hey guys in this video I'm going to show you 10 websites that pay you $200 or more to write a blog post this is for 2019 and currently these are all working and allowing you to submit so the first website is called 2+2 you can go to 2+2 comm all spelled out no numbers and it's a poker website do they have a big forum they also allow you to write long blog posts of 1000 to 2000 words and they pay around $200 per article this is the submissions page here in the show notes which is at the link in the YouTube description I will have links directly to all of these contribute pages where you can submit your articles so that you can go straight to those pages but you'll notice that it says 200 dollars per article right here after the article has been published and it tells you to submit your article to magazine at 2+2 dot-com and here is another tip for you I recommend that before you try to submit anything to these websites you want to make sure and look at the ones that have been published successfully so you have an idea of the format and the types of topics that these websites are going for so here's an example of a part of an article on 2+2 magazine calm or just 2 + 2 calm but the magazine section is basically where the blog posts are here and don't notice they don't have a lot of images they don't have like quotes they have kind of longer paragraphs and they're kind of old-school in a way with their website and their blogs another website you can go to is long reads calm and if you go to long reads calm slash submissions you can see where to submit your guest blog post and this is a journalism type website and it's actually owned by the people behind WordPress and they go kind of deep into stories and analysis and stuff like that but $250 for submissions that are around $1,000 $500 for longer essays and you know that's pretty much how their pricing is so you can send stuff to their email that they have on the page here again $250 for 800 to 1000 word articles as you can see right there and you can't even possibly make a deal to submit fairly often like weekly with them and so they'll have of course information about what kind of stuff they're looking for they have 2,000 to 3,000 words all so that would be more like 500 dollars and featured ones which are 3000 to 6000 words I'm not sure looks like they pay about $1,500 for those so they have book reviews a book excerpts author interviews bookish essays long-form reported or research book features they have features long form journalism investigative projects they have other types of essays that's the kind of stuff they are looking for and of course I always recommend that you read the entire contribute page and you also look at the other blog posts that have been published on the website so you have this one right here is an example and you'll know this is a pretty long one they do have a quote here to kind of break up the paragraphs they have mostly longer paragraphs with just a few quotes in this particular post but you know the format is fairly basic kind of old-school they still have long format paragraphs and things like that whereas a lot of newer blogs and stuff have very short paragraphs lots of images and those types of things another website you can go to is Photoshop tutorials WS is another one where you can go and get these different types of articles published and get paid between 50 to 300 dollars for post now you can do a quick tip post for 50 dollars and you can earn up to 300 dollars by doing a full tutorial and again obviously this is going to be all about how to use Photoshop and you submit them here on the tutorial submissions page and click Submit tutorials right there or submit articles and roundups here which are 25 to 50 dollars each that they pay so as far as going to an actual example here there's one right here this is what a quick tip 1 looks like so you have kind of examples via images of what you're doing you have the step by step processes more headlines shorter paragraphs that's kind of what an article looks like for them as a quick tip and then they have longer tutorials as well another one is the travel writers life which of course is all about traveling and writing making money from that and you can talk about writing photography tours all kinds of stuff travel related and you'll notice that if you scroll down here they pay 50 to $75 for articles we request for the website one hundred one hundred and fifty dollars for interviews and personal stories and 150 to 200 dollars for articles with specific income advice a reader can print and follow to earn more income and again this is about writing photography stuff you can do like while traveling those types of kind of online businesses and stuff that you can do and so this is kind of an example it's kind of weird because you can go to articles and it might be at a different domain from them but here's kind of an example here like a camera that you can use to take photos for your photography business while you're traveling that's kind of stuff so that's kind of example here you know and if you're gonna write about photography obviously you'll do more like photos and probably less text in your articles here's one about a company called cracked and if you want to write for them they have all kinds of stuff they have stuff about films inventions just a lot of like entertaining type of articles and they will pay you as well and if you scroll down here on their submissions page and if you scroll down here on their submissions page you'll notice that they have like fowling articles start at $100 each then after you've done a few for them specifically on your fourth or so they'll pay you about $200 for your articles and you get paid via PayPal and you can also promote like a book or a blog or something as well so you get a lot of benefits for writing for cracked and an example of an article that's been published by them successfully is 629 teen movies with crazy behind-the-scenes drama so just kind of entertaining type stuff like that is what they're looking for and you can kind of see they have a slightly different format than what you might be used to