Malak hamdulillah or salatu wassalam lazuli laughs I'm a bad idea brothers and sisters assalamualaikum and welcome to another episode of the Murray mouth we hummed Eliza has been a very very busy January for the murid foundation with many of our projects in full speed I'm glad the marriage foundation team Douaumont Ithaca came together for for an event called freedom of speech terms and conditions apply and the main kind of objective of this was to kind of engage with the public and to talk about freedom of speech and to talk about the hypocrisy that you know a lot of people coming out with about freedom of speech what was beautiful about the actual event was that we had the opportunity to explain to people about why prophet muhammad sallahu salam is so dear to many muslims and why so many muslims rights do upset with certain partners up that were published and it was a great opportunity to actually educate people about his life and what was quite amazing when we were engaging with the public we was having these questions that we had and through the actual questions people actually realize that there's there's no such thing as a complete absolute freedom of speech and that when you are installing certain people or certain groups that it's not acceptable when we gave kind of examples about how it's not acceptable to offend certain communities and how you know this time should not be treated any different towards those communities and groups I think majority the people I could you agreed and they walked away they're more understanding of where Muslims are coming from so hundred I was always it was a beautiful day a beautiful event and it was just great to see so many brokers out there and engaging with the public because in certain situations like this is what we need to do there's been a mustard month for the soup and smiles initiative in January and you know one of the kind of key term the mood foundation is collaboration and separa you know the soup and smiles initiative we're going out we're giving kind of bread and in kind of soup to people in need but we're also getting food items from Food Box I just want to give out a big shout out seal as well we're providing actually hot food of people but operating with an organization called free milk we're getting kind of close items from coffee for Craig so that's kind of good collaboration right there so we've been have some of some amazing conversations of people out there and we also had the Manchester Islamic high schools sisters actually came and volunteered and they had kind of a real enjoyable experience and I think had a real link to kind of the Islamic studies I've seen the practical side about the acting upon some other things that were recommended to do it in Islam so super smells that we've had a very very productive and very very busy one for him good luck a nicely linking on to this is our feeder FEM project and then the month of January we were able to look at a link up one of the local mustard the CMA with a local food bank and what's amazing about this is that we're having local Muslims who are giving food to local food banks so you know we're affecting people within the locality and this is kind of one of the things that we're trying to we'll try to promote and we're trying to encourage different massages and different communities to actually engage with the public - to give something back and the food but I one of the key things that we would find a portion of this project is trying to get as many mustards on board to kind of give back to the communities and also one of the key messages we give to the you know the food banks in there - the people who I've seen on the receiving end of the food is that you know this is the Muslim contribution where were two foods were very important and following our beautiful trip to to Aberdeen to do the awareness project there was a team in Cardiff that if you invited the mood Foundation to deliver an awareness project session so a group of brothers from the murid foundation went and delivered a course see some beautiful promos of the downtown South inian carded and these are brothers who always be already active in in dawa and they were looking to kind of try something different and they wanted to find out what the local people within the community what their needs are to try me and to have kind of a positive impact and a positive relationship and positive encounter with a non-muslim through these question is and linking to that point we had the Manchester Metropolitan University who actually went and bought one of the awareness project views and they're looking to do the awareness project throughout the week during the discover Islam week and the hundreds is is good to see that brothers and sisters in different parts of the country are looking to get active and to kind of be innovative with regards to working down it's been a very eventful month for my hospice body as well and we've had quite a few other volunteers who have been actively going to the hospital and spending time with the patients there and we've actually had a new batch of volunteers who matera the DBS have come through now and they're going to be arranging a training which is gonna be for the new batch of volunteers at the hospice coming within the next few weeks inshallah so do watch out for that and one of our ongoing projects there the Munster new Muslim Network we've had one of the brothers brothers Ghulam who's offering the journey of life there cause they're a humbler progressing very very well growing their high number of people who are actually attending the courses a week in week out and in our last kind of session we actually covered the importance of the car and kind of the importance of giving to the benefits of actually giving money towards Pacifica finally the merge foundation have some massive exciting big news for everyone out there and this is something which is not just reading up it's going to be national and so do stay tuned to something that we're going to be revealing within the next few weeks we do stay tuned with our kind of our social media on our Facebook and do kind of do check out our website and the address is just coming up right here and thank you very much for listening and stay tuned for the next edition of the mortgage monthly just like on the lock here assalamo late
