[Narrator] A plan of integrated system design. First, we look at assessing water. Where is our potential for holding water? Where is our potential for capturing water for rehydration and soakage. Ponds hold water, swells capture water. Stop it, spread it, and soak it. And wind can be used to pump water with windmills. Access needs to be assessed, access on to a property and access through a property. And that can be quite extensive because our property can be designed to being very productive. And we need to integrate our access throughout our property 'cause it's all potential for productivity. And structures need to be positioned, our main structures, our workshops, our animal housing, and storage, possibly visitor accommodation, even structures for children's entertainment. From some of these structures we also gain water from the rooms with rainwater collection tanks, positioned to gain high-quality water. Zones need to be defined in relation to how close to the human habitat and activity, we have main structures. Then, secondary zones, out from there in relation to distance and land use and out to outer zones and out across property. Slope needs to be defined. Angles of slope, and orientation in relation to the direction in which a property faces. Client requirements, does the client require particular elements? Children's playground, vegetable gardens specifically. Sale of produce, possibly on the street front, recreation areas, staff and visitor accommodation, specific irrigation, pasture, fish production in water, woodlot and windbreak, a cash crop of vines possibly. These are client requirements and can be quite extensive, but together this makes up a total design.
