hey it's TLO here and this video is about taking a personal phone and a work phone and combining those phone numbers so you can eliminate your phone bill from your personal this happened to me and I carried around two phones checking two text messages emails and paid to phone bar pay the personal phone cell phone while my company paid my company cell phone and you know what it was just completely inefficient and took me a while to figure this out so I'm just going to give you what I did and it I've had my self a combined for over a year and a half this is work awesome has eliminated that personal cell phone bill and relatively easy so what's the secret sauce the secret sauce is Google Voice so what what you need to do is you need to sign up for a Google Voice account I believe it's only $20 and it's for a lifetime now Google Voice isn't really intended to do this but it's one of the many benefits of Google Voice so what Google Voice will do and I'm going to give you the website I'll give you this a couple times it's www m / voice and what Google Voice is intended to do is they'll either assign you a phone number which you don't want to do or you can port a cell phone number over to Google Voice which is what we want to do in this case so what you do is when you go on to Google Voice and you go in and you're setting up your account and it says assign a number there's a place within it it's very obvious to port a number / so what you want to do is you want to port your personal cell phone number over to Google Voice what Google Voice and it's very simple and easy and there's other videos that talk about Google Voice but what it allows you to do is it allow you to take that phone number and you can point it at up to six different phone lines so you can point it at landlines you can point it at cell phone lines where ever you want to do it and instantaneously change that so if you're leaving a job if you're leading that work phone and you decide that you want to that you're going to lose that cell phone and that cell phone number that's associated with work all you have to do is get a cell phone from any courier um have them assign you a number and then you can just point your Google Voice number over to that or if you get a new job with a new work phone that's provided to you you just port it over or you pointed at that new cell phone number so it's really easy if you're in between jobs and you don't want to get a cell...
