in our guest speaker dave o'brien with evo advisors in just a few moments um a few um excuse me housekeeping items before we do get started today i just want to let everyone know you are on mute but being recorded and will be also sent out to everybody that attends the webinar today about an hour or so after the webinar ends all right let's go ahead and get started so i do see some new names out there today so again welcome to everyone for joining today so for those who are new or maybe just a refresher i just want to talk briefly about what exactly precise fp is so precise fp is a data gathering platform that helps financial advisors offload the work of collecting client information we were actually founded back in 2007 and for the past 13 years we really have grown from a simple financial questionnaire to a complete data management solution that captures validates and securely stores client data and precise fp does integrate with several crms and financial planning tools so that advisors can actually share data between applications with a click of a button and get out of the data entry business a lot of times people tend to think that we just are a simple fact-finding solution but as you can see i have listed out here that precise fp really is so much more and has so much to offer at one low cost that's right everything that i have listed here is included in the monthly cost of precise fp and like i mentioned before when we first started out we only had one questionnaire available and it wasn't even able to be customized so we really have evolved over the years with the help from advisors like you all to to make precise fp what it is today and really make the experience for your clients as well as you and your business much more efficient by having all of these important pieces happening in one platform these are definitely exceptional times as we all know um we know advisors have really kind of or are beginning to and continue to kind of move from their offices to to working from home and clients instead of you know meeting their advisors face to face they're talking more on the phone or through go to meeting like we're doing here so and we know that for some advisors it has been an easier transition since they were already using paperless virtual systems like precise fp and maybe other tools to to handle other aspects of engaging clients like zoom or go to meeting for other advisors we know it wasn't so easy and still you know a struggle for some many just weren't set up to engage virtually with clients and so clients are feeling you know maybe ignored or in advisors you know maybe feeling overworked because they don't have efficient systems in place to engage clients so how are you going to service clients if you don't engage with them virtually and if you don't engage with them how are you not going to become less relevant to your clients so thousands of yeah of advisors are using precise fp every day as an integral part of their practice and i'm so excited to bring dave on the line so he can actually go over and show you how he's using precise fp so dave a little bit about him he's he's a principal advisor at evo advisors a fee only ra firm in richmond virginia he was a 2019-2020 chair of the national association of personal uh financial advisors board or napfun has chaired the nafa public policy committee served on the south region board and numerous napfo working groups and he served on several cfp board committees and continues to work with the cfp board on consumer protections retirement readiness and advancing the financial planning profession well after 18 years with several ge businesses he actually started a fee only financial planning firm in 2006. now before i hand it over to dave i just want to say that he is what we call a precise fp power user he's taken advantage of the many features that precisely has to offer in client engagement going well and above the data gathering that we are best known for he is definitely not afraid of technology and i think you're really going to enjoy what he has to say and what he has to show today and have some really great takeaways at the end so with that dave again welcome thank you so much for joining us today i'm going to go ahead and pass the screen over to you courtney thank you um welcome everybody and thanks for taking time out of your day this is definitely a really busy time of the year for us at evo advisors so i'm assuming the same is true for you and um my hope is that this can be interactive and if you have questions just uh you know post those uh courtney can um throw those out to me and we'll try to get your questions answered as we go through what we're um what we're using um precise fp for in our firm um as courtney said so evo advisors goes back to 2006 we're the product of merger of a couple firms mine and my business partners there are six of us we work with about 140 clients manage over a couple hundred million dollars of our clients assets and we're a financial planning firm first but we are an sec registered investment advisor so my guess is we're dealing with a lot of similar uh challenges to all of you a lot of work a limited number of hours in a week for the the staff within our firm and as courtney pointed out i mean it's 2020 has been a a year that has forced a lot of businesses to address the way that they work and one of the things that has been wonderful about precise fp for our firm is how it fits so nicely with our overall technology stack as well as the client experience that we have always tried to deliver and more importantly the expectations of our clients and here's what i mean by that i mean our clients so the folks that we work with are kind