in this tutorial i'm going to show you how to invite a client to the one notary platform so that an online notarization can be completed you'll need to first make sure that you are in the my document section of the one notary platform you will then click the blue invite a signer button next you will input the signer's email address now if the signer is going to provide the document that needs to be notarized then you can just ignore the upload button however if you have the document that needs to be notarized you will need to click the upload button and then select the document that needs to be notarized you will then see that the document has been added and once you have the email address and document added if needed simply click the send invite button this will take you back to the my document screen and you will see the invitation has been sent out to the signer along with the document that needs to be signed you can also click on the blue actions button to see the status of the signing this shows that we are still waiting for the signer to provide their information you can also do another connection check here on this screen and once everything has been completed and you are ready to start the session you can press the blue start session button a few things that you will need to keep in mind is that the invitation that you email out to the signer is only good for seven days so the signer will need to make sure to check their email and start the process within seven days of you sending out that invitation another thing to keep in mind is that once the knowledge based authentication has been started you and the signer will only have six hours to start the online notarization session so make sure that whenever the signer is doing their kba that both you and the signer will be ready to complete the online notarization within six hours and again once everything is ready to start the session all you'll need to do is click the blue start session button you
