today I'm going to show you how to program an ID X ma 800 coin back the first thing you need to do is remove the cover just lift it straight up and then on the inside of the coin mech you're gonna see a small rotary dial that's normally in the zero position we're going to turn that clockwise one one click to the number one location and we're gonna feed it six examples of a u.s. quarter which is 25 cents per coin so for the 25 cents we're going to depress this small push button next to the rotary dial one time for denoting 25 cents and you heard it click then we replace the cover over the Mac to make sure no external light gets in and we're gonna feed the coin Mac the six different samples of the US quarter okay then we remove the cover and we turn the dial back to the zero position now it has learned the u.s. quarter we're also going to feed it some tokens so we're gonna turn the rotary switch two clicks clockwise to the number two location and we're going to program the tokens for one dollar so that's going to be four clicks of the push button and again you can hear the Mac click when you press the button we'll replace the cover and I've got my six samples of tokens so we'll feed those in okay we'll remove the cover and then turn the rotary dial back to zero and now the coin mech has learned those two coins so to prove it out so we're gonna go ahead and check our work we're gonna feed it one single quarter which you'll hear the alarm on the timer beat one time for a single coin and there we did program that part right now we're gonna feed it a token which again is worth one dollar or four beats on the horn so we'll listen for that and there we program that correctly so it's fairly simple to do now in the case where you have to deprogram you just remove the cover once again and we're gonna wipe out the settings for the token in this case so we're gonna turn the rotary dial back to the number two location and then we're gonna hit the push button one single time and then we're gonna turn the rotary dial back to zero and now location two should no longer be programmed to accept the token so let's replace the cover and we're gonna go ahead and feed it a token and the token should be rejected out the front of the coin back and it was there was no credit given it fell out the front of the coin back see the ma 800 is a fairly simple device to program thanks for watching you