of busy professionals with more than their 401ks to worry about um they're folks who are totally comfortable with you know modern technology right we we all know how easy it is to use amazon or apple products or you know you name it our expectations today are not that we're going to have to drive to somebody's office certainly more so because of covid and then sit down and stare at a pile of paperwork that we have to then review and complete and fill out and sign with a pen that's not what any of us want to do i just refinanced my mortgage back in august like i'm sure many of you and your clients did i never met the folks at the bank i never had paperwork um i was dealing with everything electronically and online except for the very last where they had to send a notary to my house to to sign everything and and i was reminded how far we've come and how precise fp fits into a really effortless client experience that should be part of your overall technology stack and um one that i i hope is uh and pardon me i'm gonna have to minimize my screen just for a moment there there we go uh one one that i hope is gonna resonate with what a lot of you are doing i don't know how many of the folks out on the other side of my computer are also using shareholder service group or ssg as their custodian evo ssg has been our prime custodian from the very start they're a great partner for us just to shout out to my friends my team in san diego as we refer to them they are so very helpful um they have also been extremely good at working with precise fp to get a number of their forms on the precise fp platform as well as providing feedback to our firm as we have developed some additional uh ssg servicing forms we also just a little bit more about our firm that might resonate with you we also use td ameritrade for some legacy clients we have not implemented precise fp for the td ameritrade clients just because we don't have a lot of new forms needed uh a lot of activity with those accounts so let me kind of stop my talking here and talk about this here uh we saved a lot of time and we improved a lot of productivity or we added a lot of productivity we improved quality and we definitely improved the client experience and how we save time isn't just for us but it's also saving time for our clients and that's something that i really find is critical as we think about what our clients expect of us it certainly includes be efficient with my time because i'm busy so i thought i'd take you through a couple real life examples and kind of show you the process flow of before precise fp and after precise fp and oh by the way when did we start using precise fp evo advisors it was just as the pandemic hit we had been looking at it thinking yes we need to do it but just as the pandemic hit was coincidentally the time that we decided that we were going to be implementing precise fp so it's purely coincidence but boy did it help and we were able to go virtual within a week's time we really didn't miss a beat and precise fp was very much part of that so here's something all of us deal with we're meeting with the prospective client we like them we think that they like us they say yes we'd like to be your client we need them to sign an agreement here's the process the virtual process before precise fp in our firm so we open up a word document and then we fill out manually the client agreements we put their names their you know address their assets you know how they're going to pay the accounts that would be managed and so forth we fill all that out in word manual processes are about 97 accurate at best so sometimes you could say we could get even the agreement wrong then we convert that word document into a pdf we then send a secure link to that pdf via email and that's our first step now on the client side they receive our email and then they click on the link and they log into our citrix share file which is where the document would have been stored so they go to citrix share file they access the document and then they have to download it and they have to print they print it and then they have to manually sign it and check off any boxes that might be appropriate to them on the agreement after they've done that we need them to scan it and then we need to go back to citrix share file and we need them to upload it pretty easy right no that's really a pain that's so old-fashioned and it's putting so much of an assumption that our clients are someplace where they have the time to print sign scan upload and that they have a scanner that works and there's nothing in the printer these are all reasons for the clients to put it off and as we all know the more that a client puts something off the more that we have to chase that down with them and the more they have to chase it down the more like or the wave to chase it down the more likely it is that maybe they just will never get around to signing that agreement so we really reduced cycle time this was one of the very important things that we wanted to do is make it really really easy like amazon one click purchase easy after the client and we have agreed yes we'd like to proceed as client and advisor okay here's a link click on it authenticate it sign it and you're done now you're a client and we can move on to everything else by the way after the client uploaded it we then had to access it we had to move it to the final client file so after precise fp well we go into precise fp and we assign the agreement to the client precise fp is integrated with our crm and it's already pulled in all of the information about the client and then we email a secure link to that precise fp form to the client now with the client side they click on