good morning everybody i'm trevor bales with bales hay farm and ranch now i'm in the field checking on the merger we're testing out we're in a field my father-in-law owns we're gonna combine four swath paths into one windrow with a rake to be bailed [Music] i'm just checking on them seeing how things are going i'm going to uh i'm going to throw a gopro on it so you guys can watch that deal awesome i just threw a gopro on the merger so just to show you one two three four there are four swath paths in this border we are going to combine them all together this time of year with our low yields we can combine these and run make one run with a baler instead of two it makes a better bale and it makes us more efficient one thing i am noticing it's dropping quite a bit of hay or missing it's missing a bit of hay i don't know if that's because this is an older machine that these guys have used a lot and it's just getting worn out or if that's all of them i don't know but it sure makes a field kind of messy which requires more cleanup later there are different models and different brands maybe a different brand will do a better job cleaning up i don't know so i've got to go from here run to my buddy's place borrow his front end loader to do a little cleanup in those pins we're working on yesterday and the day before and the day before that and that's what i'm about to borrow it's good to have friends with nice equipment well today ended up being hectically busy borrow my buddies front end loader for a couple hours forgot the camera my pickup sorry i didn't get to show that oh my gosh then i don't know what else we did it just never seemed ending today we are at a field that was lasered it's been irrigated once and now it's on its second irrigation and i thought i would show you a little something because this field is a little steep and we have a hard time getting water to spread across he puts these tins out here to help divert the water to the edges if he didn't he also has some up there he's moving him now if he didn't have those tins that water would run straight down the field now that has nothing to do with a bad laser job it's just because the field is so steep and the water is going to take the path of the least resistance in a steep field it's gonna go straight so there's that water hitting this tin coming this direction and going down he's got one up there going that way so just a cool little thing we do i guess it's cool maybe it's not i don't know you you...
