Integrate initial copy

I want to show you an easy way to make copies of your integrations an integration manager what I found is that exporting and importing integration doesn't work that well however importing does work well so what I do is I make a copy of my integration database and then I import from that to create duplicates of ones that I already have in there so let's take a look at it the first thing you need to do is figure out what your integration manager database is so to do that you go to tools go to options this is the path right here and at the end you'll see the actual database that stores the integration so let's drill into that here I've got the one that I'm using right here I'm just going to copy that and paste it it will make a copy of that I'm just going to leave that cuz really all I want to do is use this copy to import from in to my existing database of integrations so let's go back here and next thing I want to do is import so to import I go to file import integrations I'm gonna find the copy that I just made I'm gonna open that up and then I'm gonna select the one that I want to make a copy of so what I want to do is I just want to make a copy of this customer here I've got an integration but I want to make another copy of it just so I have around and I might change it a little bit so I'm going to import that and if it detects a duplicate it's gonna ask for a new name so what I'm gonna do is just change the name here hit OK it's also gonna ask it's also going to want to change the name of the query that's in the integration so I can change that here as well or just accept the default so I hit OK and then I'm done so now if I go back and look at my integrations I've got the new one that I just added which is this one here and then value of doing it this way is not only is it simpler but it also retains the queries so I've got the query it's already matched in there I've got the mappings already done so this is an easy way to duplicate integrations with an integration manager [Music]