that link they authenticated that it's them and they can e-sign the agreement we always suggest to our clients if you have your phone your ipad handy just do it there precise fp has an optimal setting to display the forms very nicely on those mobile devices and it's a lot easier to sign with your finger than it is to sign with your mouse or a track pad on a regular computer but that works pretty well too so after the client e-signs it it's automatically notifying us that the client did we now have that in precise fp we move that to our client file this has significantly reduced the amount of time that we're spending and it's a simpler process and by the way if the client doesn't remember to esign it there's a setting in precise fp that we use that will remind the client with an automated email hey you haven't signed this you might want to take a look at it or give us a call if you have a question so going from a process that was really arduous and put an awful lot of the work onto the client to process that is so quick and easy for the client has resulted in for new clients we have brought on since the pandemic started so it's been an entirely virtual process actually i would argue a faster process than we had when you'd come into our office and you'd sign the agreement or you'd take it home with you so it's it's been a delighter for us and from what we can tell from our prospective clients becoming new clients it's uh removed any roadblock so let's take a look at something else that we all do now we have a client that client has to fill out an account or pardon me they have to sign we have to create all of the forms to set up their accounts at our custodian in our case shareholder service group ssg and think about a typical couple there's um an account that's in both their names whether it's a individual or a tod or a joint or trust account but there's the taxable account generally there's a his and hers ira so we've got two ira adoption agreements maybe there's a his and hers roth so two more maybe there's an inherit account somewhere there just that alone would be six documents and then there are the account transfer forms so for a typical married couple who have a number of accounts that we need to move to shareholder service group we know from our experience over years we're talking about a lot of forms that we're going to need to create and that the client's going to need to deal with so the process before was we would fill them all out in a fillable pdf and again manual processes are at best 97 accurate so i'm sure that all of you have painfully found when you leave a digit off of somebody's social security number or some other vital piece of information is just slightly wrong it start all over again with the client for that form so precise fp is integrated with our crm system and if the data is in the crm it brings the price fp it reduces the amount of time that we spend so we're not wasting our time re-keying data but it's also making sure that it's accurate and that's really important so yes courtney sorry i had a question come in from someone that i thought i would pop in for you here please all right this is from will he asked do you create the client record initially in your crm first and that client record is in your precise fp automatically or do you start in precise fp any pros cons to do it one way or the other uh that's a great question will so since we started using precise fp the first touch point is generally a phone call or an email from a prospective client in other words a stranger or maybe somebody who is referred they're not such a stranger we'll actually first put that into our crm um because at that point we're going to assign um a quick little fact-finding document to send to that client through our crm now precise fp is our conduit for new information from that client what's the name of your spouse what's your address are you saving into your 401k etc etc you know are you retired or you're not retired all of that do you have children so we start with first putting it into our crm just you know will and your last name your phone number your email how we heard from you after that we're using precise fp to collect that data and then populate the crm that's a great question it might not at that point have collected all of the data that we need for all of the custodial forms but it's going to collect a tremendous amount of them i'll also point something out we do not provide our new client with a whole bunch of custodial forms we go through a planning process first so it might be a quarter or longer before the custodial form uh is part of the process so great question thank you and if there any other questions um courtney just interrupt me well someone just asked what crm do you use and is it seamless with precise fp sure good question we are and have been for a number of years using wealthbox crm and it's seamlessly integrated with precise fp we're considering whether it's time that we move up to salesforce and courtney you've got a salesforce integration we sure do and it's two-way sync and it's completely effortless it's uh it's a real delighter and something that i'll just put in plug for the folks at precise fp don whalen and i were talking not so long ago and uh the topic came up about maybe you know for some additional automation and features salesforce would be in our future evo advisors and don pointed out um that the type of integration that already exists between precise fp and these tools could be very helpful as we integrate so or as we if we make the decision to to switch from crm to crm so another hidden uh real benefit of precise fp any others uh someone just popped in with do you need docusign