hey guys I just wanted to send out a quick little reminder as more teams are moving towards DocuSign we've seen an influx of tickets come over with concern on closing date violations or maybe fails on consummation dates just a quick little reminder when you send your disclosures out via DocuSign and you create that PDF package disclosure tracking automatically logs that as the package having been sent out via u.s. mail because you're you're printing out the disclosures so the system thinks that you're printing them out and sticking them in the mail so all you need to do is open up the details for that line item and if they were sent out via DocuSign just make sure you come in here and in the drop-down for the sent method just update that from u.s. mail to DocuSign and you're gonna want to do that over here in the column for the borrower and same for the co borrower if there is one in the drop-down click other and type in DocuSign and since that's the way that it's being sent out and if your customer got them back to you a same day they dock you signed everything the same day that you sent it out all you need to do is come in here to the actual receive date and populate that date and so that it's no longer going off of this presumed receive date which when it's when the system thinks it went out via u.s. mail it's gonna add three days so that's why you're gonna get this closing date violation the system doesn't think that enough time has passed so all you need to do is simply go in here select other as your sent method type in DocuSign and update these dates click OK and that does take a moment for it to update so let it work and then all your dates over here on your disclosure tracking screen will also update click Save give it a moment to save those dates and there you go now your alert has disappeared so it's just the system thinking that since you printed those out to create that PDF package that you stuck it in the mail again all you need to do is come over to disclosure tracking open up the line item and just update your sent method to other and indicate DocuSign and just put in the actual received date that matches the DocuSign certificate so that all the dates match and that should clear it up for you just wanted to remind everyone thanks so much
