Mark travel planning registration

all right well welcome everybody again thank you for for taking some time tonight uh just to touch base with uh any of our updates going with cobed and of course uh feel free to ask questions as we go through the different topics and we'll have some time at the end too uh to answer some questions as well um and then always we're always available um if you want to reach out to us during the week um we can definitely um uh be able to answer questions at that time frame too so um we'll start off the way we always start and we'll take a look at the map um all right so our map uh i actually i was a little bit tricked by it by before i dig dug into a little bit more um so initially it doesn't look like there's a ton uh changing but actually if you look at um actually look at the numbers and you look at the side here um we actually have um sorry i got muted um so um you actually look there's actually a a a lot of counties that are shrinking and the good news is that there's no counties this we are in this this last week that we are seeing growth in so again numbers aren't exactly where we want them to be but they are trending in the right direction this is this is your chart about your daily cases if you look at these are kind of they're starting to go down too so hopefully that would mean that the overall burden number is going to catch up as we keep going so um just a reminder for the the navy blue uh uh counties are the ones that are okay to be in phase one um the lighter blue ones are the ones that are below 350 and uh would be able to go into um phase two after a couple weeks of practice and petition for it but those would also be the ones would be able to travel for estate games um so and i know we'll get to uh what we're looking like for the events coming up here so but this is always a good check-in point for this we have one county that um buffalo county that's critically high so that would be if any any agencies in that would not be able to um be practicing at this point but otherwise statewide we're looking good trajectory was down 32 percent from last week we're still in the very high but again we're turning in the right direction i've been keep monitoring marathon county since that's the host for winter games that one has gone down since last week as well um it's just all going to depend on how quickly um everything can go uh those numbers can get down that's going to make our decisions on some of these things so uh that was that's our quick check in on the map again um this is just off of the wisconsin department of health services website um and you just look underneath the uh the cova 19 disease activity and you can find this map and you can click on different counties he said i've been looking at marathon county it'll pull it up it'll tell me what the numbers are and what the trajectory is so 515.8 and shrinking um so again higher than we'd like it to be but also heading the right direction so um i'll stop shooting that and then um pop the agenda here so uh winter games update kind of going transition into that um so we're still planning on on on it happening again it's all going to be dependent on coven numbers um and our our decision date we're aiming at is the same as the registration deadline um looking at february 1st to make a call on um if we need to cancel it or not based on covid numbers granted it is winner games and our games can be finicky so you know you know there is still a chance that we were to say we're going ahead with winter games and then mother nature decides to go against us uh but at this point um like i said that's our decision date just so we can give people enough heads up time for um planning as far as booking hotels all that type of stuff but also um not trying to call it right now because it's still a little ways off as far as and this the cover numbers kind of tend to change week to week so we want to make sure that we're getting as much information as we can leading up to that decision um we did uh send out um last week that you should have gotten the winter games forms so we have multiple options for winter games um there's the the state winner games uh you can go to the in-person competition in wasa and that would be um you know we have normally normal years we've we've skimmed back again the events so we can manage the size of participants there um and the biggest one that's going to affect a snowshoe we're going to keep it within 50 people per shift so we'll have multiple shifts if need be for that um the skiing uh the the big change in skiing which again was not covered related um was the events offered so um not offering the super g but replacing it with the unified events for the other two events um so um and and so that gives athletes opportunity to do more runs than normal year and if you do not have a unified partner we have a unified ski or we have a ski team that volunteers there that would be able to fill in in unified spots for those so that's for the in-person competition we also uh there are forms for in-practice competitions so for agencies who are practicing winter games and either would like to do the in practice competition and the in person or would just don't feel comfortable traveling or aren't able to travel you do have an option for competition you would submit your uh roster and qualifying times um at on the [Music] february 1st deadline we would then division your athletes with athletes who also registered for in practice from across the state um and then you would submit a final time by the 21st of february and then we that we place your athletes uh we'll give it a placement based on the divisions that they were in based on the qualifying scores uh we would still do virtual events and we'd still our virtual awards and we would still uh send out your awards to your the head coach for your agency so that the athletes would be receiving medals and ribbons like they would