hey guys just want to do a quick video on uh setting up safe select this is the t28 that's the 631 same exact receivers of 630 just fyi uh it just has a uh a whip antenna on it um i believe the same process will work for a 637t 637 ta so here we go i've bound it up this is a brand new airplane and right now you can see elevator works router works so let's do a little checking here you can hear as3x working um i'm going to power cycle the airplane trying to do this one-handed it's not so easy let's see power cycle all right going back in let's see there we go all right back in let it initialize see how it did the quick servo in his initialization that means it's in as3x mode uh it does not have safe select working yet and uh when i wiggle the airplane my dog's going nuts over the esc notice the servos are not moving so that's as3x mode i have not run the throttle up yet so of course i'm working one-handed i'll just bump the throttle up okay i probably really just made the esc mad but hear that now as3x is working and i'll move it slowly it's not using safe okay that's as3x mode so now let's use forward programming and set this up complete this is pretty cool forward programming gyro settings save select we're going to use my gear channel and i want safe select on so with the switch down it's safe select on the switch up it's as3x on safe is off so that's working perfect so let's go back back back back all right so now again i have not power cycled the airplane so um but the receiver probably did power cycle but nope so as you can see this is in my switch up mode which is as3x it might even say it see how it says as3x and then stability angle demand that's safe i gotta have him change those words so anyways as3x mode it's reacting safe mode it stays right so now the question of the hour when you first plug in what does it do so it's in safe mode i just proved it's working i'm going to power cycle come on and reconnect let it initialize [Music] oh that battery that's okay so it's in safe mode so i expect the servos to move and it is safe mode moves immediately switch it to as3x and no servo moving so now i'm going to bump the throttle and now we have as3x so a little tutorial on how to configure safe select using the 630 receiver i'm using a nx6 here but really all uh gen 2 and above spectrum radios have forward programming so give this a shot makes it so much easier than the holding the sticks and flicking the switch it's very intuitive so...
