Initial ccw certificate

[Music] what's up YouTube it's been a while since I made a video I've had quite a few questions in regards to my previous video about how to get your CCW permit in the San Bernardino County area so I have a few of you guys questions so I'm hoping I can answer them thoroughly it's better to help you guys out as far as what you're gonna need to do and what you're gonna need to apply for your CCW hopefully this is sufficient light I'm gonna light sitting right behind my camera so you guys can see things a little bit better I have a couple handguns with me this is my 17 it's unloaded actually my favorite gun I don't have this as a concealed carry but I just wanted to use it in comparison for what I do carry on a day-to-day basis which is my Smith & Wesson and this guns also unloaded but you can get a good size comparison so uh one of the first questions that I got was how much does it cost to get your CCW permit and all in all it's about 400 bucks so initially you got to go through a initial fee and they want all these things in money orders you have to go get money orders physically take them down to get this process started but all in all it's gonna cost you about 400 bucks so just keep that in mind another question if you're self-employed is that gonna be a problem no I'm actually self-employed but they do stipulate you can't carry this for work purposes so I'm assuming and I hate saying I'm assuming because it's not accurate information but I'm assuming they don't want you like taking this to your nine-to-five right like if you work at Michael's or Donald's you should not be carrying concealed I'm self-employed as a real estate agent and a real estate investor I carry this all the time every day now I'm not working all the time every day like at a project or in the field but I definitely carry this all the time how many guns can you have on your permit three three max and you need all three guns there with you the day you go to the range so when you when you fill in all your paperwork and you pass the background check they're gonna schedule you for a range day it's gonna be it depends right if they have an opening it'll be a lot sooner than a couple months mine happened to take place a couple months later because I didn't have the gun I wanted to qualify with and because I live in California the law suck I'm limited on the size and options of guns I can carry this myth and Wesson is one of the smaller guns that I have access to you so I needed to purchase this first in order to take it to the range and qualify I also qualified with a Glock 30 which I haven't even carried yet because it's a little thicker than this gun and this just seems to fit me a little bit better because I'm a heavier set guy so this is ideal for the moment and until something changes I'll probably always carry this proof of residency they want to verify that you have lived in San Bernardino for or at least you're a permanent resident of San Bernardino whether that means you own your home or you're leasing a home they're gonna verify where you in fact live they're gonna want to see documentation proving that and they're gonna look at your entire history of where you've lived so they wanted me to state on the application where I grew up where I've lived where I've lived for the last like ten years because they really want to make sure that you're fully document before they issue you a permit to carry a concealed weapon what is what is involved with the interview process so the interview process was kind of it sounded intimidating to me because I wasn't sure what this interview process meant like are they gonna interrogate me am I gonna go down there and have to defend myself you know verbally are they gonna ask me all these weird questions no it was actually just the opposite I literally walked in with all my paperwork and I handed it over to an officer who was working at the counter and they took my photo because you need a photo for your concealed carry ID and he asked me a couple random questions which which pertained to the actual application itself so they would just want to make sure you filled out all the paperwork correctly so there's no delays and I think the only item that I didn't fill out correctly was my reason to obtain a concealed carry permit and the first words out of my mouth were self-defense and his reply was that's not sufficient and it's not detailed enough so that kind of caught me off guard so I was really thinking I was like okay what can I say and he's like you know what I think you need your concealed carry permit because the laws are changing dramatically in the area and you feel the need that you want to protect your family and your neighborhood from those who are willing to hurt you in any way shape or form I was like dude that is perfect write that down so it's kind of nice it he probably runs into this situation on occasion where people just don't fill that out correctly and that was a good indicator that their pro-gun or at least Pro having you get a permit so he wanted me to be as successful and completing my application and seeing the process through to the end another question I saw what can you can you have like a red dot on your on your weapon or any kind of modification and I'm gonna leave that up to you guys you you can have anything on your on your weapon as long as it's gonna stay on your weapon if that kind of makes sense so this doesn't have any modified sights I haven't modified this gun in any way however I was looking into modifications and I was listening to a couple attorneys talk about modification mark modified guns and if you do run into that rare occasion where you have to use your firearm and this gun is modified they will look look into that and take that into consideration so if your gun says you know today's the day you die or you know whatever that may be or it's got like a little skull on the back you know that's it kind of looks bad right because they're like hey why do you have a skull on the back you know why does it have verbage what does this mean etc etc especially if you use this and kill somebody I mean that could that could not be very favorable for you again this guns empty so so I don't recommend you guys modify the crap out of your weapon unless it's for functionality purposes so maybe like night sights um I'm not gonna carry a weapon with a light just because it adds bulk to the gun so my guns gonna stay soft I may modify the sights eventually but for right now everything is working fine for me what do you need to take to your class that was another question so I kind of got the idea that the class the classes they have in San Bernardino for your for a shooting class are far and few between so they probably do them maybe every couple months so the class is pretty large I think our class had about 200 people in it you're gonna need to take the weapon or weapons you're gonna qualify with up to three of them and you're gonna have to have a new box of ammunition for each weapon so if you have a 9-millimeter for instance you're gonna need a new box of ammunition they're gonna make you shoot 10 10 rounds with two magazines so they're gonna have five rounds in one magazine you're I don't even know if it's 5 yards from the target it's it's nearly impossible to fail this test so you're gonna have five rounds you're gonna shoot five rounds in the target specified and you're gonna have to wait until they tell you to shoot that's extremely important if you start shooting no one said shoot you can easily get disqualified and fail this test once you shoot your 5 rounds you're gonna drop the magazine load another magazine and shoot the additional 5 rounds on the target and then you're gonna do that for each gun so again up to three guns you got qualified with all three guns it doesn't matter on the size you can take a small gun you take the big gun day night guys there that 1911's big Glocks like like this this is a 17 I saw guys with 21 I didn't see anything real crazy huge I think the 1911 was like the biggest gun a couple big six hours and maybe a couple large revolvers but you got to remember that you're gonna be carrying this and you want to stay as comfortable as possible and I think last but not least someone wanted to see what the what the ID actually looks like what the permit card looks like and I'm gonna go into this a little further I'm gonna show my my address but it looks kind of like that almost looks like a driver's license actually got stopped a week ago with a gun on me and by the sheriff's in Los Angeles and they were not happy that they had to give me my gun back but that would be my next video I'm gonna try and make that real soon get this uploaded but love any feedback if you guys have any questions or concerns shooting my way I'm gonna try and do my best to answer everything I can alright thanks Susan [Music]

