustments before we can get it live again but about three to four weeks in that's when we'll probably have the site back live and we'll be able to start tracking and measuring the results that we're getting so a super super useful tool but number two is do you have an office admin who answers and sets appointments or is that you i do have i do have an office person um she yes i do okay and so the cool thing is but sometimes it's me too i mean it's either one of us it just depends she's a therapist as well so i you know i pay her to be at the front desk but if she has an appointment she's you know she's back there of course okay cool here's the benefit and this is not to speak ill of either you nor her but what it does is it allows us to actually listen in on the calls and my marketing team can actually analyze those calls and figure out number one our calls not being answered because if that's happening that's obviously a big issue and we can find a solution for that number two if we're on the call and we have people analyzing the sales call because that's what we do is sales at my agency um if we're listening to the calls and we hear you know certain things that might be able to be adjusted so that way you're able to increase the amount of appointments we just want to be able to provide you that feedback from there that's it's your decision what you would like to do with that information but we're able to at least listen in and get an understanding of what's happening on your calls that might be hindering an appointment from being set make sense and so it's a really useful tool and again really the biggest thing is we want to make sure phone calls are being answered we should never have a phone call not be answered and that's you know obviously that that's a missed appointment right there um and so we want to be able to track those two okay so this we probably should address this right up front sure um it's a little embarrassing but i actually when we first open i start we we we use a cell phone okay for the business now that has been working absolutely just fine but recently my husband and i have discussed i think we need to probably separate it now and have you know but i don't know what to do do i go and get a new number for life balance atlanta or do i go and get a new personal number so here's what is great about call tracking we are actually going to give you a phone number it comes with a phone number that you can put on your business now and what we would actually do is make that your business line and what it actually does it just forwards the call to your cell phone so you don't even need to go get an office phone or anything extra we're just giving you a number that we put on your website that people will start to call so it makes it super simple for you guys to make that adjustment and i believe we should be able to i haven't checked on this but i'm pretty sure we can set it up to where it will go to both phones so it might go to yours and her phone so that way both of you are getting the calls perfect cool super super important but also super super helpful in making sure that we get every bit of traffic coming into the business we're able to take care of it uh month two kind of looks like this after month two we don't really have to do we might be finishing up some of the website development stuff but after that we're really not doing anything else as far as web development is concerned from there what we're looking at is the oh wait i didn't go over the top stuff i just went over web design let me actually back up so content creation is another thing we want to do we want to start adding one blog per month at about 500 words and again this is going to start helping you get other traffic for different types of keywords that people could be typing in on google that's included we want to do a google my business optimization which is that all of that information you see about a business on google when you type in like you know restaurant near me and then you click on the restaurant and it brings up the map and the listing with the all of that information we just want to optimize it there's some stuff that can be done there that will help you show up in search results more than you are now last two things are ads management this includes a page optimizations we're actually going to go into your facebook and instagram account we'll optimize the business pages we're going to make the profile pictures look better we're going to make the cover photos or cover videos look better we're going to build out your ad account which is where we go back into the back end of facebook and actually set up all of these different audiences that i'm talking about so for example if people were clicking on detox regimens i can actually create a audience or an audience using this link right here and everybody who visits this link we're now able to create an ad for and send ads to them i would say that we're going to i'm looking at a smaller budget to start off with so we're probably not going to target every service what we would do is we'll start off with your top three and really just focus in on getting those three driving results and bringing in profit for your business because until you're profitable there's no reason to spend any more money on ads so that's essentially what that looks like after that the account build out then we get into the ad creation and i'm going to do for you just like i did for naric and actually this is included free of charge i'm not going to charge you anything for this first video but we want to come in and shoot a professional style video and edit it for you so that way you have some promotional material put on you know on your website on google in these ads it'll be all over the place so that way we're able to really communicate the message that we want life balance to be able to send to its audience so that's a really really huge benefit there month number two looks like this local seo which i should have mentioned i skipped it again but we're going to do local and technical seo which is