hi guys and welcome to the next video today we're going to follow up on the previous video which was the final programming tutorial and today we're going to cover motion instructions so as you remember in the latest video uh i've created a program with uh three points and uh when i was adding these two points uh when i hit point there were a few options that we can select so i'm going to talk about those today so what i want to cover is what type of motions do we have in fano robot how to change them what are all of the elements of the ins of the motion instruction how to change it and uh what are the changes that we can make and how they will affect the robot movement so basically uh i wanna cover the motion today so let's get started all right so there are three main motion types in fanuc the first are the joint movements the second are the linear movements and the third one are the circular movements so that's how you tell the robot how it's going to move so how the movement will look like then the second thing that's important in the motion instruction is the point it can refer to a local point in the program which is then the solving p and in the uh patterns you have a number in it which means that's the point inside that program or it can refer to a global point called a positional register which we're going to talk about later on and it can be used in many programs so you can have one point but in every program is going to look the same so that's a position register the next part of the motion instruction is a speed and now depending on the on the motion type if it's a joint movement or a circular or linear it's different for joint movements we have a percentage for the linear movement and circular movements we have millimeters per second and the last part or the part before the last one is the termination type what determination type guys it's saying how the robot is going to act at the end of the movement so that means if it's going to stop or it's going to run the movement and make a nice smooth move uh or it's going to act differently so that's the termination type the cnt or fine and the last part which is optional is not always used either acceleration acc and with that you're telling how fast the robot will start the movement if it's going to be a regular movement or you want to make a little bit slower because i don't know you have something that's super heavy and the robot is like almost at his limit so you want to make sure it's a nice steady move that's where you use the acc uh saying that...
