hello everyone to today's 15th seminar in the frame of our international online seminar on interval methods in control engineering and it's my really great pleasure to welcome danielle wilczak today daniel wilcheck is professor at uh of computer science at the university of leonski of krakovia in poland and yes he received his phd degree from the same university in 2003 and afterwards he spent a couple of years in international research stays partially in norway that was the university of bergen and in sweden the university of uppsala where at both places he worked together with warwick tucker he's also a very well-known scientist in our area and is daniel is one of the main developers of the cipd software library and yes that library will also be in the core of today's presentation where daniel will report about very validated integration techniques for odes we're looking forward to your presentation daniel thank you to all of you for coming and to answer us for this nice uh present introduction um actually i asked andreas to choose the topic of this presentation and he suggested me to choose validated integration for of variational equations because this topic may be of high interest to engineers and the algorithms actually are pretty old the the first algorithm we developed is 20 years old but the application proves to be very these are going to prove to be very useful in study dynamics and i hope will be also interesting to engineers so this is the outline of my presentation i start from introduction to what clc1 algorithms are and they are also very efficient in combination with computation of concurrent maps and their derivatives and after that i will introduce you to capd library which implements all these algorithms and the library provides opens for computations of higher order versions of spell differential inclusion etc but i will focus today on c1 algorithms then i will be able to show you some very easy and non-trivial examples by very easy i mean that the entire code takes just one screen one screen so i will be able to show you the entire code and the application will be to study hyperbolic periodic orbits for odes solving boundary value problems and even prove the existence of attractor of uh of the russell system and collecting orbits and in the end i would like to show you some two two non non-trivial applications and in this case i will be not able to show you the entire code mainly because of the time of computations and the code of this example is very very very long um so let me start from the introduction to c1 solvers the problems you are going to solve is the ordinary differential equations this can be time dependent and i skip this to simplify the notation and the first order variational equation is of that form so we are going to compute derivatives space derivatives of...