really going through the site making sure all those meta descriptions meta tags making sure your images have descriptions on them but not only that those service pages that i was talking about building this is going to be a huge huge feature because again we're targeting different types of keywords on your website that have not been targeted currently and it's going to allow us again to index inside of google search database so that way other customers can find you month two we're going to continue with local and technical seo this will be an ongoing practice where we're constantly ch checking uh more like a b testings have you heard of split testing we're going to be split okay essentially what that means is for massage therapy for example what we want to actually test is is massage therapy more of a popular keyword or is back massage going to get us more traffic for people who are looking for that specific issue so for massage therapy eventually over time what we want to do is add in sub pages that are back massage neck massage foot massage and that's because those are the words that people are actually typing into google to find those particular services and so that's kind of how we want to target as well so that's where the ongoing local and technical seo practice comes into play also as far as you know outside of those types of keywords your geographic keywords like roswell alpharetta and there's probably even smaller areas inside of those bigger areas that we could probably target you know how like in atlanta they have midtown but midtown isn't really a city yeah and it's more of an area that's what we actually can target too because when people go online that's what they end up searching for even though it's not a city so we can find certain areas just like that inside of john's creek roswell alpharetta that people would be familiar with that we might not be targeting currently and so we're going to play around with those keywords too next is adman ads management again we're going to continue with ads management really in the first month we're doing all of the build out getting things ready shooting your video content stuff like that second month is where we really start to actually spend on ads towards the end of the first month is where we start spending but really second month is where we get a full month of spending on your campaign we're collecting a bunch of data and we're able to analyze what ads are working and which ones aren't what we need to do to optimize those ads to get better results finally the last few things content creation we're going to continue creating a blog a month we're going to finalize your website adjustments like i mentioned we're going to do a call check and listen to calls to make any recommendations to you we'll provide a report on that and then last two things are analytic reporting and traffic reporting and again all of this is basically just saying how much traffic were we able to drive to your site that wasn't coming there before how many of those turned into appointments and then how much revenue did you generate from those appointments because that's really important to understand are we making money or are we not and that's really the bottom line there traffic reporting is just showing an increase in traffic that's one of the biggest things that we're going to be able to help do by implementing seo so essentially in the first month after we get done you should see two to three times the amount of traffic you are getting because you're going to start showing up in search results which is huge because if we can increase traffic two to three times that means you can increase appointments two to three times which is easily gonna make you happy month three looks a lot like month two if we if we're still in the process we'll finalize any website adjustments but i doubt we will be in that phase still we should be able to get all of the website adjustments done in the first two months because you don't have a massive website with all kinds of like you don't have a big inventory of products that you sell so we don't have to worry about all of that we're really just making sure the services line up with what customers are looking for wait a second um i will tell you i am looking to add an online store oh okay and what are you selling we sell we sell supplements we sell cbd we sell candles i make i make you know soy candles with essential oils we sell i sell essential oils i sell um yes is it doterra i do yeah yeah my mom loves doterra she's always putting live she walks up to me and will literally wipe lavender on my face i'm like mom i can't smell anything other than wants to calm you down jordan she knows i'm very very high strung and super full of energy so yeah that's definitely part of it but no essential oils are great so i guess my question would be if a customer goes online to your store and places an order how would it be shipped to them are you the one doing the shipping or do you have a connection to where because this is something we could also discuss i know that doterra probably has a way where we can actually set it up to it's called have you heard of drop shipping drop shipping yeah and that's essentially what we would want to do so that way because we don't want you going to the post office five times a week to make deliveries that's that's gonna take up a lot of time from you what they can literally do is they can go in and like just set up an account for themselves okay and then just order on their own it's just you know it'll just be a link for you know my account okay gotcha yeah so i've got i've got two or three products like that okay um that they can just go in and order themselves now is in terms of well actually the cbd i can i can check with that company to see if they can do drop shipping they might be able to we'll try to streamline it as much as we can that you know it can get shipped out with through them having their own account a lot of them are going to be ones especially like you know my people that have anxiety and really high stress um those