here is an atnt corded answering system with backlit display featuring a speakerphone audio assist backlight display and colorado call waiting digital or digital answering system the model is cl4940 looks like it may be used but kind of dirty for some reason i mean not used new but dirty okay so here's the contents of the box see the phone itself aside from this dirt on the handset it looks new there's no wear on the cradle the film is still over the screen the buttons are clean i don't know what that is but i think it may be new it's the phone cord which it looks like it was never opened it's got some of that brown junk on the phone cord too it's the power adapter it is a nine volt adapter here's the manual the quick start guide those are both with us still and this is uh like a spin-off of the quick start guide i guess so there's that so that's all there and we won't use that video take this off of here and get this plugged in and see if it works the screen is three different angles it can be at i think that'll be good for the video let's plug in the handset cord here let's take a look at the informations on the back this is made by advanced american telephones and i believe this was still in production up until very recently maybe maybe it even still is i'm not sure yeah i forgot to plug in the testing equipment so i'm gonna plug that in now and i'm going ring okay so now we know that let's plug it in and the screen is that because of the film no the contrast is just very low i'm going to leave the film in place for now um because i'm not ready to use