going to the state games again you can do both the in practice and the in-person competition you do not have to choose um so if there are if there are agencies who are planning on going out to wausau uh you can still do the end practice one and your athletes can get essentially two medals for the events there that they would be running going in um the only thing that if you're doing both you cannot use your state winner games in person times as your final score time you need to do one in practice um so because the idea is that we want you doing it on the same course um that you did your qualifying time um that was so you would be uh you would have until the 21st to do your time so you could be doing them the week prior to state winning games if you wanted to do that so those are your those are the options that we've we've sent out already um does anybody have any questions with the forms that came out or anything i just mentioned all tonight um all right up next i have a bowling league update so uh nicole michaela yeah so um the registration deadline for the bowling league was this past sunday so we received lots of registrations um from across the state we'll have close to 200 athletes participating um in the league this time so hopefully competition and divisioning will be um high quality with so many athletes um so just a couple reminders if you have not turned in a registration form and you do plan on bowling please contact myself or michaela as soon as possible and our emails will be included in the wrap-up email for the most part all the athletes are clear so for the most part all the athletes are clear on medicals but we are still missing a handful of covid participation waivers um so if you know that some athletes are missing that um or we will contact you directly if you do have any athletes that are missing that form just make sure to collect it on the first day of practice before they kind of start practice or enter practice and then the official competition will start on monday so the new weekly score sheets were sent out either today or will be tomorrow so the only change from the fall bowling league is that the we do ask you to put the date of the games gold on the top column in that spreadsheet so there is an example spreadsheet included um so you can kind of see like if an athlete misses a week for example just leave that column blank and then put their score in with the appropriate date um so that should help us kind of keep track of for scores if anybody needs to um suspend practice we'll be able to fill in um scores as needed so um i think that's it for bowling does anybody have any questions before we start next week and you said that that form was going to be emailed out or it has been emailed out now yep i think i sent yours today mark so if you haven't received it um let me know and i can send it again i've got a whole lot of emails i haven't had a chance to time to go through yet yeah so it should be in there um and if you don't get it by the end of the day tomorrow feel free to contact michaela or i um say that you have that ready when you start next week when is the um awards for bowling i don't have it right here yeah so the awards are going to be on on tuesday march 16th um i assume it'll be 6 p.m we haven't really set a time yet um and then with just the number of bowlers we might need to split it out into multiple virtual ceremonies so we'll kind of get more details on that as we get closer but the date will be tuesday march 16th and the league the last day to submit scores for the league will be that previous sunday march 14th anybody else all right thanks nicole [Music] um all right and then i have a couple more of the sports updates i wanted to follow through on our conversation that we were having last meeting two weeks ago about basketball skills uh based on the input that we got from our meeting and then some additional conversations we had and just looking at numbers um we're going towards the idea of having two state basketball skills tournaments so one northern which looks like it's going to be in probably it looks like it's probably going to be in wausau and then one southern one which looks like it's going to be we're finalizing it but it's going to be closer to the milwaukee area at this point we do have another option but kind of trying to figure out what venues are available and the size that we need for those and the decision was made based on the number of programs not having venues yet uh obviously the coping numbers and then um then also just the number of athletes participating um it didn't um it didn't make sense to have um you know six different um different uh district tournaments that lead into a state tournament with with the number of athletes i think we're anticipating a little bit over 200 um and so we're able to do that um and then um uh so we'll be looking at doing that and we're looking at changing the time frame so bumping it back a month from what was before so we're looking at the last two weekends of april um for our date so we'll get the venues and and the dates out as soon as they're they're confirmed um but so that would put us in the last two weeks of april for basketball skills and then that would then that would adjust our summer sports district competitions we are still planning on hosting them in may to accommodate some of the school programs to at least have the one competition to be able to go to and then that would push our state competitions for track um swimming in soccer towards the last couple of weeks of june and then we'd be right back onto our normal schedule july on with um district softball state t-ball and regional bocce going on in july and then ost happening the first saturday of august so again this is all based off of the conversation we were having venues availability and the coveted numbers um and i know so i don't know if that i know that will help some programs be able to get into