are people that i want on these products of course you know long term would you say you're selling a lot of those products to your customers already or do they kind of have their own connections um no i sell a lot of them yeah because that's that i never really set out to sell products except people would say well i don't really know what to buy you know where do i get that or whatever so i started carrying a few things and then it's kind of just developed from there because you know the general public doesn't really know like a really good product from a crappy product right right and so you know they're like well i don't want to waste my money on a on a supplement that's full of fillers you know when i could be spending a little bit more on a really quality supplement so that's really the only reason i started carrying them and uh no i have i have people that buy them you know pretty regularly that's awesome and so that's that's and here's the the other benefit is it's kind of two parts so first off your customers you do have we're going to be able to upsell them more and this is also all good information to know because if you know when we start to build your website we want to be able to plan for that in the future so that way we are able to streamline everything because we can add an e-commerce and that's what i like about the website platform we develop on if we want to add any type of features it can be complicated with wordpress and i know that's what your site is built on right now wordpress you have to have all kinds of plugins the website platform that we use actually already has all of these stored in-house we don't have to go through any third party so anytime you want to make any type of adjustment it's very easy for us to make that adjustment the other good thing is we're able to then remarket to these people who are visiting your site and send them to your online store to buy these products so instead of having to even worry about selling them in store or in your shop which you can still do obviously don't stop doing that but we don't have to rely on that being the only point of contact to sell those services and then we can even set up regular subscriptions where people are kind of like amazon if you've ever bought a subscription on amazon where you get a product sent to you monthly same exact type of prop uh premise there and so this is all really good to know because that is definitely going to help increase obviously profit margins for you because we're able to sell more products increasing that average order value for a customer which is huge right yeah yeah because we've been kind i mean i did get a proposal from webvolve and he you know showed me how i could add products myself and all that kind of stuff but then i was you know i was also told that maybe just go with shopify but again that's the third you know that's a third party that's gonna you're gonna take people off my site to another site right and yeah so i'm glad i didn't make a move on that yet because i've been pushed i've been i've been really i i was supposed to have done that during you know the downturn of covet and all of that but now i'm kind of glad i didn't yeah no that was a smart move because yeah and it you said it perfectly the goal is to keep people on your website you never want them leaving your site so good to know that i'm working with someone who understands how web marketing works this is always good good good no it's very complicated sometimes with people and they don't understand yeah but what does it matter if they're going to buy the product i'm like it matters you really you have to look at every little detail month three again pretty much the exact same as month two and it will stay the same up until month six of the contract and then from there obviously we'll talk about renewal and things like that but i think this is a perfect strategy for your business and if we can implement all three of these things you're gonna have a sales funnel that is just killing it as far as sales are concerned with either your in-house services or products you're trying to sell online okay so let's look at the money here's the scary part for everybody it's pretty simple straightforward in six months the total campaign is around thirteen thousand the first month is going to be three grand and what this looks at is everything in the first month that we talked about the web development new pages being built new content setup and optimization of accounts basically everything that we talked about right here building out your ad account adding in new seo optimizing this creating a new blog article and then all of the work really most of the work is getting done in the website optimization plus the ad video i told you that's not even included in the price we'd usually charge about 750 to a grand to shoot a video like that we're throwing that in for free just because i really want to work with your business i think you have a smart business setup i think you guys have a lot of potential that hasn't even been tapped into yet and it's because of the fact that seo hasn't been apart that's first month second month after that continues two grand per month and that's all management fees right and you can see that breakdown here local and technical seo is 1500 ads management which is us managing the ad spend is 500 um the one-time setup fees for the first month is a grand but every month past that is just these two costs right here the only other cost outside of that is your 500 ads then we don't add this into our budget because we don't touch any of that money if we put 500 into your ads that's all going to your ads that's what the management fee is for again six months the total is 13 000. but the great thing about it is i don't think we will have any problem recuperating that money plus tons more because of what your average order value is you said your customers were around 400 to 700 depending on the service is that correct yeah i mean right i mean i think we talked about the classes you know and i mean we kind of talked about the