hi this is ed from the zip guys here with another helpful zip tip today we'll be going over how to use zip community to allow your sellers to complete their disclosures once you have opened your transaction click on the parties tab from the transaction summary page on each party's tile you will see the share icon in the bottom right corner click this to set up the collaboration with your clients choose the documents that you would like your clients to have access to then at the top of the window we will set the permissions of this private share the first permission that you will see is form editing it is important to remember that this role based form filling feature allows only the seller one role in the transaction to be given editing permissions next we can give our client the ability to upload documents directly into the transaction using this secure encrypted portal the stop share date is set to 30 days by default click save and send to move on if we would like to add a custom message to be sent along with the collaboration invitation we can do that at this point otherwise click send our share invitation has now been sent our client will receive this email inviting them to collaborate then they click on the view documents link in the email they will be brought to this login screen for zip community if this is their first time logging in they can create an account from this screen otherwise our client will enter in their credentials and then click sign in the client will click on the document tab to get their disclosure forms when they open up the form they can use the full screen button to see the form better the form is now open for them to complete explanations can be entered as well once the client saves the document you as the agent will be able to access it in your account notice this example that the client's response in paragraph 5 was too long for the space provided in the document we can select the preview button to see what the final document will look like the preview shows that the text overflow addendum has been added to the document automatically upon scrolling we can see the client's complete response on the toa stay tuned for more helpful zip tips from the zip guys
