What is a force field analysis diagram?
A force field diagram is used to analyze these opposing forces and set the stage for making change possible. Change will not occur when either the driving forces and restraining forces are equal, or the restraining forces are stronger than the driving forces. -
How change can be effected using the force field analysis?
Using the Force Field Analysis. Lewin's force field analysis is used to distinguish which factors within a situation or organisation drive a person towards or away from a desired state, and which oppose the driving forces. These can be analysed in order to inform decisions that will make change more acceptable. -

What is Kurt Lewin's force field theory?
Researcher Kurt Lewin developed a theory about organizational change. According to his force-field theory, these two sets of forces are always in opposition in an organization. When the forces are evenly balanced, the organization is in a state of inertia and does not change. -

charge up the main deflector array grab your tribal physical wave for macro kinetic extrapolator and prime your over shields because this is interesting if you enjoy this video don't forget to leave a like subscribe for future content and if you're watching on youtube why not hit that all-important power button to be informed of all our future videos also i'm planning to show off your comments in the next video there will be two comments from mid me and two comments from youtube so if you want the chance of appearing at a fact file video what's through to the end so you can answer my questions with that said let's get straight into today's topic on Star Trek - Star Wars - Doctor Who force fields are a staple in pretty much every sci-fi show they work in a majority of different ways depending on the show or movie but in general force fields are used to keep people safe whether it be from laser beams bullets or the cold vacuum of space the general idea of a force field is to keep the person or alien being within it out of harm's way this is usually done through some kind of energy or magnetic deflection and it sounds like something we would never be able to recreate in the real world it just sounds way too sci-fi right well it turns out it's much more sigh than fine because we're working on real-life force fields right now Boeing the company that does all of the planes are working on bringing force fields to real-world vehicles using an array of plasma projectors to create a bubble of energy that deflects shockwaves from explosions they call it the shock wave attenuation the electromagnetic arc but that's a long name so instead I'll just call it an arc shield for the rest of this video the arc shield is triggered by an onboard sensor that will detect the incoming shock wave once a shock wave has been sent the system would use an arc generator to form a protective energy barrier which changes the temperature and density of the air around it to lessen the impact of the shock wave the issues of Boeing's current plasma shield ideas are actually pretty intense the system is going to have a serious energy so unless all military vehicles start packing a nuclear generator in the trunk the plasma shields duration of usefulness is going to be pretty short this means that unlike in movies where shields are always active activating the plasma arc shield let's have to be pretty precise when it comes to timing and it wouldn't last long under a sustained level of fire it also can only block shockwaves or lasers any projectiles of shrapnel would pierce straight through the shield like a knife through butter these already seem like pretty major problems and they're not even the worst ones you have to remember that it's plasma being used here and plasma is actually incredibly hot you're basically relying on an electromagnet to suspend this bubble of superhot plasma around your vehicle which is equal parts scary and impossible at our current level of Technology even if we were protecting ourselves with the shield would also be leaving ourselves in a bit of a disadvantage a plasma shield would block all frequencies that are below or at its density threshold so while no one could fire lasers or explosions in you also wouldn't be able to throw lasers or explosions back out in fact you probably wouldn't even be able to flee past the shield laser beams are just concentrated light and if you're blocking out the light from a laser how are you going to get the light from the outside world in being blind and unable to fire back isn't really the best defensive strategy you're less of a tank and more of an armadillo rolling up into a ball the Ark shield might not be useful in combat situations but it might be useful in other situations one of the people that worked on the concept said that the most likely use for the art shield would be for trapping radiation within a plasma shell which might be useful for applications that require really high temperature environments such as experimental fusion reactors that's enough about the arc shield because believe it or not they aren't the only type of force field being worked on out there in the big wide world before we get up into space we're being threatened by a serious issue one that we'll have to overcome if we want to go basically anywhere outside of the protection of our own world this is the issue of galactic cosmic rays and solar energetic particles these two forms of space radiation I believe to increase the chance for the people different cancer as well as other health conditions down here on earth were shielded from this radiation by the atmosphere and magnetosphere which is a kind of natural force field but up there in space we've got no such protection enter the magnetic force field a force field made up of magnetic superconductors designed to bounce back harmful radiation the project is called s r2 s and it uses superconducting magnets to produce a magnetic force field that's around three thousand times stronger than the Earth's magnetosphere according to the scientists that came up with the idea it can create a 10 meter force field that can deflect cosmic rays around a spacecraft in other words we may have just brought star trips deflector shields to the real world it might be decades until the shielding tech is completely ready but when it is we'll be one step closer to flying around through the stars if you've watched all the way to the end of this video I just want to give you a huge thanks it means a lot that you clearly enjoyed enough to watch the whole way through so do you think force or technology has a place in the future of war or do you think it should only be used for science and the exploration of space leave your comments down below and I'll showcase it a for in our next video - from YouTube and - from vid me of course if you did enjoy this video then don't forget to leave a like subscribe to the channel if you would like to see more of our videos and if you're watching on YouTube let that all-important mo button to be informed of all our future content and as always that was interesting