high-end um customer like you know like a massage customer's an 85 one hour massage right yeah i mean if we can drive more hypnobirthing people here you know more hypnotherapy right people those those services or more right and how many how many massage clients would you say you see per month just see it's hard to break out just massage alone because it's they're all kind of mixed in here i would say probably right now probably 40 45 something like that yeah so 40 that puts your revenue out 40 would be a good estimate okay and so that puts your revenue at about 3 400 per month off of massage alone which is good we can take that number of massage clients up to 60. we should be able to at least increase by 10 to 20 more appointments per month in the first month it would be probably closer to five well first month is a lot of adjustment and setup and stuff like that but uh you know past like the third week when we get we get into week four month two that's where we'll start to see some increase so 10 times 85 is roughly 850 dollars in revenue there that's just from 10 new clients and that's half your marketing budget right there so i can easily see by incorporating more massage clients more hypno birthing more hypnotherapy just those prac because you said those were your top three services that's those are the three i think i want to focus on okay which ones are the three you sell the most other than massage i know massage is probably your biggest seller i would say hypnotherapy and hypnobirthing would probably be the i mean reiki we do we do some reiki too i mean i'm getting more and more reiki people um they like to have the reiki with their massages that's because we do have a service with reiki and massage combined and i'm getting more and more of that so i would but still i would say the three top would be massage hypno birthing and hypnotherapy okay but the ones that i would like to grow them because eventually i would like to just have massage therapists doing the massages and me doing the hypnobirthing and the hypnotherapy because those are about massage okay right and me getting out of that yeah okay and see that's the thing i think with just targeting those three services alone we should be able to increase your revenue double or triple in the first few months and that's again because we're not currently showing up in search results so if i start getting you in search results you're easily going to start making enough money not not just to cover your ad costs but to actually see profit in the first few months just from that traffic coming in from search results then we add ad spend or add management into that and actually start remarketing people who didn't convert on the first time that they visited your website that's another 50 to 100 increase in revenue right there or not in revenue but in appointments being set which would increase revenue and profit so i don't see any problem recuperating the budget per month that that's an easy target to hit with and the good thing is you have those higher dollar services so i think this is something that we can easily do and i would love to move forward with you the only thing that we have to do past this point is actually get to the contract which is the next part so why us the biggest thing is this lisa i am and i i don't like to i'm like you i don't really like to brag about myself but i'm a very good marketer i've been doing this for a very very long time i've worked at the second largest media company in the world got a lot of experience from there and then took that and built my brand on youtube where we now have over 50 000 subscribers we get around 50 000 hits to our website per month and this is all from the tactics that i'm literally saying to you right now so i'm not speaking out of you know just fee out of theory this is actual practice that we do not only with myself but with my clients that we take on as well naric again would be happy to tell you that we're doing the exact same thing for him and he's super super happy with his results but i love marketing really that's why i teach it that's why i have so i have 4 000 students that i work with every single week and it's super important for me to make sure that other businesses learn how beneficial this can be for their business where i feel like a lot of you know webvolve is a big company i kind of did some research into their business they look like a fairly large company most companies that have their own hosting platform are typically a larger marketing agency and not to speak ill of them but what happens when you get that large is eventually it gets to be a cookie cutter type of method and there is no customization to the campaign there's no real research and thought put into the campaign and that's something that we do with every single client we take on and we make sure not to scale too quickly we don't want to be the guys that grow and make millions of dollars and hurt a bunch of people along the way i would much rather have happy customers and scale quicker scale slowly so that way i know my business is seen as one of the top agencies in the world because at the end of the day that is my goal for my agency as far as my team we really have the best and the brightest here obviously outside of myself ted he's actually sitting right outside listening to this call right now probably one of the smartest analytical people that i've ever met uh when it comes to being detail-oriented that's why he is operations manager of the team he makes sure that we thought that we actually take into consideration every single detail that could ever be possibly thought about it drives me nuts sometimes because i'm just you know you can tell i'm very high strung very high energy i just like to go he's the one who reels me back in and makes sure that we actually do consider all of the fine details and then ian another very high strung guy like me but super super creative and one of the hardest workers i've ever met he's going to be in charge of the actual marketing campaign while working with me so it's not i will never