no nope nope never used well haven't used it in our firm uh don't use it don't need it precisely handles it yeah with the with the partnership with ssg they have approved our electronic signature td i will say we also have a partnership with td and schwab they have not accepted our digital signature so in those cases you would have to have docusign so i hope that that clears that up and that was all the questions dave thank you great sure thanks so all right we're back to we're filling out custodial forms we do in the old old way we do it the way that probably most of you do it is we manually key in all the data from one system into another i call it swivel chair you're going from one screen to another and we create all of those forms which you know for six accounts you're looking at at least 12 forms right okay now the client they it's similar to the process we had before we send them a secure link to our citrix share file they access the file they download the file they print the file they update the forms they sign the forms they scan the forms they upload the forms that's a lot and forms plural so they're doing that for like 12 plus forms and for the poor client who doesn't follow the instructions of only print these pages they've ended up printing the entire ira adoption agreement which is quite lengthy for for iras i mean it burns up their printer and it certainly burns them up then we access the forms we review them for accuracy we upload them to ssg's ignite system and then we move them to our permanent file that was tons of paperwork and again we have to remind the client hey have you gotten around to filling these out yet this is a process that the old-school way of doing it of having the client virtually have to remember to do it was very time consuming and and the corollary to this is or the other way to do this is you just print everything out yourself you put those sign here stickers on it you put it in a ups or fedex envelope with the prepaid return you send it to the client and still you've got to pester them basically to fill it all out so moving over to precise fp we assign the forms to the client i'm not going to build this one out just for your time we sign the forms to the client uh little data to enter because of the crm integration as i said we might have to enter like contingent beneficiary information or something like that but the point is we can create these forms fast and then we email a secure link to the client the link is to precise fp to each of the forms the client accesses the form and they in the case of ssg they're authenticating their signature when it's time to sign so there is that two-step process with a two-factor code we always tell our clients that if it's easy it's probably not secure but it's still pretty easy it's what most people expect from two-factor authentication when they have to sign something they e-sign those forms and they immediately get a copy of the completed document which is great from a compliance standpoint we get a notification that you know courtney peake has completed these forms we reviewed them for accuracy we upload them to ssg's ignite system and move them to our permanent file so it's a process that is far simpler for the client it's also simpler for us and the big benefit here i think about the return on the investment which by the way for precise fp is like such a bargain there's no reason not to spend the money on a you know annual subscription to precise fp it's it does so much for so little uh the roi is is just phenomenal but here's a component of the roi that i think we all need to consider it's cycle time it's the time from the time that the client says yes until the time that you have all of the forms completed and that is a waste of time when you're having to follow up with the client it's also not the kind of relationship that i want to establish with a prospective client or an existing client i don't want to be the one who pesters them i want the i want to be the person and the firm who you know provide them with the value every time that we interact and so again precise fp for custodial forms with ssg boy it has been just a dream come true um questions uh no that was it great so let's talk about what we have experienced so a little small print here but the benefits march as i said a million times on this call it's really simplified our life and it's simple life for our clients and for our firm um a total of 174 electronic forms have been completed since march and 63 of our approximately 140 clients have been engaged with precise fp electronic forms so i think that's a lot i think 100 we're not a volume shop um so that's new clients coming on board as uh some prospective clients uh who are you know coming through the pipeline and it's uh custodial forums for new clients and some existing clients we use 23 forms today so we use all six of the precise fp provided ssg forms it's a great starter kit that's why i look at it but because we want our client experience to be simple and electronic and on their ipad or device of choice end to end we created nine more ssg forms and i'll show you those and i'll talk about those because i think that's a really important area to understand but we created eight evo advisors forms and i'll show you what those are so 23 forms we've used them 174 individual times with 63 clients so it's really helped us out it's been a great savings and time and as i pointed out that cycle time with prospective clients and existing clients i put a few asterisks there that is something that we really need to consider and i know precise fp has done a good job of articulating the amount of time that you spend gathering data and you