basketball skills i do also understand that they may hinder some programs into participating with basketball skills again once we have confirmed dates for basketball skills swimming and track we'll make sure we get those out and updated for everybody um it's just kind of a fluid thing with baekhovic going so i wanted to update everybody with what's going on with that does anybody have any questions with that change so have you thought about the state games as far as a northern one and a sectional one for track so at this yeah so at this point it we're we'll be doing the the dish like the regional meets like we normally would and just doing a one one day track meet just a singular one not a northern southern at this point and i think that was mike stewart asked that one too yep go ahead who is this dave mccoy um jason do you have any idea when you may be having a swim meet for for for district or for state uh last i heard you weren't going to do states so both so so districts were we're anticipating um and i think amber was on here too i know there's appreciate we're reaching out to venues right now to see what are what are what changes we need to make but we'd be anticipating sometime in may for uh swimming and then a state meet would be in the last two weeks of june and it would be again just like track it'd be a single day swim meet um and it would be a one for the state so we'd be advancing a certain amount based on quota like we normally would it would all depend on the number of athletes registered thank you um i'll go back to this real quick and i can answer more questions on that i did get asked for winter games uh for winter games uh award ceremony uh in any activities so we're looking at awards for winter games it's the tuesday after which i think it's february 23rd um would be the awards and then we're still finalizing any of the additional stuff that with it that's with that that would also work for that would be the same date time that we would do for in practice people who are doing it in practice rather than going in person we would do both award ceremonies at the same time so uh it would i believe we're probably shooting for about six o'clock on the 23rd which is tuesday night for that and then as we get through i think we're you know we're trying to figure out our plans based on if we have uh you know in person competition or or not for the other activities with that but my assumption would be we would utilize that night the 23rd of february for winter game stuff um so there's so that's uh that's an option there so um just want to answer that question because it came to the chat um anybody else have any questions about the the the modification of the of the first half of the year schedule and it it really is our intention to try to stick to one of these schedules but again just like everything coveted related um if something came up um if something popped up and the numbers spiked for another you know another time or um then we may have would have to adjust but um we're trying to keep it so we're not changing a schedule on you guys every other week here so um that is our intention um hannah asked about softball schedule softball would be like a normal year it will look like districts somewhere in that second week of july and then state would happen in august at carroll university that first weekend i think it's uh august 7th of state um and your region your district would depend on your region oops sorry go ahead bev jake unmute yourself and then you can go next so we're kind of on the coved schedule hopefully until we get to bocce softball um i don't know what else is at osi um tennis we don't have tennis and then flag football so about that time we're hoping to go back to normal scheduling where i mean we would have said yes we that's kind of the plan right now is that we're we're making our decisions right now for the first half of the year knowing that a lot can change between now and june but yeah the plan right now is that we'd be back on a normal schedule for the second half of the year and that's that's just you know again with the way covet numbers are trending and then the uh it depends on how quickly the vaccine gets through as far as what we can and can't do and and all that stuff but we'll keep it up to that but um but yeah that's the plan right now is that we're only adjusting the first half of the year at this point so no need to you know that i think that's our biggest thing right now is we've known how much change is month to month so there's no need to change things in august quite yet but we you know obviously as we keep going we always have with cove it's kind of forced us to always have a b c d plans we're going to try to make the best informed decisions on those so um and then um again you have polar plunges uh events uh again if you have questions on those uh feel free to reach out to the your regional development pers people um uh just like every other year there's the uh the agency kickback for for funds raised for that um but um so if you have not as an agency you register for polar plunge and you normally would or would you like to uh highly recommend doing that um and if you have thank you for doing that and hopefully uh we have the two options to do them in person and also there's an at home option as well so um keep those in mind as you think about your your yearly uh fundraising goals too and also we're doing something new this year as far as the power plunge goes we are doing a cheer for champion campaign what was that like to the regions we are doing a cheer for champion campaign for each of the regions and they s and everybody is i guess one athlete from each region is accepted that's what um my region 2f um direct director said is that true i brittany's on it mark's nodding his head yeah they're they're gonna similar to the um champions run now i can't remember the name of the run that we just did virtual run series that's