seeing from a typical blog a lot of ads a lot of list posts and stuff like that another one is kind of tutorial based so this is more if you know about this specific type of coding for instance you can go to Tut's plus com all spelled out and this is a website that has stuff to do with coding tutorials if you write a tutorial for them they pay quite a bit of money you can make you know you like for instance their rates start a hundred dollars for a quick tip tutorial $250 per regular tutorial and some of them even make as much as seven hundred dollars per month from them obviously that's probably multiple tutorials and things like that but you can pitch a tutorial by following this format right here and then use this form at the bottom there's a link right there it says send the above using this form and that's how you can submit to them now this same website has multiple tutorial submission pages so I'll show you each submission page and you may even be able to do this in video format and then send a blog post with a video embedded so you might have to just kind of talk to them about that but some of their tutorials do involve videos that are embedded in a blog post and then you also have stuff that's like wordpress related you have vector stuff you have here's the wordpress one WordPress tuts plus so you know you can kind of write these different things and get paid maybe as much as $250 per tutorial and that's a great way to just turn that into some income so again as far as like an example this is an example right here so you have like a beauteous component concepts this is a tutorial involving a video that you could do so another thing you can do is write for International Living magazine and International Living of course has to do with retirement investing real estate stuff like that living around the world maybe retiring in a different country that might save you some money a lot of people do stuff like that now so they'll pay you again for submitting articles they'll pay you two hundred twenty-five dollars for a nine hundred word article $350 for a 1600 word article and $50 for one-time use and that's for photographs so you can kind of contact them at their submissions page there here's an example of what one looks like grocery shopping in Ecuador what it's really like so a lot of times this is for people that are like Americans or something or you know maybe in a expensive country to live in and then they retire somewhere else that's cheaper and you know maybe somewhere in South America like you know some people go to Costa Rica or Panama or whatever or some people retire maybe in the Caribbean somewhere so they look for those types of articles another blog that you can submit to is SitePoint and you can write about HTML CSS and other coding languages here they pay a hundred and fifty dollars for articles and two hundred dollars for tutorials they are also willing to pay three hundred dollars or more for articles and tutorials that are linked Theor and you can do three articles or tutorials per month and they'll give you 450 to 600 dollars per month and supplementary income so great place to make some extra money and if you can just find a few sites like this you can make a full-time living just writing guest posts and then if you want to see an example of what one looks like here's one it's called twelve little-known CSS facts so this is just like a regular list post this is more of like how modern blog posts are you know you see shorter paragraphs you see a lot of examples and images and headlines and those types of things then you have one called metro parent which of course has to do with parenting and family type content and their guidelines you can see here and they'll have stuff like 1200 to 2500 word articles that are $200 or more they have some other stuff that's really short they'll pay $40 or more for that which they call the pipeline they have kids 101 and that would be my like 600 words they'll pay $50 for that so they have a whole breakdown of all these different ones and how much they pay but if you want to make the higher end ones 1200 to 2500 words is what they're looking for and you can of course read the rest of this here different topics that they're looking for based on times of the year as well and here's an article that got published just called summer fun and learning guide and you can kind of see what an article that is published on here actually looks like and it's just pretty basic and then last but not least we have digital ocean this is another one you can write for and apply to do guest posts for and make at least $200 or so but they actually pay you $300 or up to $400 for tutorial type content and so if you can find a few tutorial websites and you're good at like coding or something that can be a really good way to make some money writing because a lot of these sites are looking for specific tutorials so they'll pay up to $400 they also match with nonprofits and charities however much they pay you they match and pay that to the the charities and stuff which is really cool and then you can apply by following these directions down here you'll also tell you about how they include it in tweets to 150,000 followers and stuff like that to kind of build your credibility so here's an example of one a tutorial about Python which of course is the programming language that they're covering in this particular post and again it's a basic tutorial they show you the code they're using you know kind of a list post format with lots of examples so other than that you can check the the play list there in the top right of the video for more stuff like this and it will tell you more I will have more videos for you about making money writing and making money online doing all kinds of stuff and you can check that out right there or you can also go to the show notes page there's a link to that in the YouTube description that will take you straight to the page on self-made success.com that has all the links to these contribution submit your articles for these different websites and other than that hope this was helpful for you and I will see you in the next video
