welcome back guys welcome to my youtube channel techy amrit so we are uh back again with a new topic in our azure cloud series that is sas token and shared access signature so we deep dive into how we give a partial access or the shared access to our container or the blob that we have created so before i proceed if you are new to my channel please subscribe click on the subscribe button on the video and you will get the latest notification whenever i create a new videos so start okay so what is shared exact signature so i will use the term sas instead of shared access signature so in sas ss is a uri that allows you to specify the time span and the permissions allowed for access to a storage resource such as a blob or a container so guys whenever you define a shared access signature uh you have an option to like from what time to what time span like the start time and the end time you uh you give a permission for that particular resource of a storage account that user can able to access or user or whatever the access rights you have permission like read write modify whatever the permissions you have given so that so that they are able to use it so uh it is very important to keep that the time span in my mind in your mind because there is a time difference maybe your time your time difference varies from with another region time resource so uh keep that thing in my mind and always use https option so that uh the it should be uh the the shared access signature should run on on like on a secure server right so the default permission whenever you create any blob so there are three types of permissions you have for each container in blob storage uh one is the private and there is a blob another is at the container level so when you set private you are able to see your own container and blobs only and when you on a block when you set the public read access for the blobs so it will be redid everyone and on if you set on the container like public read access for the blob container and blobs so so these are the three options that you can choose depending upon your requirement right so these are the default permissions that are available so what if you need to create your custom i will show you further so guys the url you can that you can see on my screen is a combination of you can say the base uri and the sas token so the the yellow portion that i have i have highlighted the svstsrsp these are the the permissions that we are going to give to the while creating the ss token or you can say that as a shared...