know putting it into a financial planning tool and all of that is true so i'm not going to repeat what you've probably already heard or learned or experienced from precise fp the thing that i would just really stick with is if you can get a really critical and important task done correctly and quickly and much more quickly that's a real value we haven't taken the time to put a dollar sign on it we know it it's a big value so it's worth far more than the cost of the subscription to precise fp i can tell you that we've also had a lot of savings time in creating forms internally and then sharing them and then reviewing them because precise fp integrated with our wealthbox crm means that the forms are generally pretty much finished when we assign it to the client so no more re-keying it and then we don't have to review them as much for accuracy because if the data is accurate at its source it will populate through the forms i want to point out that some of so precise fp comes with an awful lot of forms out of the box um we have only used those six ssg forms they're the only ones of all of the great forms the precise fp created they're the only ones that we use developing forms and precise fp is one of the really important components of this very powerful toolkit some forms are really pretty easy i mean you could learn to do it just by reading precise fp has one of the better uh you know libraries of self-help and i'll say they have phenomenal chat and phone support i have been a frequent flyer on this and by the way the reason i'm giving this webinar is of the six people at evo advisors i've been the one who just ended up owning our precise fp implementation before we hand it off to one of our more junior folks but some of the forms are pretty easy precise fp can absolutely walk you through how to do it but when you get to the custodial forms that requires a bit of skill and so i feel like i've got like a lot of frequent flyer miles with courtney and the support team on hey i'm trying to do x it doesn't work for me how do i do it and they like at the other end of chat solve my problem immediately which really puts their support near the top of the fintech support world so those are some of the benefits and i thought i'd just show you a few screenshots and then we can get into a live demo before i do that courtney any questions from out there yes we had a couple come in someone asked how do you handle adding account numbers to ssg forms um how do we add that so we don't keep account numbers in wealthbox crm no need to for us and we type them in so an example would be a ira adoption form we as a matter of our process we get account numbers before we set up the accounts so we would type in you know courtney's ira account number into that form in precise that's a fp question awesome and then someone asked so if you're preparing 12 engagements for this new client does the client receive 12 engagement emails and have to authenticate 12 times the client receives one email from us because we copy the links and use so here's the way that an email would work dear courtney um you know hope you're having a great week as we discussed we're putting together all of the forms that are necessary to establish your accounts at rs at our custodian ssg pershing and um then transfer your accounts over from you know jones um we are you know asking you to please review the following forms and then e-sign the more indicated uh and then i'll put under it bullets like account registration form um ira adoption form now for each of these i i we my team actually i'm not the one who's doing it we put a hyperlink on the words of the form so you would like courtney would then click on ira adoption form and it would launch that form in precise fp she would authenticate to get into it in the case of a joint account where two signatures two account holders need to initial or sign the head of household is going to go in first and authenticate and sign and then the co-head of household or the spouse i guess is the chairman precise fp will go and authenticate so we do let them know that when we send them the email and with very very few exceptions no one's had any issues with doing that good question so they get one email from us we're not using the automatic generated emails from precisely for that just because we really like to make it simple and customize it for the client okay and then yeah somebody asked us if we're gonna um if there's a timeline or a plan to get the rest of the ssg forms into precise fp and i will say that is going to be something that we are going to be looking into and discussing for our roadmap of 2021. uh i found out it's harder harder to do than to say yeah um and then someone asked you dave why not just send the engagement directly out of precise fp because we're generally sending a number of forms for sign for signature um and when we have found that it's a lot easier for anybody to receive one email with five links in it than five emails also because we're generally covering other stuff in that email um not a tremendously long email but we just find that by sending the link in our own email it's coming from you know like cecilia fleming at evo advisors and you know cecilia and she's going to follow up on the meeting that you just had and talk about what we're going to do next and what you're going to do next and this is one of those things so that's why we're doing it the way we do it your process may be different and the precise fp gives you that flexibility to work the way that you like to work great and then uh just continuing on the um question about asking our timeline for the rest of the ssg forms um this person asked if they can create the