one of the biggest reasons people are hesitant to give up the check writing process is it's what they've always known we tend to gravitate towards what we're comfortable with they're worried about the risk signing a check is still an indication that they've reviewed something and don't feel they can get the same thing from a paperless solution it's trust and you have to you have to work at that pace and once you get beyond the trust factor that that once you you push that little button it's going to get to where it needs to go and it'll be okay the whole payment method from from business to business has to change a lot of folks have apprehension to it and i think it's because it's a new way of handling payments as all accountants are we're pretty uh suspect of things that sound too good to be true and it certainly did you know pay your checks get money back for it through a credit card it's more secure more efficient and more streamlined and then what the auditing folks the internal audit side says it's much more secure because you don't have checks floating out there i was reluctant as well but when i saw the value of my time and what i could get back by using this solution both both financially you know again my own time management and the ability to track information it's foolish not to try i think some of that fear is raised out of job security but what we're finding is it doesn't eliminate positions it takes those individuals that were previously doing those things and it makes them more efficient and allows them to do other things that are much more strategic with their time and add value to the company the program has impacted our business with freeing up time for some of our other accounting employees to be able to do other tasks taking our payable system from a check system to an electronic system allowed us to actually become smarter or i should say we work smarter not harder we created so many efficiencies internally we're able to time our payments to our vendors literally to the half an hour and our vendors appreciate us for it what we have found out is with global vcard payment it's there they get it and it gets processed half the time they'll call me and go did you send me the check i said yeah i sent it a week ago we never have an issue where someone says i didn't get your payment we we were concerned at first that that perhaps our our suppliers might want to increase the prices because the there obviously is a commission to them for accepting the card but really they all look at it as really just doing uh you know a cost of doing business so we've seen no increase in prices and from our perspective we...
