[Music] [Music] good afternoon you guys and welcome to the vlog so today I'm on my way to go meet up with my friend Sokka we're gonna get lunch so I'm actually in he BIA right now and I'm on my way to your Co which is like one stop away I know I mentioned this in another video but one of my goals for 2020 was to like explore Japan more so one thing I've been doing is I'll get off like one stop early from my actual destination and then I'll walk to the actual town that I'm supposed to go to this way I can like explore the city look around find new stuff all that junk it's actually been really working I feel like I've discovered more of Japan in this last week that I have like in this whole four years I was almost late but I am on time oh my god I almost missed my bus like my bus is so infrequent it comes like every once in a while every Blue Moon whenever it feels like it so like if you missed that one then you're gonna be late like you ain't gonna make it I look so bummy it's not even funny I just like threw on some clothes ran out the house but it's it's so sunny but it's actually freezing so I for once have on blue jeans I never have on blue jeans it's not no basic blue jeans and I have on this beanie that I got from H&M this Tom and Jerry B need freaking love it I did not get breakfast it's like 1 o'clock right now maybe yeah it's like 1 o'clock I didn't have breakfast yet so I don't actually know what we're getting lunch but wherever we're getting I'm freaking starving you work on flavor for and like the muscle like you do a lot of planes and like you know Pilates for me [Music] all right so I made two restaurants places so fruit and cuticle carbs it's in you don't show they also have one in Yokohama but like the lunch at it's like sixteen bucks and you get salad of any pasta of your choice you can eat and drink so I got salad I let slide up I'll pick my cake so I don't know what cake I got it's going to be surprised and [Music] the boov is a douche people you're dying like why would you like an electronic store [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] good morning everyone I just woke up I'm on my way to the store right now I had breakfast I had like toast with eggs oh my freaking God I have no groceries in the house there's like no food in the house which is so weird it's so unlike me because you guys know I cook a lot so for me to just have eggs and bread just don't make any sense so I made a grocery list this morning and I like to write mine down a little book that way I can always go back and reference that little book and see like what type of groceries I should get I am walking so I'm gonna go to the grocery store that's like farther away just so I can get a little bit of exercise I got my backpack I asked you guys over on Instagram or what I should make for dinner got a lot of answers looks like pasta chicken and some house salmon and rice was like on here like a million times so I might actually take one of these suggestions cuz I don't know what I want for dinner this month has been like the best weather in Japan like all year which is so weird cuz this is like winter [Music] I just got home from grocery shopping and I'm actually so excited they had a couple of lucky bags or happy bags left it's basically this really fun activity that you get experience if you're here in Japan during the New Year season all the stores like so many stores department stores clothing stores everyone is selling these lucky bags it's so so much fun so the star will put random items in the back everyone will purchase them for some set price obviously you don't know what's in there that's the fun part so the really cool thing about lucky bags is like pretty much no matter what you're going to be getting your money's worth so I've never heard of someone having a bad lucky bag but the really fun thing is like a lot of them are sometimes really lucky like I know people who've won iPads like expensive coats phones all kind of stuff guys these are like these are just so exciting obviously there's not gonna be anything exciting in mine from the grocery store but I don't know I thought it would be fun all right well yeah we got some mics popcorn I don't know why there are two lettuce leafs on there what does that even mean like waffle fried chips frogs for free got some taco Doritos I feel like I need to have friends over cuz there ain't no way I'm about to finish all these chips oh my god more junk food okay actually these are actually fire so every time I go back home to America these I always bring as a souvenir everyone loves them they're so delicious that are just like really soft yummy cookies so if you're looking for a souvenir definitely get these oh my god this is a junk food bag why didn't nobody tell me this I was thinking like onions maybe some carrots in there but now that I think about it like it wouldn't be able to last if it was like fresh produce so oh got some senbei this is uh rice crackers I definitely beating these I love these and they're a lot healthier than like any other chip and it literally just says candy like I don't even know what kind of candy is just candy looks like some more rice crackers but these have like something in them some kind of seed or something I don't know what that is looks like jalapeno onion I've actually never tried this flavor so this shall be fun after you've eaten jalapeno chips and everything else there is some mix okay that was super fun but this was literally a bag of junk food this will be happily donated told my friends cuz I cannot eat this much junk food but it was super fun and I think I will hold on to the Pringles and the senbei so earlier today I asked you guys over on Instagram what I should make for dinner I had a lot of different answers but so many people said rice some kind of rice dish I just noticed that I cook a lot of pasta so the first thing I'm gonna do is wash my rice and then let it soak in some hot water for like I don't know thirty minutes to an hour you don't have to do this but it's just an extra step I'm gonna cut up all my veggies and for this risotto I'm using onions celery and garlic to give this a little bit more of a smoky flavor we're gonna add a bacon I usually do a mushroom risotto but I'm switching it up today [Music] in a pan with some olive oil you're gonna cook the bacon and the veggies down for like one minute or so [Music] [Applause] after that you can add in the one cup of soaked rice I'm gonna sprinkle in a chicken bouillon cube you can also use a bit you bullion cube then I'm gonna add two cups of water and let this boil until it is done cooking after this is cooked we're gonna add in all of our spices and some milk you can use any milk whole milk and cream is really great for this recipe but I'm just using almond milk I'm using a lot of different cheese I got Gouda Roma darn mozzarella cheddar and cream cheese you can add any cheese that you want but I do recommend Parmesan and cheddar they just have a really nice taste in risotto I have my seafood rinsed and soaking over here in some cold water after everything has cooked and the cheese has melted down you can go ahead and add in your seafood and any fresh herbs that you have like some parsley on top but I don't got any and I'm having this with a side salad and some cherry tomatoes with olives [Music] [Applause] [Music]
