okay of yours here is a brother in telefax 1270 with a lot of glare this is a plain paper fazimilly or whatever it is this is the last of the fax machines from the trash let's go ahead and plug this thing in or first we can look at the information there are the informations not made in the china which is good telephone cord is on backwards this long end is supposed to be what goes into the base looks like the original protective plastic film is still over the instruction thing there so this probably would clean up really nice anyways i'll plug it up now appears to be initializing okay put some paper in okay i didn't plug in the phone line so that's why it doesn't work it's getting late i guess this will be the last video i do for the day i'm starting to make errors now it seems to work let's go ahead and call the testing answering machine i gotta pull the line out of the fx though it's gonna start sending faxes before i wanted to why can't i dial a number okay let's get help check paper i had suspicions there was something wrong with this because something inside here doesn't look right well now now it's really not right this is is the damaged i'm not sure where this went or if it's a critical component actually looks like it may have just come off the top there like that so that could be easily repaired and should not be affecting the the paper situation there it goes i guess it was just that thing was in the way now it seems to have stopped feeding okay take two i guess this would be take three change cartilage what's wrong with the cartilage now oh the cartilage looks terrible and it's out cartilage has run out i don't know if it's possible to just rewind this and use it again i'm cheap enough that i'm gonna try oh these are all the facts i guess you can't use this over oh i see how this works now now you can't use this over again this just shows all the i see how this works now with a lot of faxing okay so i have to get a new cartilage you know i've made a mess i got to deal with obviously it's not going to print quite right but just to see if it works at all before i buy new cartilage i am going to rewind the thing a little bit i put a screw in here and just rewind it all right so put this back in here and should i do it wrong what am i missing here it sits down on the other side with no problem now i'm understanding the issue i rewound this backwards for heaven's sakes oh great these ends come off well that would make it easier enter freak show number 50. i can't get the screw out of there now so we'll have to dismantle this cartilage later to get the screw out hopefully it'll work okay with the screw in all right so it's rewound enough to work now i know it's not going to print properly but at least we'll be able to see now if it wants to print or not so let's try that copy again okay [Music] [Applause] [Music] cartilage is probably just going to jam i don't know you know this is really going to work or not left it's so okay so it definitely works of course it's not going to work well because the condition of the cartilage being used but it does work so that's fine so now i will be comfortable ordering a new cartilage so let's try to send this thing a fax there we don't need the paper in there for that dirt let's test the phone first to make sure that works good does it work it works okay now we'll go to the mains grab an outgoing call here now it's dialing okay all right so that works and i'm kind of rushing this point because i need to tend to my finger and it's late whatever so okay now we'll send it to fax ah jeez user [Applause] uh [Applause] so it says there was an error i'm not really sure why air partially came through because we got that well let's just try again oh that was an error on this and the paper fell out thor i really need to go to sleep [Music] so uh what's going on with this do [Music] okay let's try again do so [Applause] hello okay all right that seems to work correctly this i'm not time why it sent a second page but here's the facts that came through it's printing surprisingly well considering the cartilage has been used all right so that seems to work needs to be cleaned up and i'll have to get a new cartilage and i gotta get that screw out of the cartilage but that'll be a test for another day
