so let's go and have a look at the initiation of this move and this is the initial balance break so what we're looking at here we are in a stock since the break of 3243 tax break of um 12 993 so breaking that 13 000 level straight the way through the ib and it's the is the energy in this early move that really shows its hand interesting as well how the dax then continues whilst the stock straight sideways which also further illustrates that dax movement and shows that we've got a fair bit of continuation the important bit though was this very very high volume early start very high volume break towards the downside both stocks and dax that was your cue once you start to see that i suggested this morning you need to see energy change you need to see something different happening in the market today if we are gonna get this move towards the downside and so you get that on today's move so just bring the couple of ladders in for you what we've got here this is 10 seconds before the cash open so at this point in time we're sitting all the way up here and we have a minute of not doing loads you get a bit of volume going through we know there's that scope for the downside in these markets but until you get that break the initial balance this yeah this is the very first few seconds of the cash session this is where people are getting their business done from overnight you start to see the first early orders getting put into the market and it's letting the market settle a little bit that's important on a day like this and yeah in fact on any at the beginning of any day really let it settle you don't have to jump in straight away you know there's an obvious break and it goes straight for it on the open of the the cash session fair enough but right at this point you're sitting up inside the ib and the dax around about 13 um 13025 stocks are sitting up around about 32.50 so with we're almost bounced all the way back up the ib and so this this is the time just to sort of sit back a little bit you could be thinking about this iv breaks the upside or to the downside in this situation remember we were coming off the back of a reasonably stable day on friday yes marginally down but predominantly stable as now we're starting to see a little bit more movement towards downside that's picking the pace up to the downside stocks as well starting to get chased by a thousand lot too we are 100 lots sitting at the low trades do we get any bounces to start we get a little bounce now no bounce above it as soon as you can see that lack of bounce above that hundred comes down there fills it stocks is now approaching the low as well there was your early chance to get in that's now through 93 so we've got the chance of dax 393 stocks on the on the break the initial balance as well dax is already 10 ticks through this then gives you the chance to sell stocks on the break we leave a little patch of low volume on that ib or on the ib low hold it dax is still holding down as well we said very quick little tick back towards 43 and it holds we do see a very little float very quick little float above as well taking you all the way back up towards 46. remember that at this same point that's just got that that entry that you could have had as we broke that hundred that was your key your key area there once the dax broke that hundred that gave you the chance to stay in that's now continuing to the downside as well and this has given you further confidence in the euro stocks to continue to play this down and the thing is here this is about recognizing that energy coming in as we moved here to start with as i was first talking we were so quite choppy up and down up and down once then the energy started to come in as we sort of shot down through the range through that initial balance that was what said to you this has got this has got something in it this has got some decent movement in it and that was the important bit once you recognize that this is where if you've got in on that initial balance break you can start holding this and looking for a much larger movement remember this is a reasonably small initial balance as well that's dragging the move down equally euro stocks is now three ticks through the initial balance that's just gone around about 30 ticks through so you know stocks in a way lagging this a little bit so early on a little bit of that's catch up but you see it's very very steady push push push to the downside that's telling you a lot the energy doesn't drop out of it you look at the volume here we're not seeing any holding up um there either and so the strength is there this is showing you that we've got that push through the ib strength of movement towards the downside and that's what then sets you up for that continued trend so keep your eyes on those initial balance breaks particularly when you've got the structure to do it that was the important thing it was the structure was there then when you see the energy come in this is now saying to you your structure is there and you've got the energy to get the break as well it's on to oil play of the week in oil was looking at it to
