hello i am wahi a virtual assistant to help importers and exporters in this brief video i will provide guidance on usage of digital signature certificate for signing applications on the new dgfte platform digital signature certificate is a secure token in the shape of a usb drive it is used to sign documents and applications electronically on the dgft and other e-platforms for dgft it may be a class 2 or class 3dsc token you may get your dsc token from any cca approved agencies please refer cca.gov dot in for the list of licensed dsc providers the validity period of dsc should not have expired make sure that drivers for digital signature are installed on your system so that your machine can read the token please download and install the e mudra utility from the link ambridge.mudhara.com any of the following dsc tokens works on the dgft platform for individual base token the pan of the signatory on the iec should match with the pan in dsc for organization based token the organization name in the dsc should match with the firm name on the iec for iec based token the iec number embedded in dsc token should match for proprietorships iec is issued against the proprietor's pan no separate pan is issued in the name of the proprietorship firm individual token or the aadhaar of the proprietor would work fine here for limited company or opc a signatory other than director may be authorized by its board and as per cca rules are allowed you may also refer this matrix for type of tokens allowed according to the type of firm how to use the digital signature token to link the iec install the dsc token drivers install embroidery mudra utility application after installing openmbridge application and check whether the service status of embridge utility application is running if it is not running please refer to the faqs provided later in the video for troubleshooting such issues go to link iec and select sign using dsc select provider from drop down select certificate from drop down enter the dsc password and submit once you click submit the details of dsc are matched with the iec details an error message is generated if the details in the iec do not match the dsc upon successful validation the iec shall be linked with a user id let's do a small demo on how to link iec using dsc token register first and then login with valid credentials click on link iec enter iec number then click on link iec click on ok then select digital signature certificate then select provider from provider list select certificate from certificate list enter your token password and click on submit button after clicking on submit button the details of dsc will be validated with the iec profile and upon successful validation the iec will be linked to profile some commonly asked question on signing using dsc please reinsert the digital signature token check...