How can I eSign a contract?

E-signing a contract with airSlate SignNow is fast, easy, and secure. It’s a robust solution for electronically signing and managing documents, contracts and forms. All you have to do is create your account, import a contract, add signature fields (My Signature and/or Signature Field), and send the contract to recipients. When a recipient receives the contract, all they have to do is open their email, click the invitation to sign, create their eSignature, and execute the field you assigned to them. After every party has executed their signature field(s), airSlate SignNow will automatically send everyone involved an executed copy of the contract.

What is the difference between an in-person signature and an electronic signature?

In-person signing refers to the older more time-consuming process of printing out samples, meeting with other parties to the agreement, wet signing, sending the agreement via mail or scanning it into the computer to send via email, and then storing the hard copies. E-signing is the much faster process of creating an electronic signature in an eSignature program like airSlate SignNow, adding signature fields, assigning roles, and sending the agreement for signing to other parties involved right from airSlate SignNow. The difference between in-person and electronic signatures is in their convenience, speed, and price. By using airSlate SignNow to create an eSignature, you don't need to leave your home or office. You can even eSign forms or contracts while on the go!

How can I add a personal signature to a PDF?

If you want to sign a PDF file electronically, without printing it, right on your device, airSlate SignNow is a great solution to use. It allows you to draw your handwritten signature, save it, and use it over and over for every new document that you need to sign.
