hello everybody how's it going john here from incomes.com and in today's video i want to answer a question from somebody who posted in a group let me show you the question right here where basically she was trying to figure out how to wrap her head around the idea of two different systems working together and they weren't really designed to work together so how does she solve this problem in a nutshell she has a membership site on member press which is a wordpress-based solution it's a plug-in it protects your pages takes payment does all this cool stuff okay so you've got this already set up and she already has students she has a business which is thriving she also has been a smart person and investigated influencer soft which is one of the tools i do use and recommend here on this channel and she didn't know how to create an ecosystem or how to make these two platforms work together okay so in this video i want to help you out specifically with this situation but also in more of a bigger picture mindset of how to work out two different systems that don't natively work together what can you do and i'll give you three options on how to handle this right now but before we dive into it you know i'm gonna go and ask and beg and plead go ahead subscribe to the channel we recently reached over 10 000 subscribers would love to get it to a hundred thousand it really helps me out and i appreciate you in advance for doing that okay let's go ahead and dive in here i'm gonna share my screen of my ipad because i like to draw that's what i do i'm really bad at it but i like to draw so before we talk about the different solutions let's talk about the problem all right so i have drawn up here on the screen these two systems so in this example here we've got system a and we're going to pretend this is like the member press system where it locks a whole bunch of content based on a transaction happening and it can take payments and do everything else fill in whatever is right for you if you've got a different system if you use teachable or if you have convertkit sales whatever the case might be you've got system a and then you've got system b over here and this might be something where you want to start either a new business or you want to extend on your existing business but the tools you already have don't get everything done for you that you need so is there a way for these two systems to work together i guess you can tell from the tone of my voice yes there is a way and we're going to cover those different methods there but just to kind of let you know...
