hi i'm luke and in this video i'm going to show you how to change your call forwarding settings on an android device the first thing we're going to do is open our phone dialer app depending on the version of android that's running on your phone and the make and model of your phone say for example a samsung s20 ultra this path and the settings in this app are going to look a little bit different if you're using the default calling app on your android device it should look something like this we're going to click that drop down menu in the top right hit settings and then navigate to supplementary services once that's loaded we'll hit call forwarding and then voice call now this loading process here is actually happening because uh when we request these settings your phone asks your sim card to ask your mobile service provider what these settings are because they're actually stored on your carrier's system not on the device itself now if we wanted to set up call forwarding always forward which would mean that our phone wouldn't ring the call would immediately forward to the number that we save you just hit the setting and enter that phone number there now conditional call forwarding is made up of three settings and i go into more detail in another video but for now all you need to know is if you're trying to set up conditional call forwarding you're going to edit each and every one of these forward when busy forward when unanswered and forward when unreachable with the phone number you want to set conditional call forwarding too all right thanks so much for watching and i hope that helped
