hi gang its Alan Stewart with simple IDEO here to share with you some information on how to incorporate the link to your online video as well as a copy of the disclosure forms available from the real estate council into the signature field of your emails so let's get started with that I'm doing this in response to Beto cavion ease request to do so and so I'm going to use hers as an example you will have received from us a email that says your new disclosure representation and trading services form is live at and it's gonna have a link here you're just gonna click on that link and it will open it up and from here you're gonna download the video so you'll see this button here it says download you're gonna download the video download the highest resolution possible it doesn't take very long and it just keeps up a better quality of video when we upload it to YouTube which we're gonna do for you shortly here so that's downloading that to to our computer you mine is already done so it depends on the speed of your internet service provider but mine is already downloaded to my computer from there what we want to do is upload that to YouTube so the windows you want to have open here is your email your Gmail inbox youtube.com the other window you're gonna want to have open for later reference is just a Google search window you're going to type in disclosure of representation and trading services form and up will come the PDF from the real estate Council of BC so you're going to click on that and there's our link to the online form that we're gonna want to share with our consumers from YouTube here we're gonna want to click on our user icon here at the top right hand corner not the very top right but the second one down and we're gonna go to YouTube studio beta this is where you're gonna upload videos to your channel so now what we want to do is upload this video I'm gonna click on upload video you can choose either upload video beta or the standard upload it says either drag and drop the file or just select the file which will pop up our window here showing our download folder which is where we've saved Beados video so I'm going to click on Beto's video I'm going to say open and it's gonna upload that video to YouTube and look how quickly it's happening it's almost finished we're at 20 percent already title shows up here video cavion ease disclosure of representation and trading services form it asks for a description and we've added one for you into your Vimeo channel so I'm just going to go and open that up again so here it is down below here it says a complimentary introduction to the real estate councils form you can use that one or any other so I just highlight it all right click and say copy I'm gonna go back into our channel dashboard this now I'm gonna click Next it's gonna say advanced settings I wouldn't put anything in here if people are searching for videos you could you could maybe type in here the disclosure of representation and trading services form I typically just put in a real estate education I hit next and now we want to make sure everyone can see it so we choose public and before we check out here we're just going to copy this link so this is going to be our first video on our youtube channel you may have others I'm going to copy the link to Beados video disclosure video I'm going to copy that by clicking on these little buttons here and that's copied it to our clipboard I'm gonna say publish and lo and behold we have our first video uploaded onto YouTube you can share this using Facebook Twitter blogger etc etc etc we're gonna close that now and there's our first video on YouTube so now we've got the the link for our YouTube video here we want to go into our settings now so I'm going to go in here into our gmail inbox and I'm gonna build my email signature you may already have one so we're gonna add to it if you haven't got one already so I'm gonna click settings I'm gonna click settings again and I'm gonna scroll down to the section relating to email signatures you can see here that I've already got a link to our website on the email signature I'm going to delete everything so I can show you how to do it I usually put one space in between because I want the signature to come after the text that I've typed and I'm going to type in here you're simply the Oh team you could put in your name typically is what people would close it off with if you're doing an email going out directly from you I'm gonna put in our website simply do calm but I want people to go to that website so what I'm gonna do is select it and then choose this button right here it's called link it's gonna link to a URL again one of these addresses for a particular website I click the link and it says where do you want to go it knows that that's already a website so it says go to this link and that's exactly what I want to have happen I'm gonna put in my phone number and then what beedo had asked is that I incorporate here this disclosure representation and trading services video and form link that goes in at the tail end of my real estate emails so I'm gonna paste that in there disclosure of representation training services and then I want to choose a link to this video so I'm gonna go link again and remember we've got Beados URL already copied and saved into our into our memory bank if we don't just go back here to your video and copy that now I'm going to go paste that into this URL so that's Beto's video link I'm gonna say ok so now there's a link to the video and now to this forum so if I click on the disclosure of representation and trading services forum the real estate council is kindly uploaded for us I'm just gonna highlight all that hit ctrl my right mouse button copy so I'm copying that into my memory bank coming back here and now I want to put a link to that here where it says forms I'm highlighting it clicking link and now I want to paste that in by going right click paste and now there's the form link so we've got this little sentence at the end of every email that goes out it's going to say disclosure of representation and trading services video and form now make sure to save this so I'm just gonna go Save Changes and I'm going to send myself a video or an email so we can have a look at it so I'm going to send one to simply do test email with links and you can see that it dumped in our new signature at the tail end here you're simply do team it's got a link to the website if I clicked on that it would take us to the website as well it's got this disclosure of representation and trading services now we're gonna send that off to a consumer and this is what they would receive on their end and what's nice about it is for you using Gmail as it incorporates this little video link down at the bottom of the email so they don't have to actually open up YouTube to go and get it if they click on that it's just gonna play it right inside their gmail account thank you for the opportunity to present to you the disclosure of representation and trading services form realtor and there's Beto's video they go back to the email and they can respond to it or reply however they like and you've got that email here and when they want to get the form they can just click on the form button and up comes the real estate council's
