Fax beholder byline
hello in this video I will be showing you how to install your fax board on your Rico MPC 4503 the same works for a 3503 2503 5503 and so forth so if it looks like this it should pretty much work the same but you're going to need it your fax board which is right here this is the fax where we will be installing for this installation you're going to need a regular Phillips screwdriver and a flat head and I'll explain why we need a flathead it's not necessary but it makes it a little easy to in the process and I'll show you in a second but for this video I'm going to be using a power Phillips screwdriver and this is simply just to speed things up so let's get started first thing we're going to need to do is turn the Machine around we're gonna turn it on the side like this so you have access to the back and the side so let's get started a lot of machines come with this cover here if yours doesn't have it you don't have to worry about it but to remove it you just simply squeeze the top and the bottom and pop it out to install it you install it just like this I'll push it back in at that simple so when you go to install it after we're done just remember just pop it in like that so you could set this aside here you got a cover here with four screws first screw on the top take it out second one here third one here and the last one right here okay so you could set these screw the side I'll put this on the ground here you just wiggle this cover out just like that and it comes right out set that aside you now have this cover here that's got four screws now these screws don't have the the octagon shape doesn't matter if you mix them but it's nice to just keep them the way they came out so two screws here you'll see that they're kind of round when you take him all you'll see what I mean and you got another couple screws here okay I'm gonna set these here just to not to mix them up again it doesn't matter if you mix them up but it just looks nicer when you're done so once you take those four screws out you just put your thumb here and move the cover in this direction just like that pops right out and the cover it's held by all these little little I don't know you want to call them little metal rivets or but just remember those when we put them back because they're gonna go in these holes so we put them back you just line them up here like this a little outward just like that make sure your alignment yeah and you just push your brake back as long as those screws line back up you're you're good to go so again pop it out we'll set this aside now we're gonna grab our fax board now let me tell you a little about how this is gonna go this is the connector we need to make a we need to seat it and if you turn it around you're gonna see a whole bunch of very sensitive metal pins do not touch these pins a lot of rookie technicians when they go to install it tend to it's gonna go into this slot right here a lot of technicians will they tend to do they try to push it here which is wrong because you're going to break those clicks so I'll show you in a second on how how you gonna seat this properly so first off you're gonna grab your fax cord it's gonna sit in here okay so before I do that let me first tell you about that flat-head screwdriver which I'm going to reach over here your machine might have the holes popped out or they might have it just the way this one looks on both of them if you have it if both of them are sealed you literally grab this flat head and you just pop it out you just great this little metal clip okay so just a little hit with your hand you could do it with a Philips screwdriver but it's better to just do it so if yours is saw it's covered just like this one is you have to pop it out you could pop both of them out but all you need really is just a top one okay so now let's get back to the facts board so when you go to installer you're gonna make sure that the speaker is it's in this pointing in this direction just like that and of course this has to match here so the way I install it is I kind of push this metal out a little and bring this inward just like that so seat it in there then you can let go now it's important that you that you this little area right here this little metal piece has to go in there and this is the mem let me take the flat chord out again this little metal piece has to come out here so that's the first important thing you need to do is to make sure that that little metal is right there so if you're sticking out you're good now you're gonna come here enough you can see it but you're gonna okay let me grab a flashlight so you can see it a little better okay so there you go so hopefully you can see so make sure that it's it's lined up there then you're gonna use your thumb and push this way just like push it and then you're gonna feel it seat you're also gonna see the screw hole line up right there now if you notice this air just just popped out so I'm gonna go ahead and pop this metal piece back in there just like this okay so there you go once you're there you're gonna install two little screws they're usually blue in color but they don't have to be blue in color but that's just the way they sometimes they come blue so it's two screws first one goes right here that metal popped out again so I'm gonna go ahead and cut this back in the darkness and the second one I probably should have put this one first doesn't matter which one but if you want you can put this one out first that way doesn't keep popping up to you there you go so now your faxing installed your telephone port is showing right there you don't have to put the second one you could pop the second one if you want nobody ever uses a cycle and that's mainly for just like a handheld speaker that's back in the day they used to use that not anymore but it's up to you pop and bolt out if you like it's not a big deal now we're gonna put the covers back I was gonna just tell you to reverse it but I might as well just do it for you so you can see it so I'm gonna put this in here so you notice I'm starting a little to the right lining all these up just there you go so now my holes by those screw holes are lined up and then go get my screws which I put a side here to total all four of them come to this tight here the third one right here okay now we're gonna grab that cover we took out and the way you put it in you just have to wiggle it in place kind of start in an angle if you're if your machine had this little SD card cover you just have to kind of pop it in there just like that and just wiggle it and just sometimes just give it a little pin until it lines up there you go it snaps into place you're gonna grab your four screws see how these look a little different they got the kind of like the octagon shape on them not a big deal but it's the same size as the ones in the back but they just they just look uniform okay that one's gonna go there their third screw and one more screw to go so if you're again going back to this cover he's got the two little rivets to stick out I don't know if you want to call them rivers but little plastic pieces here just put this in here and just snap it in and you're done so any questions go ahead and give us a call email us and we'll be happy to assist you thank you
