What do you like best?

I love that my clients can sign with their actual signature if they choose to. I also love that it can be done in blue or black ink. I love using my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for signatures. Because the Real Estate Industry is almost exclusively using electronic signatures and documents a eSignature application is a necessity and airSlate SignNow is my personal favorite.

Fax corroborator signature block

hey welcome back to peace and duro si today we're working on the 2005 Honda reflex and essentially what today's activity is going to be which is not part of this video is it's going to be reassembling everything back together putting the engine back into the the scooter and determining if the damn thing runs of course one of the things we need to stick back in there is the carburetor which is what you're looking at this is the carburetor out of the 2005 it is the OE carburetor and essentially what it is it is a it is a Keon model cbk I'm sorry it's a Keon model the e30 cdk4 constant velocity type carburetor now the carburetor I've rebuilt this carburetor but that's not the reason why I am working on the that's not really even the issue that I was the main issue that I was having with the with the Honda reflex the Honda reflex had an issue that came down to my conclusion that water or coolant was getting into the cylinder head and stalling out the the engine I have trouble shot and remedy that as the as the head gasket the in the process of doing so the the kind of the reflux is new to me so in in the process of doing so I reached out to other reflux owners and kind of you know just on Facebook websites forums wherever I could just to kind of get some feedback and you know what they thought about my conclusion and what or other insight that they had and one of the things that came back to me which is the topic of this video right here is the the carburetor heater on this car now I have I gotta tell you I have never had a carburetor a cvk akkyun with a carburetor heater and to cut to the chase the carburetor heater this is the this is the carburetor diagram and you can actually see it listed right here carburetor heater okay this is the service manual by the way and the actual location of the carburetor heater is right here what I'm gonna do is I'm going to take this out and while I'm doing it the the reason that this is an issue is because the feedback that I obtained while kind of doing my investigation into my issue with water getting into the cylinder a lot of people came back to me and said hey your problem is that you've got the hoses backwards on the carburetor heater and I was like carburetor heater carburetor heater what in the heck is that so well as I just said that's the carburetor here you know why somebody would put a header on a carburetor eludes me you know I mean I've read places where they say well that's technology what did what an interesting thing Honda did why why did they put a why does a carburetor need a heater when three inches this way is a super hot exhaust pipe and two inches this way is a super hot motor both of which are throwing off a lot of heat in the in in the compartment where the carburetor is out well you know it's that's find I have no idea why it's like that but let me just tell you about this thing there first of all it was really quick for me to identify that there is no way that this particular item this particular component can introduce water into the the cylinder head what it is it is simply and I'm turning it here there are two pipes with a pass through that go together here the pipes I'm gonna put a little piece of hose on here and I blow through it okay so that's all you got you got two pipes that are connected now what's going through those pipes is is cooling from the coolant from the radiator now I'll explain how that's getting there in a second but essentially the way this works is so essentially the way this works losing some gas room all it does is a but now I'm turning it upside the carb upside down now all it does also does is a but the float ball that's all it is okay so what you've got is you've got coolant going through this thing one tube or the other and abutting the float Bowl now let me just put the screw back here for a second I'll screw it back in [Music] and I think I'll screw back in here essentially it's also holding the bracket for the idol of the idol key right there the idol adjustment okay so okay so so as I said basically there's no way everybody said that this is this is your issue it's not the head gasket it's not issue essentially this connects okay we got two connections and it doesn't matter which one goes to where however that but the connection the first connection is the this is obviously your your primary radiator hose and this is the radiator obviously the radiator cap so when the when everything is installed one of the hoses to this thing goes to the radiator cap alright the other hose and I'm going to have to take the take the camera and turn it around for a second so just just bear with me so I want you to understand this okay now what you're looking at is the engine that is that I've removed from the from the motor scooter okay and the other hose is connected to the housing in which the certain thermostat is located okay so what you've got here is the the carburetor is sitting in in this direction right here okay this is your of your carburetor manifold it's not the manifold that's where medical bills and you're going to connect here and here the direction of the fluid the direction of the fluid is coming from the thermostat housing so essentially what's happening is when the thermostat opens up and pushes fluid through the system it pushes it through the heater okay and out of the heater to the to the radiator cap now that cap has two two on each side it's got the cap intake and it's got the the overflow where this connects to the the overflow oh I'm sorry I didn't see that you got the end the intake from the heater is right here with my index finger and the the other hose connection here is to the reservoir so the reason I'm pointing this out is that the way this works is these two hoses okay this needs to either be connected to to the heater and the flow-through exist so that coolant overflow coolant can get to get can get into the reservoir that's how it gets there now I'm gonna leave that heater on there but let me tell you something if you took okay if you took [Music] this hose right here and you connected it somehow to right there you would have the same function you would be able to bypass the heater that's just the way it works I'm not gonna do that I don't like to get into the habit of second-guessing manufacturers however I'm telling you two things one eludes me why this thing is even necessary but the real issue is there's a lot of misinformation out there about what that does what it can do what kind of problems it can create there is no issue whatsoever switching this hose over here and this hose over there there's no problem whatsoever it is a simple blow through get past the information get past the bad information on the the Internet and that's really the purpose of this video so you can see it you can hear my thoughts and you know make your own decisions about what you want to do as I said I'm just gonna leave it there leave it here set it up the way the manufacturer wants us to set it up and kind of move on if you know what I mean I think that's it that's all I have to say about that so this is peace enduro signing up have a good day