forums in precise fp and use docusign for the forms to be signed by the client i just want to state that ssg pershing has approved our e-signature so you can actually recreate the custodial forms for ssg impersonates fp like dave's about to show you that he did and you can actually use our e-signature for those so hopefully that helps and that appears to be all of the questions right now dave cool okay uh here's just a snapshot of my precise fp screen when i look at my templates these are all the forms that we've created now we've got the ssg logo up there uh just to make them consistent for our own use with the precise fp created ssg forms but the ones that say evo advisors are our own forms we've got from the top left you know getting to know you which is you're a stranger and we literally just want to give you one quick little questionnaire to complete before we have uh an introductory meeting with you we've talked with you for 10 15 minutes on the phone we'd like to spend a little bit more time talking with you but before we do we want you to answer a few questions if you can't answer a few questions before we meet with you that tells us something about you so we've created that one we've got a new client questionnaire and checklist which is now you've signed an agreement now here's all the stuff that we're going to want from you it gives us all that great data that allows us to you know automatically fill all of those uh important forms that precise fp creates for us we have our agreement we've got one for couples and one for an individual just so that they don't have to see like you know co-client signature if you're single might be nicer not to be reminded of that or maybe it's really nice to be reminded of that i don't know um we also as you go to this segment we've got our investment policy statement we have our incapacity form um and then as you see with the ssg forms we've done a letter of instructions because hey they're always the same and this is if you're transferring assets from an individual to a joint account just standard language that ssg needs but then the others are forms that are absolutely ssg pdfs that we have imported into precise fp and then updated our data set to reflect the unique fields that that particular ssg form includes and then we map those fields in our form to the ssg form so that it populates the ssg form the way that it should be so we've got asset movement form change of address but then you get down to the bottom row inherited ira adoption form that's a tough one ira distribution request a tod agreement stock donation form etc so all of the things that we have had to use a form for at ssg this year with a couple rare exceptions because they were such rare forms i hadn't used manures we have decided before we go paper or the old process we will take the time and invest the time and create this in a precise fp form i will point out i have an i.t background um it's been a while so i my learning curve was pretty steep but i could rely on some things that i knew uh i leaned heavily on the precise fp team to help guide me and answer questions when i forgot to do something right uh it's also imperative that when you create your own forms you have an internal acceptance testing process where you have somebody else in your firm or if you're solo you know somebody else trusted person go through the client process and and you actually test this out with somebody who's not you to make sure that this works flawlessly and then make sure that the for the form that's created especially with these custodial forms is created just right and you got to try all different permutations so this is a really important component so that when your client fills out a form from a compliance standpoint what you receive is what they intended because if you don't properly configure the form you could end up with something that is just of no use to you or the client and i thought i'd just show you a couple more screenshots before we go live um some useful things that i found in precise fp this is our getting to know you form and i'm in the what the client would see and by the way client name here it would say courtney peake or don whalen or whoever the client is but they fill in that information they fill in their email they fill in their email type their mobile phone home phone and then what they don't see where it says evo internal we like to find out you know are you retired or are you working because if you're working then we want to ask you are you saving into your retirement plan at work and so this allows us through the term allowed values to internally toggle how much the client sees when they open up a form so we can hide or display certain questions that we want and this to me is really one of the most useful things we've got in almost all of our evo forms and here's another one and pardon me i've got to put my control panel down so i can show this to you another useful feature are these custom emails and there was a question earlier about this while we don't have the initial link emailed by precise fp what we do is have a periodic reminder email for some forms and almost always have a thank you email set this is really important for a couple purposes one it's nice when you complete something in addition to what's displayed on your screen like think about when you order online hey it's the holiday season we're all doing online ordering you can see on screen you know thank you for your order your confirmation number is precise fp provides that and we'll also say click here you can download that form it's also nice to also get the confirmation in your email because some people just manage their life through email