so we have installed a new ssd drive in our system and we want to use it for our native instruments sample libraries things like contact battery reactor etc and we'll have to re-link those libraries using native access after we move them so let's go ahead and check out how you would do that first locate where your native instruments content is installed all of my libraries are installed here in this single folder if you don't know where your content is installed open native access check preferences and find the content location there once you find the content simply copy or move it to the new drive we have over 900 gigs to move so this can take a while and we are finished now we can delete the old content or remove the old hard drive and keep it for a backup but we'll just delete the old folder since we're going to use this hard drive for other content then open native access and you'll see all of your sample content needs to be repaired you can do this one by one but it's much easier to do them all at once since all of our content is in a single folder click relocate all click browse and locate the master folder on the new drive then choose relocate and you're done if you have some libraries that are not relocated you can do those manually scroll through the list choose repair and locate the proper folders once you're all done go to preferences and change the content location to the new drive this way any updates and future installs will be installed to the new location and you're done now let's check out the instruments to make sure the content loads throw in contact all of our libraries are there and ready to use and they work we'll check battery 4 and it needs to rescan the content load up a kit and it works let's check complete control our preview works but there's an error when loading the instrument you can check edit and preferences library and make sure the locations are correct and all of these are try a rescan and we still have a problem but no big deal one thing you can do is uninstall complete control and then reinstall but if we check available updates we have an update we can install so i'll just do that then open in standalone once it comes up you'll notice it's still scanning the libraries so wait for it to finish after all the scanning is done everything should be ready to use [Music] and finally we'll check reactor [Music] and everything works so that's how you can move all of your native instruments sample library content to a new drive and link the new location using native [Music] access you
