hello there i am not sure if we have someone in the class uh if you are it's giving me we have one attendee but no name uh so if you are there if you just give me a quick hey in the chat box that'd be great all right i'm going to go ahead and get us started in about one more minute thanks for joining today alrighty well i think it might just be the two of us today so welcome thank you for joining my name's shannon i run the customer education program here at concord and i'm super excited to be able to talk to you about our e-signature process today so this session is pretty quick usually about 20 minutes 20 to 30 minutes but of course if you have questions or things aren't making sense just let me know in the chat box and we can go ahead and clear that up quick question i'd like to ask just to everybody before we get started here is how long have you been using concord for just gives me a great baseline for where everybody's at you can just put that right in the chat box if you're comfortable doing so we are just starting excellent well this is a great class for you then so what we're going to talk about today is going through the process of e-signature so i'm going to go ahead and just open up a document here we're going to start from a template make my life a little bit easier as opposed to having to build one out from scratch now because we started from a template we have some fields that have already been added we notice that our text is already right where it needs to be but our main concern here is learning about the process of e-signature so when you are going to start the process of setting up e-signature it's important to recognize that there are going to be two options so the first is the default functionality which exists currently and then the second is using this preset signature block so i know you mentioned you just started but this new functionality was actually just introduced about two weeks ago so prior to this new functionality the configure signers block was the default and what happens is when you are using this signature block it's just creating the signature location in the document for you so let's go over to our signers button and open up the signer panel and let's add two signatories we're going to add myself and then i'm going to add maxwell who is ultimately going to be the person that we're executing this agreement with and what we see here down at the bottom is with this signature block we see the two names we see a space for company and we see a space for title so it sets that process up for us it sets...
