thank you for viewing this brief overview of to your rescue software you'll see that Tyr is powerful yet very easy to use when you log in you arrive at this home screen which remains open until you completely exit the application the home screen is your launching pad for all t yr s features and functions the modules buttons take you directly to the control center for every important function customization features enable you to tailor important aspects of the system to your specific needs such as creating pick lists of specific animal types vaccinations types health procedures and so on for use on various screens throughout the application you can also add your organization's information and logo to the home screen and attach documents videos photos and important notes the reminders section shows the number of reminders awaiting your attention and gives you direct access to specialized screens where you can record the completion of those tasks the administration section speaks for itself so let's move on and explore some of Tyr s powerful features starting with the animals module when I clicked the animals button I launched the control center for everything related to animals in the center grid is a sortable list of every animal currently in your care you can also view a list of former residents that are no longer in your care to the right of the center grid are buttons related to health features like vaccinations medical procedures and health reports to add a new animal just click the new animal button to launch an intake screen where you can enter all the animals important basic information and even attach a photo once you have saved the intake record you can add the animals health related information simply by selecting the animal in the center grid and then clicking the various animal health buttons on the right for example if you want to show the rabies vaccination information simply select the animal click the vaccinations button to launch a screen that shows all vaccinations already recorded for that animal and then click the new vaccinations button to add the new one you can also add important information for reports such as behavior characteristics important to potential adopters you can create your own unique list of behaviors for each type of animal when you set up your system you can also run various searches and queries from this screen as well as from the home screen from the animal screen you can quickly access both the home screen and the people screen so let's look at the people screen next you can also access this screen directly from the Tyr home screen it's your control center for all activity related to the entities associated with your rescue efforts we call these PCOS and they include individuals companies and organizations other animal rescues shelters and sanctuaries animal hospitals and veterinary clinics the screen is laid out much like the animals screen with a sort of a list of all active people records in the center grid and function buttons on the right from this screen you can create a new PCO record and then associate that PCO with various animal related transactions like surrendering fostering and adoption and other transactions like donations events volunteering and membership you're able to attach files like photos and videos to existing PCO records and you can quickly view a complete history of every transaction a PCO has had with your organization what more important item we'll look at is just how easy it is to handle a reminder in the reminders section on the home screen you can quickly see there are two vaccinations or procedures that need to be done so let's click that button and see what they are the system has highlighted one of the procedures in red to let you know it's past due so as soon as you've cleaned Roscoe's ears you can record the information simply by selecting the vaccination or procedure clicking the complete reminder button and entering and saving the data the reminder would then disappear from the screen from this reminders screen you can also view and print a list of future vaccinations and procedure reminders simply by clicking the print reminder list I can choose a date range let's look at all reminders in the system and we can see them here with their related notes I can print this and use it in any way I need to as you can tell we've barely scratched the surface of Tyr s capabilities if you're interested in learning more simply click the free demonstration button below this video or go to the web address shown here or if you're ready to purchase Tyr click the Buy Now button thanks for watching you