take my hands off of this this is something that i am constantly involved in but he is the director of marketing so he runs the actual team of people that we have that create graphics run ads produce the content or write because i'm not a writer i'm awful at writing but we have fantastic writers on our team that are able to provide the results that we want and he's in charge of managing that entire team and then the contract basically everything that you would see in a standard marketing contract uh from strata you know the services being rendered errors revisions strategy and design um if you want i can let you take a look at this really quick and you can read through it because towards the end this is going to be at the point where we go ahead and decide what we want to do moving forward and so i want you to feel comfortable if you have any questions about anything again i'm going to send this over to you after this call if you like i can send it to you now but it's kind of up to you but i can go through this slowly with you if you like i can read it through with you no i can read it i do have a couple of other uh questions so sure so this doesn't include like any facebook like you know postings or anything like that so no but okay the reason why is because it does not matter when businesses come to you today and tell you that they're gonna post to your facebook understand it means nothing and the reason why is because facebook back in the day and i'm talking eight years ago there's organic and then there's paid reach do you understand the difference between the two yeah their organic reach algorithm used to allow for 25 to 30 percent reach meaning if you posted something and you have a hundred followers on your facebook account or 100 likes on your facebook page that meant 30 of those people would automatically be shown that post facebook realized we're not going to make money if we just keep sending out posts for free so that's when they transitioned into more of an ad based platform which took the organic algorithm down to point five percent meaning if you post something now without any engagement whatsoever it's gonna get maybe one viewer to see it what usually happens is you're gonna like the post because it's your business the other lady at your office will like the post because it's your business your husband might like the post if he's on social i don't know how active he is but he might like the post if he's on social and maybe your friends but have you have you ever posted and noticed it's the same four or five people liking it or engaging with it every single time and that's the reason why i don't believe in just page posting anymore because it is a waste of time and effort on behalf of the business what's more important is those ads that we will be running for your business page because people will actually see those ads oh that's music to my ear so i don't have to post to facebook anymore i would say it's a waste of time unless you're running ads unless you are running ads it is pointless to do it's serious i haven't posted on my actual facebook page like unless it's something where i know it's just like my audience wants to see me doing something like i went on vacation in hilton head and was on a boat doing something fun so i posted that and i would say if you have things like that post it because your audience doesn't just want to see business lisa they want to see you in your regular life and they love that stuff and i know you're worried about you know kind of don't worry about that it's all about just showing the real you and so that's really the biggest thing you don't have to post i like posting when it's something that i actually enjoy doing and that i know my audience will connect with okay so yeah to answer that question very simply you don't really need to anymore it's it's a waste of time okay and the instagram stories and all that crap because i hate that yeah so um what i would say is this ins now as far as stories are concerned that's probably the only thing that still has any value left you don't have to again the point of us running ads we're actually going to be running ads in the stories so your audience who is visiting your website will see ads in their stories but if you again if you're doing something fun or let's say you came up with a new idea or something like that you want to post that stuff and it's just because your audience wants to see i'm never gonna make you post anything nor will i ever say you have to do it or you won't make money because at the end of the day our job is to make you money with seo with the ads that we're using for remarketing but if you feel like posting then post i would say just make sure it's something you really care about because then it becomes fun when you're posting just to post for business it gets very monotonous it gets very boring it feels like a task whereas if you're posting and it's something that you just enjoy and that's what i love about naric he used he he had the same issues like i'm so sick of just posting and then he finally realized after we had a discussion i was like it's pointless don't do it and now what he's realizing is he likes posting again but it's just because he's posting stuff that he likes to do okay yeah so super super easy like solution there just stop posting you're fine okay so again all of this is just mutual cooperation basically saying that you know we expect you to be a part of your marketing campaign we're going to take it over obviously but we will need stuff from you it's your business and at the end of the day that's just how that works charges for service is performed basically we just request we take payment up front we don't take payment at the end of the month because that has led us to some bad relationships with customers and us having to send people to collections i don't like doing that i don't like setting up that type of relationship so we do charge upfront ahead of time so if you do decide we will actually do a three thousand dollar payment i'm not going to do it today because the weekend's