the one um similar to that we're highlighting athletes from all the different regions and using that to help boost our uh polar plunge presence and i'm one of them um i think jake casper had a question and then there's also a good question in the chat that we should address um jake you want to go ahead bud i was just wondering for time frame time frame for what the track and field for the actual regional track meet in region six um i don't know if region six is as confirmed as far as a date goes but we are looking at essentially it's going to be looking at mid to end of may working around the the the conference that we have scheduled in may so it would be looking at it would be looking at probably a week or two later than normal um just to offset it from basketball skills but we will again we'll get final dates out once we have that confirmed for that all right okay and then uh somebody asked about i think it was it was a net um about uh do persons in person competitions um have to be in phase two so that's a great question so yes your county would need to be um under 350 in order for you to travel to an in-person competition and then um petition to be in phase two uh we have we can work with your agency uh uh like if you're able to get down like if your county drops you know just within time we can do a petition and have that discussion with it as far as going over your petition pretty quickly but yeah your county does need to be below 350 in order to travel to an in-person competition and then your agency would just need a petition to be in phase two which is providing us information with what you what safety protocols you've been doing um at your practices and then we can follow up from there but uh yes phase two it would be a requirement for in-person competitions for in practice competitions you can do that in phase one so um if that that can help for those if that's a barrier for your agency um the last piece of of uh scheduling stuff uh we have two uh state competitions that would normally happen in the springtime um and they typically have been run by um by agency volunteers for us um that we got updates on recently so uh first part is gymnastics we heard back for up for gymnastics and uh we will not be having having gymnastics this year um it came down to a variety of different factors including venue availability and then safety protocols for not only our covet stuff but also uh through gymnastics programs and and uh working with their officials and all that type of stuff so gymnastics will not be happening this year uh they do plan on picking it back up again uh april for may 22 um i did and then i also talked to joe about power lifting power lifting is not going to happen in april um they're not canceling it for 2021 yet uh what he what joe is elected to do is wait a couple of months and see where we are coping-wise and where restrictions are and um try to host something in june if we can again if and if june's not a possibility then we would cancel it for this year so um powerlifting is not canceled but it's kind of too determined at this point it just will not be happening during its normal time frame so um let's see sharon asks july softball bocce t-ball any idea on the state date uh for ost ost we have it uh it's saturday august 7th is the date that we have for osd i think that's what you're asking so that's what i have for that um any questions about gymnastics or powerlifting all right and i think brittany it's it's your part of the agenda did we want to do the usa games update um i mean the update that we have for usa games is that we we we've extended the bowling nomination forms through the bowling season and that's been updated uh coaches if you want to uh or so accepting coaches applications and then we will be sending out other uh nomination criteria as the sports seasons come along and otherwise we're still planning our normal usa game schedule as as as we normally would until we have to change something so at this point we're still looking at a selection camp in september and then training camp again in april and going to usa games in june so that's your legitimate there's a leadership guy mike you're stealing my thunder yeah we still got a few more items to cover i think we'll cover some of those questions so perfect well first i want to talk about the fitness competition um just a real quick rundown i've mentioned it a few times now on the calls but um we will be offering a fitness competition that can either be done virtually so athletes can do it in their own homes without having to be in person or it can be done in an in-person practice setting there will not be a larger competition event but it is a competition that they can compete in on their own there will be three different levels based on intensity uh level one level two level three and within each of those levels there are four different exercises um i had recently sent out the playbook that has all of that listed out um not only the competition format but how we're going to division how we're going to score the different exercises and how to do them and all sorts of good stuff like that so check out the playbook first um if you have any questions feel free to reach out we just had a coach's training on tuesday night getting my nights confused um not a whole lot of people were on the call but thank you for those that did attend um hopefully it was helpful for you we did record it um and it will be posted on our website hopefully shortly if not by the end of the week um early next week so stay tuned for that um the one thing i do want to note is that the first round of scores for that um so we will be collecting a preseason a mid-season and then an end of season score for each of the exercises and the pre-season scores um are to be collected from february 1st through the 7th and then turned in by midnight of the 7th so if you are interested in fitness keep in mind that that those dates