hey guys this is Lea with Scotland marketing and in today's video I'm going to show you how you can edit a previously signed document in DocuSign okay so on this side tip we will assume that your document has already been signed so I am in my DocuSign room and if you're not familiar on how to get to DocuSign that is real estate DocuSign comm so the first part of my URL here at the top so again that's real estate DocuSign comm and once you're in your DocuSign room here so it shows right here that I have this document already signed so you'll see this nice little icon confirming this one weapon has been signed and to the right of it I see my original document okay so this is the original form that I pulled in my DocuSign room if I open that up it does not have any signatures but it is the editable version meaning if I can click on that I will be able to type in the form right away okay so see this is the editable version of the form however you can see that is not signed okay however if I were to click on the signed copy of the form I can see that is not editable okay so there's a signature for my seller for my client so it is not an editable form because it has already been signed okay so long with that I also have this certification that gets added to my DocuSign room once a form is signed and that will show any confirmation of the signing and the timestamp and the IP address that was signed from can show that that was legally signed correctly okay so if you need to go about editing a document once it's already been signed how you would do that is we'll go ahead go ahead and pull up the sign to version of the document so where we have signed right here we'll go ahead and pull up that document right because we don't want to raise any signatures we just want to make edits to a previously signed document in this example okay so from what we'll do from here again I can't just click to start editing that I'll need to come up to the document actions by clicking on the icon that kind of looks like a sheet of paper with the top corner folded in click on that on the top right and you'll want to go this DocuSign option okay a lot of times when you see that pin pay your pencil that means to edit so you can think of that so we'll click on DocuSign to edit this further and that will take us on over to the envelope section okay so in order to make any changes to this document right since it's already been signed your clients would have to sign for any changes so with...
