this video from shop stuff we're looking at the outlet box initialization of the twin roll SRS cash register from Casio we're going to do the initialization and include pairing of the register with a Bluetooth device so for this to happen you'll need a smartphone with the Casio ECR plus app already installed be helpful to have the Quick Start Guide you also need some little a batteries your Casio PGM here and two tail rolls move all the bits and bobs out of the way to start with first need to do is to load the memory protection batteries to do this lift up the printer cover from the back and then gently lift up the reset roll platinum here and then inside you'll see a battery compartment cover which just lifts out nice and easy you then pop down your batteries the batteries don't provide any power to the machine but they'll back off the memory so the sales data or the programming data if the Machine loses power once they're in we can pop in the receipt paper first of all so the SRS connected ecr's our thermal printer cash registers they take thermal paper which has a shiny and a dual side and you just need to load the paper so that the shiny side is facing down put the platter back into place and then repeat the procedure after the journal roll the same paper goes in both printers and the only difference for doing the journal role is that you then have to loop in the paper onto the spool at the back of the machine there's two guides on the central spindle and if you get the paper very tightly under there you should then be able to loop the roll that round the sport background and then drop it into place whether it's a roll tightly loaded you can then replace the printer cover feeding the receipt paper through the receipt paper slot and that's the batteries and the till wells loaded then take a look at our Quick Start Guide the next thing to do is to turn the machine on we'll just pop the PGM key into the off position turn the to on of the mains and we get the option of English UK or English Ireland so UK it's already highlighted so you simply press the cash amount 10 button here and then we have to put in the date and time to do this you use the number pad here so today's date is the 7th of May 0-7 for the day 0 5 for the month and then 19 for the mirror and then we won't pop the time in and then press cash amount tend to confirm the Machine will now run from the initialization procedure sets itself up the next thing we'll get to do is to pop in the tax rates which is simple to do I won't do that because for the purposes of this demonstration we're just going to look at the bluetooth pairing and the overall initialization okay so the tax rate you get up to four tax rates to set on the machine and you can toggle to each one and simply type in you have already wants an aunty tax warner 20 tax to arrive pop them in and then press see a amount tend to confirm you don't have to do this now you can do it later because it's easy to head it in the program in settings okay now you get the option to now connect your mobile by the Bluetooth so I'll just put the phone up there you simply choose yes by pressing the cash amount end you now have to enable bluetooth on your smart phone so I'll just quickly do that here bluetooth is on go into it you should see your device start searching for the connectible devices including the register you'll know it's found if I just bring the phone to the screen it uses the ey serial number of the machine so you can see that it's found that one there and then you pop in a pin number which shows on the screen of the register choose okay machine beeps and prints ow and so that is the initialization completed so you could either now turn the key around to the reg position and start selling items through the register you could turn to the PGM mode and manually program the machine or as you've set up your app you could also do your programming from the app there's probably videos appearing right now showing you how to do this and for more information subscribe to our youtube channel thanks for watching
