hello today I'm going to show you how to add exhibits and enclosures to existing documents within the system to do so I'm going to illustrate that by showing you how to do it on a transcript so from your case homepage you're going to go to the top navigation bar click on build your case and click on the transcripts button now we're in our transcript page looking at the transcripts within our case so say I'd like to add an X in it to the existing entry for James Barksdale I'm going to click on edit that's going to bring a pop up with the information about this deposition I'm going to scroll all the way down you can see here on the left of this pop-up screen it says number of exhibit slash enclosures I'm going to click on the plus sign now it's going to create a new exhibit and here if I knew the tab number I could type that in or I can click on the search slush upload then it's going to bring up this pop-up the search tab is in blue so this is what we're in and we can now search our key documents so say that I know that my exhibit was something about you know competitive I remember that being in the the title you can see here that it gives you what came up relating to that word so this is the exhibit I'm looking for I'm gonna click the box you can see now that tab 31 has been populated as exhibit 5 I can hit close and that's their say that instead of the document being in the system I wanted this to be a document for me to bring into the system so click on search slash upload click on create new tab that's now highlighted in blue so now you know that you're working with creating a new tab and now you have these nice fields to enter in with information about the document you'll be uploading to the system we're gonna give it a title we're going to choose our file you can click the type of file it is if you know the base ranges you can enter those in if you'd like this document to be linked to a specific custodian you can click the drop down for the custodians for the date you're going to enter in the date with the year of a month and then the day for the time if you know the time you can enter it in as the example shows here or if you don't you can simply write 0 0 p.m. that will work if we scroll down a little bit we can also enter in this information if we know the from the to the CC or the BCC as well you click on submit and that document has now been given to that number tab number 181 this document will also be available within your key documents as well so we could search that or we can go over here and type in to have won 8-1 close out of this screen now we can click on update transcript and as you can see here those exhibits have been added this was the document that was in the system this was the document that we had uploaded into this and again if we just click on this edit one more time the way that we added these documents in this is also the way that you would bring these documents into the system if you were uploading the transcript at that time as well so if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us you can do so via telephone through intercom at the bottom of your screen or through this icon right here which will direct you right to our help website I hope that this video has been helpful thank you and have a great day