coming up and i don't like starting contracts on the weekend what i'll do is i'll send you the invoice and i'll want you to pay it monday so we can get started monday as soon as we get back in the office because again if i'm not working on the weekend why would i charge you for the first two days and we're not even doing anything so it's just more fair for both of us terms of payment again i just mentioned that basically the every 30 days once you're once you reach that next 30 days you're going to receive a payment that covers the next month we're about to spend marketing on your campaign and again this is a six month contract i don't like to do year-longs for every like especially for small businesses i like to start with a six-month contract so you feel a little bit more comfortable also we're able to show you results in the first two to three months and as long as we do that i know which i know we're going to do you're going to be super happy your business is going to be making more money and you're going to want to continue on past that point okay but then past that point would it would still be just the like the it won't be that initial month right it'll be more like the two yes ma'am unless we decide to increase budget which at that point you might want to do because here's the thing the more money you put into facebook and instagram ads or let's say we wanted to start spending on google ads so that way you always show up in the top results when some because do you understand the difference between ppc and seo so ppc is called pay-per-click you know seo right yeah so actually i'm going to show you a quick example so if i go online and i type in dentist near me what happens is you see that yeah add add add right right and then if we even go to the bottom adds right here you never want to be in the bottom just so you know you always want to be at the top of the results but this is called ppc this is pay-per-click what's happening is people are paying to show up at the top of search results meaning it doesn't matter how great their website is or how good the engagement on their website is they're always going to show up at the top if they're spending but you can see we have new patients roswell dental smiles then we have another company aspen dental there's still competition here it's called cost per click whoever's spending more is essentially going to show up in the top results but also who has the better website for conversion so websites still do matter as far as making it a user-friendly experience but it's a little bit different from seo because seo is based on just organic search meaning people are coming on here they're skipping past the ads and they're saying i like this company here they have 121 reviews i'm going to check out their website they check it out set up an appointment that is an organic engagement versus this up here is a paid engagement meaning they paid to get up here i clicked on it and set an appointment does that make sense so in the future you might want to add some budget into ppc i would personally recommend it because then you're not only showing up in organic results you're also in the paid results and that means you're literally taking over the entire home page so you should be the only company not the only company you'll always have competition but you'll be the primary company that people are utilizing for your types of services okay okay and then the other the only other question was you mentioned blogs do you write those or do i have to write those or that's us that is all us okay we do the research we provide any graphics or images that we want to put into the blog content as well as we write the 500 words and really again the premise or the point behind writing these this content is so we can start targeting other keywords that you're not targeting on your service pages and again that's going to help us show up in search results when people type in i don't know what's a weird word for massage body rub like say somebody typed in body rub on google it's probably very rare that that would ever happen but we can include those types of words in our blog content which will then help us start to rank when people type in those keywords in or john's creek or alpharetta okay okay cool all righty well um i mean yeah i i mean i love the i love you know the great presentation and and all the stuff that's included you know again i mean i i would like to run this by my husband you know i mean i i think i'm probably going to go forward but you know i'm i'm really not one that ever signs on the first you know i want to kind of digest it and and i mean i can even let you know tomorrow if you so i think that's smart of you and i think you should take some time i think you should definitely discuss it with your husband what i would say is if you get to the conversation with your husband and he kind of just doesn't understand or anything like that give me a call give him a call and i will hop on a call and make sure he feels as comfortable too because that's really what i want both of you to feel comfortable i would never want a husband to be like yo who's this weird guy like i know i gave you his information but what's he trying to charge us all this money for i want him to feel comfortable too and i will respond and we can hop on a call and i can make sure he's comfortable too all right lisa well then i would like to get to your friday i hope you have a great friday and again if you have any questions as making sure you have solid processes solid procedures in place that you know what and how to say things to customers that you're able to read the situation because you never want to you never want to push someone who is not the type of person to be pushed right there are instances where you do want to push someone but i could read her very easily and i understood that she was not the type of person that ever wants to be pushed or cornered into a situation outside of that guys like i mentioned in the beginning of today's video make sure you go in the description below and check out all of
