a resident author and artist at nonprofit organization the arts Avenue of South Jersey set out to answer a question all sides say they have the answer to why all the hate probably my first exposure to art was as a young child taking piano lessons and what I came away with and I couldn't prove to you right now I can play the piano and trust me please don't have an athlete but it was ten years of classical lessons and what I noticed was that sight reading reading music is a universal language it doesn't matter what language you speak where you come from what your faith is it's just universal language and I see that all mark no matter what genre or what the sub-genre is is it artful it is it's just something that your mind can grasp it but your heart preserves it and if you think about it excuse me the word art itself is found in the word heart so what in my personal life my expressions are no longer coming out on a piano keyboard but they come out in my writing what is your overall perception of the division between the major religions really every single perception is under the belief that there is the right perception so you know maybe they're all right maybe they're wrong wrong wrong maybe once right the rest of them are wrong so then the question that came to my mind out of that was well maybe religion isn't the answer maybe the answer is hidden in what every living person has in common let's start from the obvious if you were to come here from another planet you land on planet Earth and you do all these people walking around everybody's got two eyes two ears two arms two legs we all look the same but yeah we then wouldn't notice that we have different color or we have a different faith or a different belief we all look the same so you think we should be named you know what's wrong with all these people on the planet that they're not getting along and those are the things that the common grounds that really need to be explored and we need to be open with if there's one God he/she must be very mean and uncaring it seems God has left everyone with no way of knowing exactly who he/she is if not then why are the three major world religions at odds with one another even to the point of killing one another why didn't God leave some way of knowing how to confirm who is correct those three religions in particular claim they descend from their God's promise to Abraham because all of the tensions run high around these these topics we cannot we cannot ignore that I mean what can we do better to have more edifying respectful conversations with one another about these issues that obviously include disagreement but we should still be able to talk I really think that at the heart of it we were we complicated unnecessarily I believe in a nutshell the easiest way is to realize that nobody's perfect and that includes me and everybody else on the planet nobody's perfect we don't have to be judgmental we all need to take closer look at ourselves because you know we're not perfect we got a long way to go and maybe there's imperfections in me or part of the problem and maybe I need to you know really start trying to chisel that stuff away and the more I'm exposed to other people and their expressions and what's in what they've gone through with life and how they're dealing with life it helps me put myself and everybody else to put ourselves in the other person's shoes don't always gravitate towards the people who look like you or talked like you or have the same amount of money as you I mean really really open your hearts spend time with people that you never thought you would have spent time with it seems each generation is getting a little bit more fed up with the previous generation and their close-mindedness and being set in their ways and that these these younger generations seem to be more open to bridging those gaps and removing all the old stereotypes so that I find that I'm very excited if you had to summarize the short film and this is hard one word I would have to say
