okay this video we are in the electronic consultant program which is a complete in home sales and proposal solution where you can offer good better best proposals and track sales and do job costing do just about everything not too many people know this but over the past year or so past two years we've met we've made some enhancements to the program where we've put in a report generator area where as you can see I've gone into the reports section of the program you can get there by just by going to reports on the menu bar and then report generator and it brings you up to this the screen that sort of looks like Microsoft Word the whole purpose of this area is to generate a template for you or for your company that you can print off whether you're doing a good better best whether you want to fit all three systems on one page or do three separate templates or just do one system you can do that as you can see I have a blank template pulled up here where I could start from scratch I could put my company logo and letterhead up there I could put a proposal table I could put an option table from there and we do have a manual on the website that sort of explores how to do different areas of the program as far as putting in proposal tables in different fields but what I'm gonna do I'm gonna go ahead and open if you go to file and open you're gonna see all of these templates that you have available now I'm going to open up the template from a company here in my area that it has has recently done a template as you can see it's very clean very nice simple a lot of white area but as you can see they put in a a company logo some bolded font up here now what you'll notice is for instance in customer name here they put in a field so what in the when you're in the program and you type in your customer name this double underline is going to populate that customer name now I'm gonna back this out and I'm gonna show you how to do it so you'll see here we have different fields if you want to populate a cash discount a city a date in this case a name so I'm going to choose name I'm going to put insert data fields now you're gonna see that name appear there for instance email if I get rid of this if you want to populate their email there you choose email now email will populate so when you type that into your customer information screen you're gonna see the email populate in that field now what they've done here is they've put in a proposal table so when you add an air-conditioner a pad a line set flue venting furnace whatever you're adding to the system labor rebates it's gonna show up in this box on here so I'm gonna go ahead and delete this box and this is proposal table now I need to tell it which system I'm using so system one I'm going to insert a proposal table now this table is gonna populate with anything that I add to the proposal at the same time I can format that at that table this is pretty similar to Microsoft Word if I want to make my border color black I can choose ok and now that border is gonna be black if I want to make my width really thick I'm just gonna change all these to 50 now I have a really thick border that's gonna list all of my equipment your optional accessories are the same thing that's your option table and again I really stress you'll see these buttons here system 1 2 & 3 those determine which equipment you're adding to that system if I come down here to total investment you'll see that I already have some fields pre-loaded in here so my investment is gonna be my total cost now when I come in to my drop downs I have a few different options my total cost - my down payment down payment - rebate total cost total cost I'm just going to add total cost for system one my rebates you're gonna populate and then it's gonna subtract my down payment and rebates to get to that final amount again as you can see in the drop down there's plenty of different options as far as financing down payments do you have for a down payment percentage a cash cash discount is there an install address you can populate the proposal however you want and again this example that I've gone through it is somebody here in my area who requested that we do a template based off of what they were working on and it's pretty common template and it is located in the program I've seen numerous ways of creating proposals within the system whether you're fitting all three on one page whether you have a one-page proposal whether you have a four page proposal with one page being exclusions and inclusions and warranties or optional upgrades you can do just about anything within the program and this program is the report generator which is included in the electronic consultant there is a lot more power to the program unfortunately with the length of the video I won't be able to get into that much detail again we do have the manual online that that will help you out at the same time if you're signed up for a support plan or if you do purchase a program we can replicate any proposal that you want if I come in here you'll see some of the sample proposals that that we've done there's hundreds in here that that we've generated for other companies that we can pick and choose from if you would like to see some some different examples feel free to email me it's support at add Tech's Ofcom i can send you some samples of what we've done we can branch off of that here's one that I've opens just a two-page proposal you have a big company letterhead up at the top with some color your basic generic company information your equipment is going to be added we have a sales process in itself where you create a proposal and then you say look we're gonna we're including a new pad we're including a new condensate pump we're gonna install to the manufacturer specs our workers are going to wear booties we're going to have all this stuff included and then they don't see the price until the second page which again is another sales process in itself as you can see that and then you have your signature lines at the bottom of page two so again there's there's many templates already preloaded into the program that you can customize or you can go in and edit and at the same time we offer the service as long as you're signed up for support or you're signed up for the program if you purchase it that's included so if you're currently using a certain proposal we're gonna replicate that and we're going to give you the option to sort of streamline your process to where you're used to a proposal that you're using okay now let's get it in the program and it's gonna be the same same deal across the board if you have questions or again if you want to see any of the other templates that I've created for some of the other companies they give me permission to pass those along our phone number here is eight one five four five two two three four five the email address here is support at add tech soft calm thank you
