hello guys welcome to my youtube channel in this video i'm going to take you through how you can copy a person or group in outlook using mail merge if you find this video useful kindly hit the like button and subscribe for more contents now let's go straight into the video in outlook select file click on manage rules and alerts in the rules and alerts box click on new rule to create a rule navigate to the start from a blank rule menu and select apply rule on messages i send click on next to move to the next page because this is a mail merge the rule will be applied to all the messages you will send as such do not choose any of the conditions here click on next in the pop-up box select yes to apply the rule to every message you will send in step 1 check cc the message to people or public group box in step 2 click on people or public group to add the email address of those you intend to copy select the persons or groups email address in the address box if you do not have the addresses there type in the email address in the to box you can add multiple mail address click on ok to add click on finish to create rule click on apply to save you settings press ok to complete the process [Music] open your excel document that contains the information to be inserted and the addresses of the recipients open the word document that contains the information you want to send to do mail merge click on mailings click on start mail merge and select email messages click select recipients and select use an existing list in the select data source pop-up box select the excel document and click on open to choose as data source in the pop-up box click ok if you want to remove a recipient from your list click on edit recipient list use the check boxes to add or remove recipients from the mail merge when your list is ready to use click ok click on insert merge field to add the various fields from the recipients list [Music] click on preview results to see how the finished documents will look like click on finish and merge and select send email messages in the pop-up box click on the to box to select the field that contains the email address type in the subject and click ok to send the messages check the video description below for tutorial link on how to send email messages using mail merge [Music] do [Music] after the mails are sent deactivate the rule before you send another mail [Music] thank you for watching and click on the subscribe button for more contents [Music]
