What type of field allows me to eSign my PDF with my finger?

airSlate SignNow allows users to sign documents in three different ways: typing, drawing, or uploading an image of their signature. To choose one of them, you need to upload a PDF and open it in the editor. After that, click on the My Signature field and select the drawing option. A pop-up window where you need to sign documents with your finger will appear; click Ok and adjust the field until you like it. Once you’re happy with it, apply the changes by clicking Save and Close.

What's my electronic signature?

According to ESIGN, an eSignature is any symbol associated with a signer and confirms their consent to eSign something. Thus, when you select the My Signature tool in airSlate SignNow, the symbol you draw, the last name type, or the image you upload count as your signatures. Any electronic signature made in airSlate SignNow is legally-binding. Unlike a digital signature, your eSignature can vary. A digital signature is a generated code that you can use to sign a document and verify yourself like a signer but has very strict requirements for how to make and use it.

How can I electronically sign a PDF document on my phone?

Sign a PDF document using the airSlate SignNow mobile app. Go to the App Store or the Google Play store and download the app. Create an account or sign in with your login credentials. Upload a document and tap My Signature to add an eAutograph. Draw your signature or add one of your existing ones. Tap Done and save the changes.
