hello once more and welcome back to what I hope will be a good old two minutes Tuesday not particularly one for business owners per se this week but some it will help you if you are a business owner who signs a lot of paperwork you know there's people who when you ask them to sign something well they bring the document out they'll fill it back in sign it and then they'll scan it back in and then email it back to you please don't be one of those so in this video we are going to be focusing on Mac users specifically PC users your time will come I'll drop a link right here and in the comments below of course to the mirror image of this video that tells you all about signing from a PC so if you are a Mac then let us continue our important work so let's put two minutes on the clock oh it's been so long and let's get straight into it so for Apple Macs all you need to do is use the built-in software to sign them electronically you don't need to download extra software you don't need Adobe PDF reader like many people think I mean you can use Adobe PDF but this time we're just focusing on free software that comes with your Mac so we're looking at the built in software called preview so you want to take your PDF open up in preview on the Mac if you're not sure what preview is then there's a couple of different ways to get into it firstly if you just highlight the PDF by clicking on it once tapping the spacebar and then actually bring you up a preview of the document that you can then open in preview all you do is then click on open with preview in the top right hand corner to fully open the file and then the other way of course is to right click open with preview or you could just double click on the file that would just be easier really wouldn't it so now you're in preview all you need to do is click on the pen icon in the top right hand corner and then click on this icon which is the signature icon if this is the first time you've done this then you'll need to create your first signature and here you can either use your trackpad to create your signature by drawing you can use your camera which will allow you to sign your signature on a piece of paper and then use the camera on your map to scan it in or you can use your iPhone to create your signature by drawing it on your iPhone is pretty clever once your signature is now created all you need to do is literally click on it drag it to where you need to be and maybe change the size a bit say the document and you're done now you have your fully signed file all you need to do is open your favorite email application attach the file and literally that is it away you go there's no more attaching ridiculously scanned in copies because nobody needs that mess so anyway I think think we might have beaten that two minutes totally had to record two or two new versions just I honestly have no idea you know when I was signing a lease document recently the document was printed signs scans then emailed to the second party who then printed signed scanned and then he made the document to me and by the time it got to me was barely readable because every time you're scanning this in the quality just done isn't there it just degrades every single time anyway and as I said early in this video if you are a PC and not a Mac then all you need to do is look for the video where I tell you how to do the exact same thing but on a PC and it'll be right here and link in the description below of course anyway thanks again for watching like subscribe all the things see the next one bye bye [Music] you
