hi everybody and welcome to chelsea ground bank's facebook video this week we have been talking about how to get things done at the bank and today we are talking about how to fill out a withdrawal slip so we talked about how to fill out a deposit slip yesterday so now we're going to talk about how to take money out of the bank so there are a couple of different things that you can do if it is a checking account you can just write a check to yourself that will take money out of your checking account if you want to go into the bank um you can also do any withdrawals through the atm with your debit card but if you're in the bank you might find a pink withdrawal slip like this um to be able to take money out of a savings or checking account so again it says withdrawal down here withdrawal ticket this is a withdrawal ticket um so the first thing you're going to do is write the date so today is 11 19 20 20. okay then they're going to ask for your account number now um if you ended up at the bank and you don't know what your account number is as long as you have um the correct photo id anybody behind the counter will be able to help you with that um but if you do know what your account number is you can go ahead and just write that on the ticket okay so your account number here next is the amount that you would like to take out so if we would like and fifty dollars we would write 150 right there but very much like a check we also need to spell out that amount of money so 100 and fifty and zero zero zero zero a dollars for 150 okay um and then do we want that money in cash or do we want it in um a big check or a money order so we're just going to say we want that in cash okay and do you just want to transfer it to another account so um if you are really just wanting to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account you don't physically have to have the cash handed to you you can just have it uh make it a transfer and put the other account number here again um the person helping you will be more than happy to help you with that as long as it is your account um and then down here you're just going to sign again like the deposit ticket like a check um you're going to need a signature okay printed names are not secure because they're very easy to copy all right so here you go and uh you can make the withdrawal from your account so best of luck we hope everybody has a great day and...
