so an issue that I've found when making timelines and m'aimes on a Grass Valley switcher is sometimes you will have a part of the timeline that isn't exactly what you want here it's edpm primary and I actually want that to be macros and it doesn't match with the rest of the timeline so there's actually a setting under user setups sweet prefs and then mm prefs in this menu is how you actually select what attributes under recall run in your email timeline are gonna be labeled as so here macros on my switcher is being controlled by edpm primary which actually isn't a thing that exists on the switcher and i want it to be miscellaneous ten which is actually labeled as macros so if I just build macros into my timeline it's not gonna know that I'm actually referring to macros it's whatever I have selected here under this menu which could totally screw somebody up who has no idea that this is hiding here so here for example if I already have a timeline built with the wrong thing talking to macros it doesn't matter if I change it back to macros and mmm preps it's not gonna know that I'm talking to them because I already haven't built as edpm primary talking to macros so here you can see it just doesn't even know that I'm talking to macros so as I go through these keyframes nothing is gonna register now if it's already built like this the only way I can actually make it work again is to go back to mem prefs menu change it back to whatever it was when I built it and now it'll actually register that I have macros built there now the options I had to fix this are to either rebuild the timeline completely or just rebuild part of it and then marry that to the existing mmm which isn't exactly as easy as copying and pasting alright so the process of actually changing an attribute in an e mem timeline first it's really important that I take off auto recall so that I don't actually recall the entire timeline as it is when I do this so I deselect everything else and then select macros and now I have to save just the part of this timeline that I want to add on to this so I save it to the register that I want it to be married to and then I go and turn back on auto recall and now when I actually reload this mm it's gonna load back everything that I had before which is edpm primary and devices but now I'm able to deselect edpm primary select macros now that it'll actually be on the right register and marry them together and to do that I'm gonna hold learn an auto recall also note that you have to be out of mmm edit mode to actually be able to do...
