even attempt to say the name because I do not want to butcher it our just posted here that they wanted to know they wanted me to elaborate on how to live streaming event and only let paid users watch it so there are multiple ways to do this so let's start with YouTube so if I come in here and say I want to go live alright so we are coming here and I'm a block out all the stuff that you're not supposed to see so I would create a new stream and you can call it whatever you want to but what I would do here is make it unlisted so this is will be paid live extreme test alright I would make it unlisted unlisted means that it's not gonna show up on my channel no matter what anybody tries to view private is only I can see it no one else to see it but unlisted is it will still function just like you would on YouTube but no one can see it the only people who can see it are the people with that list they link to it now inherently depending on the platform people can circumvent this so if somebody pays for this link to get to it nothing is stopping them from sharing it with other people because currently to my knowledge I don't have access if they have it a way of having a rotating URL so that one URL goes to one person each and is verified that way there's no way inherently that I know of that's built into YouTube that handles that way or Vimeo so that's just one issue with this so let's go ahead we're gonna go ahead and create this stream and I'm gonna leave these streams up so that y'all can test this whole thing and again I'm not gonna link it to a paid model but it's just a way to show you how to do this alright so Mikey is hitting all this other good stuff so what I'm gonna do is take the share link so this is the link to my stream that's gonna be locked down now one way I would suggest to do this is to set up a free account with Eventbrite so I'm here and I'm making a new account because I actually have one of these for my church so I don't want to mix this stuff with that so so let me speed through all this alright so finally got through all that now let's go ahead and create an event now remember we still have that URL from the YouTube page that we got here so let's go back here and we'll ask a few questions to start building your event you build it yourself yes I'm just gonna do this is uh I just do other patreon event venue online event and I'm gonna say the event starts the day I'm recording it which is this their teeth and I'm just gonna let this go all day how about that I'll say it starts at 2:00 and when does he have bent end I'll say it in 7 o'clock all right in this East Coast time alright so we've just knew next so it's gonna build its event right there now basically this is a paid event so let me go ahead and edit some stuff here alright so let's go over here to tickets we're gonna create a ticket and it's going to be a paid ticket what's the quantity I'll say 100 and well you know it what I'm gonna do is actually make this free so that way obviously y'all not paying me I mean I could put it for $10 and y'all can pay me to do that if you want to but I'll just what I do is how about this I'll put it as a donation in that way you could put whatever you want if you want to do that alright so I want to simulate how this would be as if you're actually paying for something alright so we'll go ahead and do save and now what's your currency set all that fun stuff up and I want to go so let's go to our order form take us instructions to attendees message to display after the ticket sale ends so this is where you can put the link to the video if you want it to all right you know registration time limit how many times before you can get to it I mean that's fine actually countdown when people get ready to pay or whatever collect information from buyers only customized checkout questions activate a group activation blah blah blah I mean this is real simple you can add way more to this so I'm thinking in comparison so say that you're doing a conference at your church or something like that and your last remit but you don't it's a paid conference so you could actually offer this in this method that way that hey if you can't come you can offer on-site tickets as well as tickets for if you're buying this type of ticket something like that alright so let's go ahead and save that that was the confirmation after registration of your event attendees will see an on screen message until they navigate away so this is where maybe I need to go back and change that so for something like that hoping that people won't share it but again this is inherently when you using these type of tools this is what you're limited to all right a printable ticket on all orders no don't need that because it's digital let's go back here and go to the order phone when we got to make sure we take this out because that's after you missed the time we don't need to put anything there and that's really it so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna bring up I'm gonna bring up this video and music that I have looping here on OBS and what I'm gonna do is go back to this live stream that we're setting up and I'm a copy this code out and I'm gonna paste this here so when you go to this you'll actually be seen this video that I'm streaming I got to be careful just cuz I'm live streaming so YouTube you can only livestream one thing at a time but Vimeo you can actually have multiple so actually I should've did this with Vimeo instead uh now while this is doing I did have multiple other ways that I was doing this I'm I've done this through a plug-in on our WordPress website that's another way that you can do it and you can avoid all of this because when they purchase this given membership of this item this ticket you can change their profile on the account so they're the only ones they can see the giving page I'll do that in another video because that's gonna take way longer than this alright so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead and go live with this right now so when you go through this link unless you copied the link from watching this you would not be able to get to it unless you went through this do you reveal it so what I'm gonna do is go through my church's page and actually let me publish the event first so you can actually see it I'll say publish now so I really wanted to put some more details and all this other stuff in here which I probably will do let's go back to the churches one we're gonna do ticket we're gonna do a one dollar donation we're gonna check out and they added a dollar and 777 feet that way you know so let me fill this stuff out and there's your countdown alright so I pay for the event off camera so you didn't see all my stuff here so and my email just hurt went off so let me go ahead and open my email all right so this is the email that I got your confirming my donation and ticket and all that other stuff it would keep scrolling down there is join us here you know and there's the link to get to it so let me go to incognito page there's the link now let me just make sure as you see it's unlisted so if I go here to my regular page that's the most recent little ooh that's the most recent video but as you can see it's not listed at all you can't see it I'm the only one who's gonna be able to see that or whoever's clicking on the link now also what you would do is see on the confirmation page here's the link as well - now this one isn't clickable but it is there that you see on the confirmation page as well as the email now thinking about it might not even want to conclude this on the confirmation page but just only included in the email that you get so that's honestly the easiest way I believe that you can do that I will come back with another video on how to do this for like your a website directly to get around us because I think that would actually be easier excuse me it would be easier logistically but it would take more to set that up compared to just running with an event bright or something that's already set up to manage that now again I used this with YouTube but you could always use this with