so this is a really helpful piece there's something else that's helpful uh for our new client agreement when the client signs it it automatically sends them a link to our adb our privacy policy our form crs so it is compliant built into the process and and this is a really useful piece and you can customize the way that that email looks and reads enable it and disable it at the client engagement level so another one that i thought was real helpful before i move on to a live demo i thought it would be helpful just to ask what do you all want to see there was a question that came through dave that i thought i'd let you know here um todd asked does ssg take the ach setup documentation this way which i think needs avoided check um so we've worked with shareholder service group for [Music] 12 plus years and um you would need to discuss the way that they need to work with your form with pardon me with your firm we do not need to provide a physical hard copy of way to check we are providing void a check and we're keeping that yeah so somebody um said that they would like to see how the client signs and then it gets automatically sent to ssg uh well we send we upload to ignite we always nothing is sent automatically from precise fp to ssg and i would argue you don't want that right you as the you're an ria firm you're part of the quality assurance process here so once a client e-signs then you want to um review it i'm going to show you with the prospective client here who happens to be my dog his name's ranger he's a brittany and i'm going to look at all of the engagements that we have tested with my dog okay so let's take a look at the inherited ira adoption agreement hoping that this is one that we tested and it worked sometimes we just leave broken tests here let's take a look this is what the client sees so this is when they first click the link there's a little welcome and by the way i am using ssg kind of template language when i created this i wanted it to look as much like the regular ira adoption agreement as possible and then they see the entire ira adoption agreement there and then they get to the part where they can see what they can fill in or what we have already pre-populated somebody asked how do we handle account numbers we had already plugged this account number in there it's totally made up our ria number what type of ira it is the student name this is probably something you don't have in your crm so that all goes in anything else you know it's mostly generally populated but one thing that's important to look at you know the ssg form asks are you know rmd information what type is it non-spouse successor beneficiary that's stuff that you're going to need to know how to properly configure within precise fp i'd call this the 300 level class so you go in and complete as much as you can for the prospective client pardon me for the client they're going to see all of this and then i can't e-sign this one because it's already been e-signed but they would come over here and they would sign it okay um brittany barley brittany uh you know would just sign here after authenticating to get into this engagement in the first place uh courtney am i explaining that part of the process right yeah you are okay okay um and then when they finish they get this thank you for completing and they can download the document themselves let me show you what it looks like in our end e-signatures this shows that it's been finished it was completed two months ago usually would see and this was completed 12 hours ago or 20 minutes ago so we would download it okay just downloaded two documents what did it download here we go so this has downloaded the ira adoption agreement i'm just going to scroll past all of the stuff that's standard ssg we've uploaded the pdf into precise fp when we created this form so you only have to do that that one time and then precise fp populates the ssg form at the very end of it well in this case there we go there's the client signature if you're signing on a trackpad or with the mouse you know it doesn't always look like your signature so there's that we upload this to ignite after we review to make sure it was completed properly because sometimes clients will check boxes that they shouldn't check or uncheck boxes that you did check and then you have to call them and say did you mean to do that because that's not the form that we want you to finish and then you have to ask them to do it again it's also precise fp is also creating this certificate of completion that shows when the engagement was created opened when the digital signature was added when it was completed and it has the ip address and all of this in conjunction with the pdf which at my end you can't see i think they call it the blue band at ssg appears at the top of the document which is a signature verification that pershing also looks at these two documents get uploaded to ignite and that's the end that we have to deal with this it's a great question somebody asked do you still have to print the forms for the advisor signature on the ssg account app no we don't um great question let me open one that is simpler here let's actually go over to the forms let's go to [Music] the custodial templates let's go to an account opening because that requires my signature um whoops and uh oh dear i need to assign this to somebody so let me go back to the prospects and let me go to barley brittany let me go create an engagement i'm going to create an edit because i don't want it automatically sent and i'm going to select the account opening and continue so here's a live example of one of the more entailed custodial documents and um you know we would say what type of brokerage