in this video we're going to take a closer look at one of the more unique features that's available in digisign this feature is called a writable block using writable blocks allows the signers to add and change text onto the document with an added layer of compliance that tracks and initializes any changes made during the signing process let's take a deeper look so we're going through digi sign here with our regular process of uploading the document applying our signers and getting ready to place the blocks on the document so some of the fields you may be more familiar with in digisign may be the date initials and signatures as those are used fairly often when e-signing documents for example here i'll go ahead and quickly demonstrate how to use the initial blocks simply click on the option from the toolbar above click on the document where you need it to go you can always resize the block as you can see here [Music] and use the drop down to change who is assigned as you can see in this situation we have sarah and we have sammy now both sarah and sammy will go through the process of signing the document now that we've looked at some of the more standard fields let's focus on one of the options that's available in digisign called writable the writable blocks allow the signers to add text onto the document during the signing process or the writable block can be used by the sender and then if needed the information in the block can be edited during the signing process let's go ahead and demonstrate this now so if we're looking at section b of this transfer disclosure statement it looks like my sellers might need to disclose some information about any significant defects or malfunctions on the house so we'll start by placing the check box field in the yes or no area whether or not there is anything that they want to disclose now we can see here that there's the describe field and here my sellers might have some information they want to disclose about any defects or malfunctions so what i'm going to do is i'm going to select writable from the toolbar and click to place the writable block on the document now this is essentially a text box that the signers can type in during the signing process and you can see how this is how the text would format we don't quite want it to format this way since we have some longer lines so what i'm going to do is click on this triangle and drag the box in a way that it matches what we need on the document and so here you can see how that fits perfectly in this space we want to give them plenty of room to type so i'm going to go ahead and add one more on the next line and now we can...