are coming up um so if you do have questions reach out um you might be wondering where the registration forms those are coming we're still kind of figuring some things out on our end um on exactly what needs to be collected and how we're going to do it in our database it's a it's a new sport for us so we're we're still kind of figuring out the kinks there but um at the very least they will be the registration forms will be available early next week so stay tuned for that we'll send them to all of the agencies that have um filled out the intent to play for fitness um as well as those that attended the training so um if you want to be included on that list just shoot me an email or message me in the chat and i'll be sure to add you to that list that's really all i had on the fitness competition unless if anybody had questions and if you're not convinced enough to do the fitness competition especially now that things are being pushed back a little bit it's a great opportunity to keep your athletes engaged and active while we wait for the other sports to pick up a little bit and yes diana i can send you the playbook um one other quick note on um kind of the health realm um i just want to do a quick little advertisement um next is that next week february 3rd not next week the week after wednesday february 3rd the health and fitness team is doing a little takeover of don's wigging out hour and we will be doing um oral health education um having some marquette dental students join us and giving us a virtual tour of their dentist office and walking the athletes through um what it's like to show up to the dentist what to expect and answer any questions that they might have so it's a really unique experience it's something we haven't done before having this virtual tour so if you would please share that information with your athletes that would be great i will include the information in the follow-up email but it is also on our events calendar as well and then i am going to surprise mark and put him on the spot to share the save the date for the leadership conference and then hopefully also talk about uh zoom accounts quick and what to expect timeline wise for that uh thanks for the uh two things i want to go back real quickly the polar plunge that i'm sending out an email to uh all agency managers tomorrow um but if you're a family member that generally does the sets up the polar plunge for your program and haven't done so uh we'll have there's going to be a little email that kind of explains things and a little surprise that will be coming into it so if you haven't signed up for the polar plunge now's the time to do it and it's easy and it's virtual or if you like to go sledding or take advantage of that but something is coming up tomorrow from me um regarding save the date i have a fantastic uh uh leadership conference team we've uh kind of finalized times dates sessions and such and on may 22nd which is a saturday uh we will be having our virtual leadership conference we will be sending out save the dates and specifics and such regarding that and on march 1st the beginning of march you'll be able to start registration sign up for what you would like there's a few surprises in there uh with that but uh please put on your calendar uh virtual zoom uh on may 22nd of this year for the uh virtual conference so uh we're excited about that and uh look for more information to come to that so uh and finally regarding uh zoom accounts um if you are interested uh to set up a zoom account within the agency please let brittany or i know there are some forms that need to be done this is going to start becoming live or available in february so it won't take off until february 1st but there's some form or two that we need information to help set that up uh for that if you need some more specific information feel free to contact uh contact us and uh we're excited but utilize the zoom accounts to keep in contact with your your coaches your teams family members it's another way of having that virtual training in augmenting what britney just said about uh the fitness competition you can do that internally within your own within your own group by utilizing the zoom meetings um as you're aware the free one only goes for 40 minutes and then it shuts off here by having the account uh it's a little more it's unlimited is that correct as to time um but you need to let us know so we can get that all set up and and ready to go so there's some logistics that we're working on um in doing some internal training on our end but if you just did please let us know any questions on any of that i have a question for mark yes mark i have heard so i want to confirm are you doing service awards at that zoom and how would that be done and is it for 2020 and 2021 we would we will be doing uh yes service awards um during the virtual uh i'm not gonna i'm not gonna give away secrets as to how we're gonna do it uh that's gonna be part of a surprise and quanasi we're still working on it but uh surprised um but uh we have captured uh over the last couple years who would qualify for that so we understand that we haven't done it over the last couple years so that's taken into consideration uh is that zoom stuff going to be ready for the fitness competition that will be your call brittany yeah i mean if the oops sorry my dog uh yeah if the forum is ready um by marc march february 1st then yes okay uh that's great and then the cost for the zoom for that that setup will be um eighty dollars and it's good for a whole year and it comes out of your um agency fund so that's one of the paperwork that we need there's some of that information and then we'll pull that out uh i'll make that transfer uh for that so um it's uh it will the eighty dollars as donna just mentions per year and then uh we'll handle some of the uh administrative uh logistics to that any other questions thank you everyone [Music] join us for the poor plunges um february 