[Music] welcome to the channel thank you everybody for tuning in i hope everyone's okay now i've got a very very special unboxing here for you guys i'm generally personally very very excited to be unboxing this watch quick bit of background i've actually been waiting for this for the best part of three months the supplier the brand had a few troubles no doubt all this watch a long time ago and actually wanted two different colors i wanted a black and a green unfortunately there was an issue with one of the color options um but anyway you know what i'm that excited about it and you know i think the watch in the pictures at least looked that good so i'm actually not fussed uh that i couldn't get the color i wanted uh so without dragging on anymore let's have a look at what we have so this is the box uh it's got infinite time sticker on there now for those of you guys with that intimate knowledge uh of branch from aliexpress you already know what this is however for the rest of yous that don't know this is a watch from the brand called merka so let's pop it open so the box already is an upgraded version of the boxes that we see a lot of the other brands come in those plastic dive style cases so this is a bit more like a mini briefcase of course very very tool-like box uh and what we find in here first of all a bunch of booklets there's a lot of stuff here so we've got a full booklet by merca uh i think it goes through uh it's a manual instructions i think it's got other bits and bobs information and in different languages so we put that to the side there's a little card i don't know what that is at the moment put that away um you've got you get a cloth plush polishing cloth with the brand merca on there now don't know how you guys feel about the name i personally love the name i've got nothing against it i think it reads right i think it looks right uh and also it sounds absolutely right as well but i've not any problems with that name so far you'll get a warranty card with the date this was made and you also get a just a card about the company now what's interesting here is you'll see a whole bunch of little brands that are recorded on this card so you've got fod uh you've got pierre pauline season probably not saying any of them are correct then of course you've got merka now what's interesting as well just going off topic slightly if you look at the sticker on the box infinite time you'll see another few brands lagers suggest sharky master possibly have got something to do with the rest of the brands now i think infinite time beijing they are a factory or a manufacturer and they do manufacture a whole host of brands what we will be doing is going over to the website shortly after i unwrapped the watch uh and we're gonna there's something else very exciting in this video uh merka have been kind enough and generous enough to provide me with a massive discount code for this watch got the watch out instantly first impressions you know what there's a slight bit of weight to the watch you can already feel now this is if you can't tell already this is their interpretation to the 6105. 8110 captain willard but you know what well i have nicknamed this i've nicknamed this the king willard instantly from the pictures and you know from the first impressions this just looks like a captain wallet on steroids it looks much more aggressive it looks uh more of a just an aggressive better looking dive watch in my opinion so the first thing that i have actually noticed feeling this watch this is just look how flexible this strap is now it looks like a very awesome strap and i'm not a fan of dive straps generally but this is probably the softest feeling strap that i've actually seen on the watch and just look how just look how that flops there's no stiffness within the rubber silicon i've got a feeling this might be actually the new the fkm rubber uh that a lot of people are using now in the straps so that is very comfortable strap another thing you'll notice straight away is just look at the size of this buckle absolutely massive very substantial and you've got the merka logo just stamped across there i think this watch definitely does have a huge presence and you've got the big bold logo at the 12 o'clock you've got this nice red detail at the bottom and you also got this lovely red seconds hand now i'll be careful not to start reviewing this just want to do a first impressions but initially when you do look at the dial that's a very gorgeous style and also a very recognizable dial it's something that we're used to seeing those seiko style dials with the indices and the batons and you know it is similar to the mm300 style of dial you've got this gs diver style hands i absolutely love those hands and i think one thing in particular look how far out that red seconds hand does actually stretch it seems to be just a fraction away from the chapter ring so far i think um amazing watch let's take a look at the case back fully stamped engraved it looks absolutely solid i don't even mind that turtle on the back uh we've got the crown here oh look at this this is a nod of course to the original if you don't know if you can see that the lock printed on the crown so specifications in case you're wondering um bezel insert 120 click bezel full stainless steel construction including case back bezel and crown um you've got a seiko epson nh35 movement in here we're all very familiar with that seiko epson movement it's an uh 24 joule hacking and winding movement it beats at 21 600 vibrations per hour and the best thing about it is that it is super super reliable and you've got 300 meters of water resistance you've got a double dom sapphire crystal with a touch of air coating and you've got this amazingly brushed case just have a look at those lovely little highlights i haven't seen this level of detail on another 6105 to date just have a look at that polished edge that looks absolutely fantastic crown nice thick crown and look at that detail that bit of red very very smooth operation on the crown now let's check the bezel it's a very accurate bezel no playback and the rotation is is so smooth this thing is geared to the nine anyway first impressions done i'm not gonna say anymore on this watch if you are interested and this has you know sparked that interest we're going to head interesting uh i'll do some side by sides in the full review that i do of the watch um i personally absolutely love it um i think it's an amazing uh amazingly well built watch just purely by first impressions just you know in hand looking at the feel and finish and the materials used um you know things like the bezel so i'm really excited to do the full review on this this is definitely a