it is it's already filled in all of the information for the client's address and their spouse if needed we would fill in the registration types because at this point we're the only ones who know it i'm going to get to the part here where i would sign i think it's down here yeah you'd have to click on that configure button um for the forums we already have it yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so that's my signature and my name and we can also go in and change that to we only let our firm's owners sign these at this point but you could have a number of different advisor signatures names that you can configure for that form so courtney you want me to show you how show everybody how you do that yeah if you could so you just have to do this at the um the template level so you would go to the custodial forms again and you would click on the ssg form and then you'll click on that configure button and that's where you enter in because somebody also asked how do you put in the ra number right there right there and right here and you just have to i mean currently it's uh we just again we're not a volume shop so it's not like we change this multiple times a day um but that is how you would change it if you wanted to have different people sign in different people's names for this form pretty quick so you change change upload come over to your client select the client create an edit select the form that you want and your changes would be available in that form okay uh got about nine minutes uh let's cover any other questions people have yeah this one somebody is asking do you use precise fp for existing clients to update information that you don't have in-house for a review no but that's not a bad idea we'll put that in our idea bin yeah i i will say just to kind of piggyback off of that we do see a lot of advisors who do that what they'll do is if they have existing clients in like their crm or financial planning software what they'll do is they'll kind of use precise fp sort of like a presentation tool if you will so they'll do the import in from said application and then present the client with that engagement it fills out with the data that you already have on file automatically um and then the client can see what's on file they can make changes to it if they need to um and the nice thing is when the client goes through and um is finished in precise fp in their profile we actually highlight what they've done so you can easily see you know if they made a change or they added in brand new data and that can go back with a click of a button back over to like your crm or financial planning software um the same person also asked you dave um have you moved away from sharefile completely or do you use both systems with clients we don't use sharefile with our clients directly the way that we used to that's a really helpful question because sharefile is where we as a firm house all of our documents everything that we've done with the client their statements their tax returns everything is there um we are a black diamond user and um use their portal so clients can upload documents that are totally outside of the precise fp kind of sphere like you know your tax return or your new mortgage statement or your property and casualty declaration pages all of those things that you don't want to send over email they just drag drop into the client portal that is connected to a folder for them in citrix share file so that's the source where we use precise fp with clients is for forms all right um somebody asked if persuasive p offers any services to help with custom form creation and i will say yes we do a couple ways that we can help you like dave mentioned we've got the live chat um we've got support available to you from monday through friday 9 a.m to 6 p.m eastern time we're always happy to to help there we've got a knowledge base where you can find answers there we have webinars throughout the week we've got a youtube channel that's got some videos we also offer what we call success coaching sessions where we can get on a screen share with you go over any questions comments concerns that you may have and then we do we we do have a service um it's an additional cost um where we would if you've got like an idea or like a pdf or a word document that you've been using you want that converted to a precise fp template um that service starts at 299 so if that's something that you're interested in just send us a chat message we can talk about that with you and give your proposal and all of that usually takes our team about two to three business days to create a form in your account for you so that's ready to go um the success coaching sessions are free unlimited if great question on that and somebody also asked what is the monthly cost of precise fp so the monthly cost starts at 60 per month and that includes access for one user you would pay for additional user licenses at a discounted rate so if you've got another advisor support person admin etc you can add them in an extra 30 per month per user and then for additional um the first 100 client and prospect accounts are included in that cost as well and each additional 100 after that would be an extra 10 per month per 100 um hopefully that answered your questions um other than that everything else is included in the cost so the support the um the solutions that we provide all of that is included in the cost so i know i kind of touched on that briefly in the beginning um the integrations that's all included as well dave i i'm gonna if you don't mind i'm gonna take the screen back because somebody asked us about our integration partners um i just wanted to show everybody that because i think it's