6 to february 28th the weekends of those correct mark yes yep and they're all listed sorry all of a sudden uh and they're all listed on the events calendar of the website so if you need to look at your specific um location uh you can look on the website um just one quick housekeeping note i wanted to add so nicole briefly mentioned it in the very beginning but for any in-person activity whether it's a practice or if you're attending a competition anyone not just our athletes but coaches volunteers anyone that will be there needs to fill out that covid release form and those actually need to be turned in so yes you can collect them at your practices but at some point please send them to the copied email address which is just coded at special olympicswisconsin.org so that we can update um everybody's profile in our databases and make sure we have that all marked down so that'll be in the follow up email per usual but i just wanted to give a reminder now that we're starting to be more and more in person so brittany that means parents are spectators yes if they're at the practices although keep in mind that those parents and spectators count towards your total numbers so i anticipate there won't be many parents and spectators right away because our numbers are no i was talking more about the in person as in winter games yeah they'll they'll need to fill it out i bel no don shaking his head i don't know now i'm not sure we'll we'll touch base more on parents and spectators um it's gonna be going through our protocols of screening and all that type of stuff so we would have their information um and and all that um but for oh like coming out to a one day state event i don't think that's the need part it's the participation in multiple practices and competition where we would need the code release form the we would still need to gather their information through the check-in process if they're an event um and they're going to be part of our competition area which is one of those things that we're working on for winter games but um the actual form itself um is is more so for um people registered participants for um special olympics and coaches and athletes and volunteers and we will have forms on site too so like if they needed to fill something out they could just do it there if that was the only thing thanks a couple questions in the chat coming through i think to everybody um the zooms will the zooms be individually owned by each agency um no yes and no it's a complicated process yeah i can i can touch on that um so we they will be in order to get the 50 discount they're going to be tied to the state accounts so we have a certain number of accounts that that we have for different departments and so the only way that we can really manage it to get the 50 discount which we do through through what's called tech soup um is to tie them all so what we'll really need is for you guys to provide an email address when the when the time comes and then we're and actually i'm going to be um i have a meeting next not tomorrow but a week from tomorrow with the zoom admin people to kind of go over some of this stuff but the idea is then that that once you provide us the the provide mark the information that you want to get an account he'll be able to tie that through finance to get charged and then we'll take that email that you provide enter into the kind of the backend admin features of zoom and then you would get an email or whoever that email would get it and then you would go in and it would on you would sign up for your account with that email address and then you would automatically be in the same system as us for for all the features now you would be able to set up your own meetings um all those things you do it on your own but it is still kind of tied to the special olympics account so i don't know if that made sense and if that answered the question but that's kind of where we're at right now in terms of what we know the key is you'll you'll have you'll have control to set up your own meetings and everything else we won't have our say into any of that that but in order to to get the benefits it has to be as don mentioned tied in at the top level but we're not going to be big brother and watch over uh on each individual stuff we may pop in just to watch and be be active but for the most part you're in control of how you want to run that meeting yeah you won't have to contact us ahead of time to set anything up you'll be able to do that all yourself and that was the last thing on the agenda so i see some questions coming in the chat we're trying to answer as we go but if anybody has any questions feel free to just unmute and shout out just kind of open open questions uh now you covering vaccinations at all we we have no additional updates for vaccines about from soi or from the wichita department of health so okay i have a question i have a question that was proposed to me by an athlete he's going to be scheduled to get his vaccination next week i already know some of our adults have gotten theirs is that something that we're going to have to report or special olympics wants to know when they've gotten their vaccination at this point we have not been given anything from soi for how we're tracking it i i would assume if we're planning on tracking it it would be something an additional either an additional like individual form where it'd be added to an athlete medical form but at this point we don't have a system to do that yet so that's a good question we just don't we're waiting for we're waiting for for everything from the top down and it's gonna you know normally takes a little bit so okay jason i am on top of that i'm just wondering should they be you know logging i mean this athlete lives by himself should he make sure he knows the date in case you know in another month you decide that you need to know the date that they got it or some sort of a record my recommendation would be so they get that card filled out with the date um partly because it's a two dose right but then do they keep it out i would say keep that card not only for our purposes but i i have a feeling that card might be useful for even just like travel and life um so my recommendation would be to keep that card even not thinking about special olympics um but then they then they'd have it in case we do need it later but and i wasn't sure if they take that card after the second dose i believe the the person keeps it um another option that i would recommend would be like taking a picture of it so that way if you lose the physical card you at least have a picture of it um and it's probably best to know this now when we're in the beginning of it until we get to the end and then everybody's going i don't remember when i got it right right and i am assuming that it's probably since it's right now i think it's since it's like you've either got it you don't have it i'm assuming it's gonna be more of a checkbox than it might be a date but again we i don't even know if that's gonna be something we're gonna require the information on um we'll we'll let you know as i mean the last thing we heard from special olympics incorporated was that they're working with their health um officials and they'll let us know when they know so we're kind of in that same boat okay because it's a good thing to be thinking about it i mean yeah well and better more information than not have it i i i agree question for you all of you you're there yep i i was going to ask you about the vaccination thing what if somebody has just one vaccination and not just two because i know some of the vaccines are different kinds of um vaccines don't will that be on your medical and form or what's the deal uh yeah like i just said we we're we're waiting to hear from from special mixing corporate special effects north america to see what they're going to require as far as information goes or if they're going to require information so i if it's if it's a single dose vaccination and that's the way it's set up like that's going to be you know it's obviously going to be sufficient enough so that's just kind of again where we're going with um i'm trying to take a look is there was there anything i missed in the chat i know there's been a couple of things to come up i don't think so i've been trying to answer it as it goes okay oh yeah i've got a question for you now um one of the things that like when your medical gets informed every three years you know i know like we've had medical and stuff like that from our agencies now will that show up like uh will that medical thing show up on the um on the on like the medical forums well you have to get a colbit thing every so many years or is that going to be just a one-time thing or is it going to be permanent um um i don't know peter we just don't know right now oh we don't know okay i'm sorry if i push the press um one thing i would like to and like to see in special olympics i know that we i've kind of thought about in my mind it's been kind of stuck in my mind not to perseverate on anything but i would like to know is if um if that when if and when we do get back together that i think there should be a special recognition for all the people that have lost their lives from the coronavirus i think that maybe they should have like when we have opening ceremonies again that i think the people that have died and lost their lives because of the pandemic or during the pandemic that they should have some kind of recognition especially that's a great idea i think um maybe we can talk offline too more about this yeah because a lot of great ideas that we'd want to hear about but i think we'll we'll open it up to everyone else for questions okay well sure that's fine that's fine i agree with that but i miss everybody yeah we miss you too well yeah well we'll be back so when are we going to start back up i missed part of the meeting i'm a little late to the party as you can see i think i think we'll catch you up offline because we we covered quite a bit so we'll we'll catch up um at another yeah fill me in yeah fill me in um yeah but we're gonna be starting pretty soon like in april or something is that the plan i'll fill you in we'll talk offline all right thanks a lot yup all right there was a question regarding the zoom thing do we have to take and let special olympics know when we're having a meeting or something if we take and get on that 80 thing or no on our own no you would have your your email that you would create your account with would be what you would do so you would have your own account that way it just is tied to the special olympics account for billing reasons so you you you would be able to set up your own meetings be able to do all that type of stuff and again um if you have i know i know you where i know a lot of people are on that zoom training but if you weren't on the zoom training it is also on the uh return to play uh website a portion of our website too but you can set up all your own meetings through that account like it's your own individual account so that's not a problem thank you yep are we still having unified races for swimming um at this point we haven't modified any events for swimming so at this point i would say yes so and then again you know with just everything being flexible if we have to figure out a way to minimize numbers that may change but yeah at this point yeah hey brittany i sent you a message in chat got it all right um otherwise uh we'll get out a few minutes earlier than normal but thanks everybody for joining us and um and then if you have any additional questions we can talk uh jake we can touch base after this meet after we get done signing off here and then otherwise we're available during the week obviously and then um we'll be back in two weeks for the next coaches meeting so thanks everybody have a great night all right jake what's your question
